Hey Tom, buddy I purchased a 70th anniversary Esquire 2 weeks ago.
That pine body is full of resonance. Mine is a blonde white. Best Guitar I've ever had. A true jewel and I recommend you purchase one. You would be highly pleased.
2020 built. Might take some effort to locate one. The perfect Guitar I promise.
