I am old enough to remember Tom Jones when this song was first released by him. What a legend he has become, but what a dreamboat he was for all the ladies back then! I'm happy to watch you two react to our older musical numbers sung by such wonderful singers from the past. By the way, Tom Jones is still alive in his 80's and still singing. This recording was done in the 1960's, not the 90's.

This is not his story. The song was written for him by Lonny Donegan. Sir Tom Jones is 82 now and his voice is the same. As a judge on The Voice UK, in a Blind Audition, he got Peter Donegan (Lonny's son). He sings this song in the below clip:
