Nice build.
Replacing old the rubber door seals no felt window desk makes those trucks whisper quite on the open road .
Well worth the couple hundred bucks.
I like the solar panels above the front cab with the rack on the back and a van ladder on the rear passenger side

Interested in the roof-rack setup. Ive mentioned my '88 before: 3/4 with manual and smooth running 5.7. Hope to build it out some more this summer.

Looks great. Love the body on these year models. Body lines on the new ones look somewhat? similar. Havnt done a side by side but seem similar.

What treatment did you do for the paint restore? I've got original (so oxidized and patina-ed and messy) red paint on my 90 and have been looking at treating it with linseed oil/mineral spirits instead of a clear coat, but would love to know what you did! Another incredible build, y'all.
Beautiful rug! It's a little too low to the ground, how much lift is available for these trucks? I'm very interested in building my own, how high can I lift mine and how big of a wheel tire combo can I get away with?
They have a bunch of options for lifts.

Grady we have a 1994 k1500 I want to restore here in PA. It has enough frame rust that I would like a new frame to start with. Can you source a fairly rust free one to be freighted?
What kind of shocks did you upgrade to? I picked up a 1988 Suburban Sierra Classic V2500 and shock replacement seems fairly simple on this 4x4. Thanks
I use KYB Gas adjust on most square body stuff.

What is the bed length if you leave the rear seat up?? Is there a lift on this one??
