    Thanks! I don't have a skate spinner, but am working on the camel spin. Can you do a video on working on this spin on the ice? I'm struggling most with what I need to do with my leading arm (in my case, my right, as I'm a clockwise skater), so that I can hit that camel position easier.

    Hello, and thanks for the video !
    Is it possible to do sit spins with a spinner ?
    If so, could you do a video to learn it off ice ?

    Hi, Can you teach us more spin movements using the spinner . In the UK the gyms are still closed and I’ve been practising using the spinner . I love your vids so informative

      Hey, glad to know that people are still looking for off ice spin tutorials. I would be happy to make more. Any spins in particular that you would like to see?

    I don’t know why but I always go into a illusion when I do this and I can’t stay in the camel I just stay for like half a rotation and then I go down and up

    Hi, I really love these spin tutorials but do you have any suggestions other than using an off ice spinner? Ty

    • @CoachJulia
      @CoachJulia  4 года назад +2

      Feodora T Hey! What kind of suggestions are you looking for? I have quite a few other skating tutorials, and once my rink opens up I will be making more on-ice tutorials again as well.

      Hi, I’m not actually a skater but I’ve been interested in skating but the rink were all close :( , i meant do you have other spinner or tool suggestions other than using an off ice spinner? Thank you

      Feodora T oh! Whilst you wait u can get inline skates. Then when the rinks open you can fix a blade onto ur original boot that u used for the inlines. The brands available are off ice, pic, snow whites, Snyder, G.H off ice and roll line linea (there are more but those I’ve heard of and seen used)

      Chelsea Hutt Absolutely! A lot of the skills will transfer, when using a spinner.

      I will get to skate this week for the first time in over 9 months. No jumping yet, but still so exciting. I hope you recover quickly.

    Looks more like a bird than camel

    • @CoachJulia
      @CoachJulia  3 года назад +1

      It does! I have no idea where the name camel came from. This spin was originally called the 'Parallel' spin as your body rotated parallel to the ice. Now that name makes some sense.

      @@CoachJulia Can you imagine a camel on the ice doing the spin ? - Guess that would be similar to how i'm doing it ;)
