Great honest review! Really loved the honesty about the RS5 and most Audi's not being that fun to drive. I've driven quite a few, including the new RS3, and I have to agree. They seem like brilliant road cars with unbelievable (supercar beating) pace and its interesting to hear you feel the same. Depreciation is always what has put me off Audi's but your sport back is a brilliant one car fits all with just as much practicality as the more expensive RS6 in my opinion (plus better looks). You can't really go wrong with Nardo grey either and I am happy it suits exactly what you are after as a daily with a more fun Lotus on the side 👍
Great video...I have a really strange question..the uk has a fair bit of low Mileage RS5s.. the prices are not too bad either considering...is this because of tax savings with electric now? ..just an interesting point I noted...I just bought mine out of the uk...2022 carbon black (8k miles)..
I only have the Lotus and RS5 currently. The Lotus replaced the Mclaren. But to answer your question, I 'fix' businesses, operationally. So if they're running inefficiently, or losing money or even just want to sell for as much money as possible down the line, I get them as efficient and profitable as possible :)
@@annie650s Lean consultant? I had a mate who does that... no quals just worked as a mcdonalds server for 2 decades then straight into lean consultation...can't really get my head around how you can jump from mcdonalds cashier to that but hey... it's working for him!
Its depreciation is bad, but not that much more than the other Germans. The issue sounds like you bought the car when everything was marked up too high. You should not have paid that much for that spec of car. Don't get me wrong, I love the RS5, I have a competition version, but you paid too much from used cars being FAR too much. When I was looking to get mine, a 6 month old car was 10-30K more money than a brand new one.

Rs5 biggest disappointing “performance” car I’ve ever drove & way behind the competition & no wonder they depreciate so heavily. Boring numb & absolutely zero character but yet again Audi are well known to make under uninspiring drab cars with shocking understeer & there rs range are no exception.
I wouldn't really class it as a performance car, personally. Compared to the BMW it's no competition in terms of fun and engagement, but I prefer the interior and styling of the Audi, which is why I got it. As I said in the video, if it was my only car I'd have got the BMW 100%!
@@annie650s agreed a bmw is twice the car in terms of driving dynamics & fun . I would never have another Audi on the street as there the most boring drab cars I’ve probably ever owned . So overrated & usually hyped up from people who hasn’t a clue about cars . Even new rs6 is 🥱🥱🥱 There whole q range from q1 to q8 is miles behind the competition. Drab expensive crap cars for drab boring drivers
