Hello from the great white north just became the owner of a 99 suburban with the 6.2 Detroit diesel its a1500 but has 2500 everything under neath 14 bolt 8 bolt lug. My main problem is the 4x4 iv gone through all the wiring and all parts are new but cant get it to work new switch as well and all fuses are good and have done all new grounds what am I missing. By the way love these trucks I also have a 97 Tahoe with 5.7. Love the vids
I'm a long time fan of your work, and you've gotten so much more comfortable speaking on camera! Great build! If my memory serves me correctly, you number each rig... what number are you up to now? Thanks, Casey - Oklahoma
Which Flowmaster exhaust did you use on this build? It sounds good! I'm thinking of using a Flowmaster as well on my Yukon Denali XL. As always, another great build!
@@stevelucero9047 My 2005 Suboverland has LT285/70R17 Wildpeaks. They're badass. I think they did a 2" lift on mine--which is their standard, from what I understand. Mine is a half-ton, though.
@@stevelucero9047 Idk for sure, but they look stock to me. Only Grady and Gus would be able to answer that, and I didn't ask them. Lol. You can check out my rig on my channel. I'm building it out myself, too. I bought the base Suboverland. The tires are so big that they rub on the wheel wells when I turn a hard corner. Gus told me I can cut those off at an angle since they're plastic but I don't know what tool I should use (and again I didn't ask). Maybe a jigsaw or saws-all would work? I actually wish that was a modification that was done by Suboverland so I wouldn't have to worry about it. Lol.
And I just thought my Suboverland sounded like a beast when you start it. Lol. I would love to have that Flowmaster.
Nice!
Best platform there is for a overland vehicle! Nice job Grady, looking forward to seeing the video of the new generator.
Thanks!
you have the best suburban builds. simple and not overwhelming and crazy.
Thanks!

Nice!
Well done!
Thanks!
Great job
Thanks!
I'd love to have that setup. I'm currently working on an 02 1/2ton, 2in billstien kit in the mail shortly.
Nice!
@@suboverland thanks, man.

We are building in the 140's now.
No T_keys? lift? Are those stock 16 X 6.5 rims? _Exhaust sounds sick!_
Thanks! Yes stock wheels.
Love it! Great rig. I'm curious how big of a deal it would be to get something like this to pass California emissions?
Thanks! We've had a bunch of clients from California. I don't think it's a big process.

It's a 70 series
Does the roof vent fan run off of the vehicle battery or the Delta battery pack? Does the solar also charge the vehicle battery as well?
The roof ran runs off the Delta pack. The solar panel just charges the Delta.
What size tires and lift are on this one?
I did a PS snap & blowup... looks like LT285/75R16. I didn't know you could fit that on a 16 X 6.5 wheel...
@@stevelucero9047 I was trying the same. I figured that was the size. Mostly interested in lift amount
