Hey Jon, I am trying to install the windows 10 on my eve-ng lab and it keeps crashing. I am hosting my eve-ng on a vm workstation which is on a laptop that I have upgraded the ram to 64g allocating 32g to the eve-ng instance. any idea why this is happening and do you have any suggestions. On what platform is your eve-ng being hosted and what is the specs?

Hmm that's interesting, you could try allocating more cores if you have any available. What processor is running on your laptop? I'm currently running EVE-NG on a bare metal server but I've spun up a windows device while running EVE-NG as a VM in workstation as well. You could also try decreasing the number of vcpus that are allocated to the windows node when adding it to your lab.

@@jongreenit thank you bro, I was able to finally install it by adding more disk space to the eve-ng instance. But due to the size of the firewall images I am currently working with, I ordered a dell R630 server with 256gig of ram and 8t of disk space plus 28 core of cpu. I know that’s an overkill but I need all the lab work I can get right now

@inspirationcity Nice, and no problem. That will certainly suffice your future labs 🔥

sir i mean if i study ccna but don’t exam it and directly get ccnp certification from cisco can i get a job with just ccnp certification without ccna certification ???

If only it were that simple. Unfortunately you must test and pass the CCNA before you are able to be eligible to test for the CCNP track

@@jongreenitdear sir i already have the ccnp from cisco but i dont have ccna. is ccna exam is crucial for me or not for applying for job ??

@@yuosefjan9478 You're good to go then, if you have the CCNP and are already familiar with the material covered in the CCNA go for it. The CCNP will help you to standout as a candidate when applying.
