You can't imagine how huge this band was in the late 70s. They were everywhere! Detroit Rock City is my favorite; highly recommended. On the other end of the spectrum, "Beth" was a surprisingly beautiful ballad. KISS is worth your time exploring more of their work!
You stole my thunder, Pong! And believe it or not, that was their biggest hit to date. Their album covers used to terrify me as a kid. But when the makeup is off and theyre off the stage they can be the nicest guys you'd ever met.
One of the biggest bands of all time. They were huge in the US from 1975 to 1979. Their popularity faded there in the 80's, but they were huge in other parts of the world in the early 80's. Then they took the makeup off in 1983 and became just another hair metal band. They also had numerous lineup changes from 1980 to 1984. Their second drummer, Eric Carr, (not the one in this video) joined them in 1980, but died of cancer in 1991. The original lineup (which is the lineup in this video) re-united and put the makeup back on in 1996 and they became massive again, selling out all over the world. They are finally on their retirement tour now, and after 50 years, KISS will finally finish. They started out as a hard rock band, then went to pop rock for a while, then tried a concept album which didn't work, before going back to a hard rock band again. They have an incredible history and lots of great songs, despite not really ever being taken seriously for their music. KISS were always known for their amazing stage show, make up and costumes. But they do have lots and lots of good songs. They have made so many albums. They have been wildly popular and have an army of fans around the world. And this is probably their biggest hit. Which is funny, because it is basically a disco song, and KISS were anything but a disco group for the majority of their career.
@@MorenikejiTaiwo ''Their popularity faded there in the 80's,'', Well, yes, but it's not that simple. Each decade ushers in a change. The era of makeup was over. Kiss had to reinvent themselves or fade away. They made the decision to show their faces and it worked. With all the criticism, one thing is for certain, they extended their careers.
@@MorenikejiTaiwoa few details left out by the above commenter is that when Kiss took off the make-up during the 1980's and performed it was with only two of the original members Lead Singer Paul Stanley and Bass Guitarist Gene Simmons the drummer Peter Cris and Lead Guitarist Ace Frehley left Kiss for solo careers. Kiss fans of the 1970's hated this song as Kiss was a Rock Band but this song is more inline with Disco Music of the era and the Kiss fans thought they selling out to the mainstream music market.
I would argue that “Rock and Roll All Night” is easily their most famous, though this song “I Was Made For Loving You” was more played internationally.
In the 70's my babysitter would bring her KISS records over and do her homework. I would sit on the floor looking at the album covers, listening to the music and being blown away.
Grew up listening to KISS and my dad's a huge fan of them. This song remains one of my favourite songs from them. I still get the chills while listening to this song😅
You are in the presence of rock royalty pretty lady. As a kid growing up, my parents had KISS albums in their collection, and I fell in love. They rock so friggin hard!
KISS was a HUGE band in the early and mid-1970's, I saw them for the first time in 1976 on the "Destroyer" album tour, and then a couple of years later on their "Dynasty" tour. The change was scary. In 1976 there were rock and roll fans at the show, with lots of fireworks in the crowd and on stage. By 1979 there were 8 year old kids with their parents walking the halls, and everything seemed much "safer" and less intense. Old KISS is the best stuff, "Black Diamond", "Cold Gin", "Deuce", "Strutter", "100,000 Years" and "Rock and Roll All Night (And Party Every Day)".
I seen them in Bakersfield California. A friend of mine worked for a radio station gave me two front row seats. Never have I had so much fun. Totally the best concert ever. I was so hyped I was up all night. It was like my whole body was still vibrating.
They are an American band from New York. They rose to popularity in the 70s and were known for the makeup, although they stopped wearing the makeup later on. Their live concerts were a huge production with fire and other effects. A nice reaction from our favorite baby girl.
One of the few bands that originally formed in the late 60s early 70s made a name for themselves in Japan. The Kabuki theater makeup was a trademark of this band for many years. They are still together and still doing shows albeit at a somewhat slower pace. Gene and Paul still collaborate together and also work to produce other bands as well.
Their opening hype man would always introduce them with "Ladies and Gentlemen! You wanted the Best? You got the best! KISS!" From that point on it was one huge party. This song was KISS's foray into disco, or KISSco if you want, and with the exception of their ballads was the lightest that KISS went.
@@bhalstead6313 The first KISS song that I ever heard. My older cousin was babysitting us in 1977 and played that for us. If my mom had known she would have gone postal. Thank you cousin Lesa.
Lead singer Paul Stanley-"The Star Child", Ace Frehley on Guitar-"Space Man", Gene Simmons on Bass-"The Demon", and Peter Chriss on Drums-"The Cat". They were huge in the 70s. This one was from the 80s just before removing their make up. Check out some of their older ones. They have a great ballad called "Beth". I think you'll love that one. Gene was known for his loooong tongue, spitting blood, and blowing fire during shows. "You wanted the best. You got the best! The loudest rock band of all time-KISS!!"
Gene was really the one scarring me in the video 😂 and I understand better from your detailed explanation on their makeup now. I appreciate the detailed info!🙏 ❤️. Thank you!😊
@@MorenikejiTaiwo There is a reason behind each performer's makeup and onstage personas. Gene Simmons' character, The Demon comes from his love of comic book super heroes and monster movies. Paul Stanley's character, Star Child comes from his desire to be famous. Ace Frehley's character, Space Ace came from his love of 1950's science fiction movies and Peter Criss' character, The Cat Man came not from his love of cats, but from his reckless lifestyle. Apparently, he's had so near death experiences that his friends told him he must have nine lives like a cat. Ace Frehley is the one who came up with the KISS logo, with the lightning bolt "SS". The logo is banned in Germany due to the resemblance between the lightning bolt "SS" and Nazi "SS". This has led to accusations against the band of being Nazis. Gene Simmons, born Chaim Witz in Israel, and Paul Stanley, born Stanley Eisen, in Queens, New York are actually Jewish, and Simmons actually went to Hebrew school to become a Rabbi.
LOL GREAT reaction, Nikeji!! The way you reacted to Gene was exactly what he would have wanted and the way you reacted to Paul was exactly what HE would have wanted. Each member had an onstage persona, represented by their face makeup and their costumes: Gene was The Demon, Paul was the StarChild or Lover, Ace was The Spaceman and Peter was The Cat.
Paul could sing very well in 1979. But today, his voice has been going downhill. I guess that's what to expect from 50 years on the road, playing in front of packed arenas. He's still my second favorite front man of all time, behind Freddie Mercury.
KISS is one of the greatest bands ever, not only in showmanship, but actual talent. Paul Stanley is the lead singer, and he is criminally underrated. Glad you finally got around to listening to them. Morenikeki - you are one of my favorite RUclips reactioners. Please keep checking out more of their songs, they have a wide range of songs, stuff you would not expect from them. They did a live MTV unplugged song called - "I still love you" without the makeup. I think you would like that one.
I enjoyed watching your reaction. You weren't sure what to expect at the beginning but you slowly got on board with what was happening. This band is a national treasure with all the ups and downs they have endured over the years. Welcome to the KISS Army!
This is absolutely one of the best rock and roll bands that ever existed. Your reaction was pretty much the same as mine when I first heard this song when it hit the charts.
KISS came out in 1974 and the music critics only gave them 5 years tops and they’d be gone. Well, guess what? 49 years and they are still at it. They have a huge catalogue. Songs from the first era of make up years that I recommend are: Black Diamond, 100,000 Years, Strutter, Cold Gin, Duece, Firehouse, Hotter Than Hell, Got To Choose, Goin’ Blind, Let Me Go Rock n Roll, Comin’ Home, Parasite, Nothin’ To Lose, Strange Ways, She, Rock n Roll All Night, C’Mon And Love Me, Shout It Out Loud, Detroit Rock City, Flaming Youth, Great Expectations, God Of Thunder, Beth, Sweet Pain, Do You Love Me?, King Of The Night Time World, Take Me, I Want You, Calling Dr Love, Makin’ Love, Ladies Room, Mr Speed, Love Gun, Christine Sixteen, I Stole Your Love, Almost Human, Plaster Caster, Shock Me, And Then She Kissed Me, Hooligan, Tomorrow And Tonight, Got Love For Sale, I Love It Loud, and War Machine. Then during the non make up years: Lick It Up, Fits Like A Glove, Young and Wasted, Exciter, All Hell’s Breakin’ Loose, Thrills In The Night, Under The Gun, Heaven’s On Fire, Uh All Night, Tears Are Falling, Crazy, Crazy Nights, Unholy, Domino, God Gave Rock n Roll To You II, and I Just Wanna. Then from ‘96 to present with make up back on: Psycho Circus, We Are One, and All For The Glory. It’s a pretty deep rabbit hole to dive into. I’m gonna be 56 in a couple months and have been a fan since I was 6. Hope you can check a majority of these out. Thanks
You can’t imagine how huge this band was in the late 70s they were everywhere but this music meant everything to me through out your soul if u really love someone and if listen to this is inspired to and I hope u love this god bless u
The look on your face was priceless, l loved your reactions throughout the video. I could see the different emotions passing across your face, fantastic.
New to you -- KISS has been around since the early 70s. I saw them twice, and as a kid sent a picture I drew of them to the record company. A month later the drawing came back with all their autographs! (the 70s was a simpler time).
The absolute best reaction We have ever seen.... The Incredible Looks you have " What the Heck is this!!!" And still the head bobbing starts.. Then to see you mouth the words, whilst still with " WT heck " all over. Excellent... Love You Sister...Siriah from Cape Town....
I absolutely loved your genuine reaction... I used to be a big KISS fan... your expression was priceless! I love you baby girl ... thanks for the smile!
I loved watching your face reacting--especially the first time you heard the chorus. This was an unusually bouncy/happy/pop song for Kiss, and not all Kiss fans liked it at the time, but it would go on to be their biggest worldwide hit. Cool to see your reactions. Made me happy to watch.
Well us kids growing up in the 70's were privileged with great music. I got given my first kiss album from my older cousin in 1976 which was kiss alive an then hooked then ac/dc was my second favorite an went to see kiss when they first came out to Australia at vfl park Waverly Melbourne Victoria in 79. What a preference for this young 13 year old 🎉 an rock an roll all night an rocket ride were a couple i enjoyed to listen too. Ace was my favorite great guitarist 👍
Glad you have been welcomed to the world of KISS. The song that you reviewed was one of their hits in the later portion of the 70s. It was called their "disco contribution." But primarily the band was more of a heavier rock and roll platform. Like the other contributors I could suggest a whole bunch of different songs to listen to and review. For example... Detroit Rock City... Beth... Cold Gin... Rock And Roll All Night . And so many more. Each one of the band members had their own persona Gene Simmons as the demon... Bass player Paul Stanley. The Starman. Lead vocals and guitar Peter Criss. The Catman. Drummer. Ace Frehley. The Spaceman. Guitar and vocals Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley have been with the group since its start in 1973. The other members either were rotated out or left the band for miscellaneous reasons. What I would strongly encourage you to do is to do a Wikipedia on the band so that way you have a much broader perspective as far as who they are. They kept the makeup on until the mid-1980s but then they decided to take the makeup off so people could see who they were. Although this attracted a lot of people, people also like them having the makeup on so they did a series of shows with and without the makeup. I would encourage you to do a search for the MTV kiss un masking and you can see what they look like without the makeup. This year marks their 50th Anniversary that they have been together. This year will most likely be the last year that they will perform because it has now been 50 years and as the band members are starting to get older and have different things happening in their lives. I would strongly encourage you to look at some of the different videos that they have done. As you peruse through them the band was not only for the vocals as far as who they were and the makeup, but also a lot of the different things that they did. For example Gene Simmons would spit blood, Ace Frehley would get his guitar smoking as if it was on fire... nevermind the pyrotechnics which were part of the band and fire and explosions on the stage and the Incredible sound and light shows as well! And so many more things. I don't want to ruin it for you I would like you to be able to pursue this information and see what you find. But they are one of the highest grossing bands of all-time! Two other videos I would suggest that you look at. Do a RUclips search for the following Kiss rock am ring Lick it up (fire and pyrotechnics sample.) Kiss rock am ring Detroit Rock City ( lightshow and pyrotechnics) Kiss rock am ring Firehouse ( Gene Simmons spits fire) Hope this helps and keep up the great music revealing! :-)
Paul Stanley, the lead singer, designed the makeup, and as the band members left, their makeup look was retired, and the new addition got his own look. Their gimmick was to never be in public without the makeup. KISS was so hot they even had their own comic strip in which they, in full costume, of course, were superhero vigilantes fighting crime between concerts, like Batman with a guitar.
KISS was/is one of THE MOST popular and influential rock bands in the world. When this video and the video for "Sure Know Something' were made,KISS had just come off of a HUGE 4 year popularity wave, especially here in the U.S. This song and the album it came off of was released in 1979 at the height of the disco craze. You REALLY need to watch and react to some live performances of them from their classic early to mid 70's era. I've been a diehard fan since 1976,but for me the early years were the best! There's a lot of really cool stuff as well from the non makeup years (1983-1995) is great too. They put the makeup back on in 1996 and still wear it to this day. They are celebrating their 50th year as a band this year!
Hi, Mo. Your reaction to the tongue-flashing demon bass player (Gene Simmons) was exactly the same as mine when I first saw them on TV 😅 (our father would switch channels whenever he saw them). I'd heard KISS on the radio a lot and their music was great to listen to as a young lad, sitting around a campfire while downing a few beers. Thanks for sharing 👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I'm a hugh fan of Kiss since 1977, I used to dress like the lead singer Paul stanley and the basist Gene simmons in halloween party and I often win the first price of the better costume, the don't revolutionize rock music, but the way to present it on stage, their presence, the roleplay etc, I really like it. Oh by the way you are very beautiful :)
Welcome to the KISS ARMY. If you were around in the 70s, you belonged. Love your reaction and as always that beautiful smile. Please never stop smiling.
KISS is my all time favorite band you have to listen to "BETH" and "LOVE GUN" they are awesome songs but those are just a couple of good ones KISS has tons of great songs!! Glad that you liked this song it made me smile and happy awesome job again beautiful!!
Awesome Channel. Thank you. As a kid I fell in love with Rock 'n' Roll because of this song. I started two bands in the old country and had the Time of My Life. Thank You!
Wow, is exactly right! The transformation from shock to joy was wonderful. They shocked us twice. First was when they showed up with the makeup and second when they took it off. Honored to here for your first KISS. My first was ROCK AND ROLL ALL NIGHT. My favorites are the ballad BETH and DETROIT ROCK CITY. Congratulations on choosing to listen to old people's music.
This song came about with a little challenge between Paul Stanley and the producer of the album. Stanley told the producer writing a disco tune isn't that hard, so the producer took him up on that. Paul got with one of his pals who helps write and he told his friend about the challenge. Well in time the song is produced. Also, this song Gene Simmons cannot stand. When Paul announced that he has this song ready Gene replied this great so what is my part and Paul replies " its Do ah Do do do do" Gene with a rejected look on his face tells Paul. "You are killing me here".
The guy singing with the star on one eye, was Paul Stanley I believe, the girls loved him back in the day haha, great song and memories, I grew up with kiss but wasn't in the Kiss Army, read about the Kiss army it was huge!. I can see in your eyes you like Paul, he is still weaving his magic haha. The guy with the tongue is Gene Simmons his tongue was huge haha.

KISS is a 1970's American Rock/Disco Band. They blended hard rock and disco music with a sound like no other band. They have many rememberable love Balots as well. KISS was the first band to use a face paint and costumes to individually identify each band member and instrument they played. Parents hated them. lol

In the old days, Kiss and Alice Cooper included wild costumes and effects into their shows. It was fun, a novelty while it lasted. 😁🌹🕊️ But as much as they were theatrical, they were also excellent musicians/songwriters.
KISS fan since 1977! songs you should listen to (they've got a TON) (My wife & I had "Forever" in our wedding ceremony '95 btw! ☺) : "Beth" "God of Thunder" "Heavens on Fire" "Love Gun" "Black Diamond (Live)" "Detroit Rock City" "I Love it Loud" SOOOO many great songs! If you can look for videos/songs of there Reunion concerts! a little history on them, KISS has been around since 1973 (I was made for loving you was 1979 in their "Disco" faze) they've had many members over the years (11 in fact) , but Gene Simmons Bass/vocals co-founder(the Demon makeup) & Paul Stanley Guitar/vocals co-founder(StarChild makeup, who sang this) have been the constant. Peter Criss drums/vocals co-founder(the Catman makeup, 1973-1980, 1996- 2001,2002-2004). Ace Frehley Lead Guitar/ vocals co-founder (Space Ace makeup, 1973-1980,1996-2002). Eric Carr Drums/vocals (the Fox, makeup/non-makeup 1980-1991 R.I.P.). Vinny Vincent Lead Guitar/backing vocals. (Ankh warrior, makeup/non/makeup, '82-84). Mark St. John lead guitar/backing vocals ( non-makeup, 1984,). Bruce Kulick lead guitar/backing vocals (non-makeup years, '84-1996) Eric Singer drums/backing vocals( non-makeup 1991-1996-then makeup 2004-present) Tommy Thayer lead/back vocals (makeup 2002-present).🤘😈
Oh but you look so lovely with that hairstyle 😊 A musical track that reminds me again of my childhood with the radio broadcast that was playing on a loop ! Thank you, greetings from France 🙏
Disco Kiss! "I Was Made For Lovin' You" was their last big hit, but it also more or less killed their recording career because it sounded so different from their earlier works and it sounded like so much other late seventies pop that it was easy to write them off as sell outs based on this song. They kept touring and selling out shows and are still touring and selling out shows today, albeit with a couple of new, younger, band members. They'll be in Europe in June and July. They're great in concert. Kiss dropped a live album in 1975 titled Alive! that my buddies and I were still grooving on in 1979. There's a song on it called "Black Diamond" that the band we put together used to jam on in the drummer's garage. Some other classic tunes from them from back when are "Rock And Roll All Nite", "Christine Sixteen", "Calling Dr. Love", "Hard Luck Woman" and "Shout It Out Loud". And for something different, check out Ace Frehley's version of "New York Groove" from 1978.
@@MorenikejiTaiwo I highly recommend listening to "Detroit Rock City" if you wanna know what the "old" KISS were all about. 😉 In my opinion, it's of the best hard rock songs ever written, with not one, but two great guitar solos, super catchy chorus and also quite an interesting backstory to it. 🙂 And "Rock and Roll All Nite" is great as well, their first hit in the US actually.
Gene, the Demon bass(axe) has said often that he hated this song and felt it was not a Kiss song. The singer brought it in and said that he wanted to prove how easy it was to write a disco song
According to the book KISS: Behind the Mask, Paul Stanley wrote this song along with hit songwriter Desmond Child and producer Vini Poncia in an effort to prove how easy it was to write a disco song.
Oh god where do I begin. Okay first you guys are gonna be really jealous of me. I saw Kiss back in 73 in Nassau Coloseum. Their opening band were these new kids just starting out. Judas Priest! That wS the Destroyer concert. I still have hearing loss in my left ear from that concert thats how loud it was. Ok so real reason for my comment. Watching these girls watch this song for the first time is so amazing. This woman is like on her first date and a total virgin. Then Paul get all her juices flowing and she doesnt no how to control those bad thoughts going round and round in her pretty little head but her smile begins to grow bigger and bigger as paul is owning her. Just awesome to watch these reactions!
I saw KISS on this Dynasty tour. It was the beginning of the end for the "hottest band in the world." I was 8 or 9 and it was the greatest thing ever when I was that old. I can't remember the last time I listened to them though.
you are a laugh riot!! thanks for your honesty and energy!!! We were made for loving YOU!! ... so, you love the bridge of the tune where singer PAUL STANLEY goes up that high? ...your fans may be interested to know that this is often what is called a 'falsetto' [falˈsetto], the Italian diminutive of falso or "false" ... the vocal register occupying the frequency range just above the modal voice register and overlapping with it by approximately one octave. It is produced by the vibration of the ligamentous edges of the vocal cords, in whole or in part. Commonly cited in the context of singing, falsetto, a characteristic of phonation by both sexes, is also one of four main spoken vocal registers recognized by speech pathology. The term falsetto is most often used in the context of singing to refer to a type of vocal phonation that enables the singer to sing notes beyond the vocal range of the normal or modal voice .. you rock!!
Kiss started out as wicked Lester ,with two different members ,later on ,peter criss(drummer) and ace frehley (solo guitar) player joined the band and formed kiss ,peter criss was replaced by Eric Carr, who died on the same day as Freddy Mercury from queen. Ace frehley was replaced by vinni Vincent ,later on replaced by Mark St John who died of writers syndrome. His spot was taken by Bruce kulick who played with kiss for a long time ,eric Carr ,was replaced by Eric singer ,who played in big bands like Alice Cooper and many more, around 1996 kiss did a unplugged session on mtv, with the original band members and the new members without make -up.What turned out to become the reunion tour, with the four original four members ,around 1999 the cracks in the band began again ,and soon peter left and Eric singer was called on again to take a seat behind the drums ,with the make up of the original drummer.Later on ace left ,and was replaced by Tommy theater, who was already with kiss for many years ,but in the back ground as a producer ,making video clips for kiss ,and as a fact,it was Tommy thayer, who had to learn ace frehley all the original songs for the reunion tour, ace forgot most of them.Tommy replaced ace ,until now and until the last show this year ,listen to more good songs from kiss ,like rock n roll all night ,nothing to loose, shout it out loud ,forever, talk to me ,tossin and turnin, hope you enjoy it .
This song was KISS's foray into disco, or KISSco if you want, and with the exception of their ballads was the lightest that KISS went.
good timessss😄👏👏👏
@@MorenikejiTaiwo KISS - God of Thunder - now thats a good time
Kiss, Detroit Rock City
@@yourkiwimate Dear God yes!! Very heavy but an awesome tune.
@@bhalstead6313 The first KISS song that I ever heard. My older cousin was babysitting us in 1977 and played that for us. If my mom had known she would have gone postal. Thank you cousin Lesa.
I was a young 22 year old when this came out. Brings back a lot of memories.
I appreciate the detailed info!🙏
❤️. Thank you!😊
@@MorenikejiTaiwo you ain’t seen nothing yet. Hehehehe
@@j.woodbury412 plus Genes mom is a holocaust survivor.
@@davidtingley9978 Oh wow! I was not aware of that.
I never took Kiss too seriously, but I can't deny they rock! And, I have to say, Paul Stanley can sing!
Paul could sing very well in 1979. But today, his voice has been going downhill. I guess that's what to expect from 50 years on the road, playing in front of packed arenas. He's still my second favorite front man of all time, behind Freddie Mercury.
Went to their concert in the 70s..... great concert. I was deaf for 3 days and wasn't that close to the speakers. haha. About the 13th row. Worth it.
Wow i just noticed ! More then 54k followers ! 😎
Another smile on my face because of you !
KISS great rock band !
Aww, this means so much!
Thank you!🥹❤️❤️
And the KISS Army claims another soul lol.
Heard this song a million times and I still had to watch it till the end 🙂
One of my favorite KISS songs. Your hair looks amazing too.)
Thank you!!❤️
I Love this band
I seen the original lineup in concert at least 4 times.
Peter Criss is Awesome in this vid, He's so cool, totally.!
KISS set the stage for many bands, and took them out on their first tour. You should be amazed by them, and the following they have to this day.
This is absolutely one of the best rock and roll bands that ever existed. Your reaction was pretty much the same as mine when I first heard this song when it hit the charts.
They had one of the best stage shows ever.... their music made the trip through the Disco years and out the other end....
pure guitar energy.
Saw them first in 78 and lastly August of 2022 and their delivery was still A+. Pure entertainment. Thanks for sharing and stay safe.
Hello Mo! Thank you again for another entertaining and honest reaction. As always, your beautiful face tells the story and it does not lie...
Thank you so much!!
Absolutely.. you know you're my favorite baby girl!! ❤️❤️❤️
going to a concert with them on Saturday 15 July 2023. Looking forward to it. Greetings from Norway. 😀
I saw them perform live and they are the best live rock show on the planet 🤘
Each one of the band members had their own persona
Gene Simmons as the demon... Bass player
Paul Stanley. The Starman. Lead vocals and guitar
Peter Criss. The Catman. Drummer.
Ace Frehley. The Spaceman. Guitar and vocals
Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley have been with the group since its start in 1973.
Do a RUclips search for the following
Kiss rock am ring Lick it up (fire and pyrotechnics sample.)
Kiss rock am ring Detroit Rock City ( lightshow and pyrotechnics)
Kiss rock am ring Firehouse ( Gene Simmons spits fire)
Hope this helps and keep up the great music revealing! :-)
My first live concert ever was KISS. It was the UNMASKED tour. Supporting act was
IRON MAIDEN. what a concert!
I didn’t see Gene Simmons character coming.😂😂😂
Glad you found it relatable!❤️
I'm a hugh fan of Kiss since 1977, I used to dress like the lead singer Paul stanley and the basist Gene simmons in halloween party and I often win the first price of the better costume, the don't revolutionize rock music, but the way to present it on stage, their presence, the roleplay etc, I really like it. Oh by the way you are very beautiful :)
Over 40 years since I saw them live in the UK.
Amazing show..
Inigualables unicos e irrepetibles KISS❤❤❤
Yup! I feel you Morenikeji! I am a huge KISS fan!! TY!!
MORE KISS!! You WILL LOVE them!!
Welcome to the KISS ARMY. If you were around in the 70s, you belonged. Love your reaction and as always that beautiful smile. Please never stop smiling.
Yayyy!
Thanks a lot.🙏😍
Always an entertaining band. Glad you finally got around to them.
I always like see your smile when KIZZ say " Cause girl, I was made for you
And girl, you were made for me
So nice smile .. ❤️❤️🇲🇨🇲🇨👍👍
KISSはヤバい、俺もこの曲でハマった。
破壊力抜群👍
The best rock group EVER!!!
Powerful band the energy everything is perfect one of my all time favourite band
I have no idea how you’ve never heard of KISS before, but I’m damn glad you have now.

KISS is a 1970's American Rock/Disco Band. They blended hard rock and disco music with a sound like no other band. They have many rememberable love Balots as well. KISS was the first band to use a face paint and costumes to individually identify each band member and instrument they played. Parents hated them. lol

Love it!💗
In the old days, Kiss and Alice Cooper included wild costumes and effects into their shows. It was fun, a novelty while it lasted. 😁🌹🕊️ But as much as they were theatrical, they were also excellent musicians/songwriters.

It's possibly the best love song ever.
One of my favourite bands. My grandkids have a t-shirt I gave them. My daughter said they already have one because of me.😊
This is the band that defined the phrase, "Over the Top".

Oh but you look so lovely with that hairstyle 😊
A musical track that reminds me again of my childhood with the radio broadcast that was playing on a loop !
Thank you, greetings from France 🙏
Thank you so much 😀❤️
I need to take a listen to one of their older songs before this. Cos I’m surprised this was less liked.😮
I saw them in the late 1980s. They put on a great show.
The term falsetto is most often used in the context of singing to refer to a type of vocal phonation that enables the singer to sing notes beyond the vocal range of the normal or modal voice .. you rock!!
My first 45 rpm record was this song. Had large collection but this was first I chose on my own. Mom had to buy cause I was little.
Kiss is a great fun band.
This song was KISS' response to the disco craze that was prevalent at the time. This era of the band was NEVER seen, publicly, without makeup.
A life long kiss fan
I was just 15 years old when this hit the airwaves back in 1979..One of my favorites next to "Beth"by far, even bought the original album (Dynasty) too back then and it's still in mint condition.. Love it now just as much as I did back then..Miss the 70's great time too live.. 🎸🎶🎤🥁🤘👍😁
KISS - I WAS MADE FOR LOVIN' YOU (Released in 1979) was one of their Legendary Hits in the late 1970's **Let's Rock**
and yet it is predominantly disco and was least popular with KISS die hard fans and subsequently were criticized for allegedly 'selling out to disco' ...
Your reaction is between extasy and fear... awesome!!
Paul Stanley....The singer in this video....was the Phantom of the Opera for quite a Few Months in the 2000s.
The crazy thing was they went almost 10 years, during the height of their popularity, without the public knowing what they actually looked like.
