I can say 2 years after use, the battery does take some wear coming down to about 4.5 hours total use time. It does sound like doo doo without the Dolby atmos subscription. So be aware after 2 years you will have to pay between 12 and 14 bucks a month to continue getting high quality sound. Also the mice sounds way better if you add a pop filter and raise the gain.

For 99$ it seems the best to buy for windows/xbox users is the Microsoft official Xbox wireless headset. Build quality is okay but the sound is perfect.
Good headset, but pretty hard to find one not refurbished. Amazon and GameStop are sending out refurbished ones when myself and others are hitting the “new” option. Bought 2 and they both stopped working within 2 weeks of delivery.
@@emiliolopez2280 well alot of things are happening in the chip world right now. Personally I'd grab an Xbox or ps5 and use that for now until the marker and the manufacturing issues calm down. Maybe end of year? Maybe next year? But until then consoles are much easier to get, and will offer you similar performance to the pc your gonna be paying 1200$ for. Only thing I can think of that would offer a better experience is if you can find a 1080ti machine used on marketplace for under your budget. At that point, id go for that. But anything less than a 1080ti and slightly older i7 I'd just pass and stick with the console for now.
I bought an Astro A40 TR headset for Xbox and tried using Dolby Atmos and it fucked my headset up completely. Even after reverting the settings back to default and deleting the app, it was still not working properly. DON’T USE DOLBY ATMOS ON XBOX

They're on sale for $60 at gamestop for the holidays ! I got 2 pairs, 1 for my xbox and the other for my Playstation. Definitely worth every penny!
