Best value for your hard earned coins, 1.2L 3cylinder Turbo has been in the Chevy Trailblazer since 2020 and NO major issues and GM 6 speed auto shifts well and is smooth. Hard plastics are present, but remember folks this is a 20K USD/21K CDN MSRP cant complaint.......
The rough ride you complained about, some of it can be contributed to the 19-in wheels. Most of it is probably due to the 45 PSI that's in the tires from the factory. The trax is shipped from the factory with over-inflated tire, something to do with shipping. I don't know if it's to avoid flat spots on the tires or what, there is some literature out about it! The dealership is supposed to check this during pre-delivery inspection, unfortunately most don't! My 2024 activ came with 45 PSI in each tire, my dealership missed it during the PDI inspection. You can change the odometer screen, there's three different screens. You accomplished this by pushing in on the scroll wheel right side of the steering wheel! 😊
You can change the gauge screen to different looking ones. Press and hold the scroll wheel on the right on the steering wheel for 3 seconds. A menu with option to pick from will pop up.
@@WildDisease72 Nice. How are you liking the Trax? I got rid of it personally. I traded it in for 2024 Nissan Sentra SV Premium. I kept having problems with the Trax for the 9 months I had it. Maybe I got a bad one.
I have not driven one yet but I just think that I would really enjoy it. I haven’t owned a GM car since my 1981 Oldsmobile. I have driven Toyota’s and Honda’s since 1987. If this were not built in Korea I probably wouldn’t be interested. The front wheel drive is not a dealbreaker for me. I’m retired and don’t go anywhere in snowy weather.
I will say I was second guessing myself on considering a Trax w/o AWD, but I grew up with RWD/FWD and most of my vehicles have been so. That said snow tires can do wonders and I did use them for a couple years, but for the worst winters I've gone through I never had them and did just fine. That said, I'm debating on that yellow color. I kind of like it. I'm hoping to trade-in my '23 Ford by the end of summer and planning on the Trax as I can also use the GM friends and Family plan on my purchase. It doesn't bother me it's not as fast as what I have now; it's as efficient, looks sporty, looks fun to drive, offers good practicality, and is definitely more affordable. The engine sounds rather pleasant in all the videos I've watched too. I sat in one this weekend and found the seating slightly more supportive, if but a touch firm, very adjustable, and my knee isn't sitting against the corner or the lower dash extension for the HVAC.
Nice vehicle, it's on my list to look at, not very many in dealer inventory yet. I wouldn't worry about not having 4wd, unless you live in Alaska you really don't need it, just added weight and expense. I live in the snow belt and rarely if ever, use 4wd.
This and the Envista are just fine with front wheel drive. Why everything has to be 4WD or AWD I don't understand. I guess it is because people cannot drive anymore.
@@Pushplar Most of my vehicles have been FWD and most of that time I drove with regular all-season tires; even in snow in excess of two feet. BTW, I live just outside of Buffalo, NY. People simply don't know how to drive anymore, and too many others are too distracted to pay attention to what they're doing.
The engine for Chevy Trax is 100% made in China. So much for buying America! The inside is nothing but hard plastic. People are having problems with windows and back up camera and the middle screen.

Yes but tbh that default is the best to me

I have a 2RS and i love it.
I am interested in this because it does not have A CVT. This and Mazda 3 are on my list
I believe that you are incorrect on the dash. It is configurable to 3 different looks.

its mainly useful if you live in a place with a lot of snow

Shoes match car
Yet another error! The backseat has both usb and C charging not ports! He indicated 2 usb! Ugg
This drives me crazy! Another person reviewing a car and with miss information. Do your homework man! Know the car.
So then start your own you tube reviews.

The engines are actually made in Mexico!
Ugly wheels...a deal breaker for me.
