Just subscribed... watched this for the first time on the very day that I put down a deposit on a 2018 DB11. There are many DB11 reviews out there but this quickly became my favourite. Your heartfelt enthusiasm, smiles and laughter are priceless! 🥰
Congratulations!!!!! 😁😁😁😁 what spec did you get?! When do you pic up??
Hi! Thanx ... before the end of April... all being well It's pretty standard but it has something called a Black pack... which confuses me coz it's actually pearl white 🤪 - a V12... I love the way it howls... and so comfortable... @@annie650s
@@annie650s hi Annie, thanx... it's a pretty "standard" V12", with something called a "Black Pack"... which is kinda confusing coz it's pearl white 🤪 - all being well I can collect around 25th April...
During this video the DB11 depreciated by 10k.
Took an hour for the startup gooseflesh to subside!
Annoyingly I don't think it does it any justice either! 😬😬
My little advice for you is to change your thumbnails. Make them more professional. You can look at other channels for opinions. This is just my advice. Good channel, I hope for the best you
Thanks! 😁
I like the thumb nails, tired of all the pretentious repetitive posing, very refreshing!@@annie650s
This is not a DB11 V12 AMR. This is a 2016/17 Launch Edition car with an AMR software update, which came with a new under bonnet badge.
The actual DB11 AMR, which was released in 2019, is a good deal sportier looking, lighter and a bit stiffer.
It's the AMR upgrade with 630hp so not the standard car, as mentioned. 😊
@@annie650s Yes, this car has an aftermarket AMR software update which is available from dealers for about £1,000. It delivers an extra 30bhp at 6,500 - 7,000 rpm, re-calibrates the dampers, exhaust and gearbox, but despite all this, it is still known as a DB11 V12 Launch Edition.
The DB11 V12 AMR in your title is a totally different car. It was was produced by AM in response to criticisms that these earlier cars were too heavy and too softly sprung. It comes with different suspension hardware, interior, wheels etc and was hailed by journalists. ☺
Title changed to make it clearer 😁 thanks!
I don’t think the AMR and the V12 AMR upgrade are “totally different cars”. Apart from very subtle differences they essentially the same car. I e had the upgrade done to mines and looks the same as a production AMR part from the wheels. I’m assuming you’ve driven both??
@@wilsonkane I also have a V12 and have had the AMR software upgrade completed. Extra pops and crackles in Sport and Sport+, but the power advantage is hardly noticeable.
I have a set of lightweight AMR wheels on order (14kg unsprung weight saving) as I'm hoping to get a little closer to the sharper experience I had of a weekend with a bona fida AMR.
