they should make these kids ask questions WITHOUT their phones, that would be interesting
If they did, they would all be stuttering like Joe Biden at the debate.
😂😂😂😂😂😂spot on@@garygemmell3488
I dont think they would be able to do it.
These are the same people who wanted us to get rid of paper bags and go to plastic ??? They know nothing.
The amazing irony of an African dude criticizing climate change is pretty cool. Africa is always a default “victim” of climate change. Much love dude
Amen
seems like only the Africans possess common sense -- my respect to you all
My sentiments exactly. Love this guy! Whoever he is.
It isn't ironic its actually really sad because they're a victim either way. If they abuse the environment they will be bullied by the rest of the world, if they don't they will remain a third world country, and ontop of that with geographical location they suffer more than other countries with the change in climate. Africa is just in an unfortunate position where they didn't abuse the environment and industrialize fast enough.
These children that are barely taking their first breath need to stop talking On behalf of their professors….
It’s shameful
Meanwhile, he's holding a phone made with a battery.
He doesn't have an answer, nor does he want one. He just likes posturing and virtue-signalling.
Stopped him cold with the question about where do we get cobalt to make the batteries? WOW, did he run away fast.
The IMF as a source for reliable info? 🤣
Why do people confuse tax-breaks with subsidies?
He is not wondering. He is "wandering."
What is the largest renewable fuel source on earth? Fossil fuels. They renew every day.
I love your logic. Can you explain it further please? How does oil and coal renew? We need more of this thinking to be factual.
@@forestdweller5581 plankton and plants decomposing. Its technically renewable but not fast enough to power the world still obviously. I think the commentor was joking
@@forestdweller5581 what creates fossil fuels? What creates the thing that creates the fossil fuels?
@@wittyjoker4631God created everything we need. Fossil fuels is a deception, dinosaurs are fictional. Oil is the Earth's blood and just like our blood, it's regenerative. There won't ever be a shortage of it. If everyone could open their third eye and see the fictional world created by the evil entity isn't reality. Most everything we have been programmed with is a lie. It's time we all rise up, expose the liars, exist the matrix and moved back into God's glorious creation #FREEDOME ❤🙏🇨🇦🍒
This is why I don't hire kids right out of college.
You are here on RUclips to complain about college kids, yet somehow you run a business? I highly doubt that? Shouldn’t you be too busy to be here complaining
@@jakefromstatefarm142 I'm not complaining. It's a business decision that has increased my production and made a better work environment for my employees. I work almost 16 hours a day. I've found some distraction is useful. Convincing the moderates that voting with conservatives is their best bet is fun. Talking to people like you is boring. Democrats can't debate issues so like you they try and discredit the messenger. Pathetic.
I run a business, and somehow amazingly have time to watch videos on my phone occasionally. WOOOWEEEEE I can tell you don't run a business, must've struck a nerve lmao 😂@@jakefromstatefarm142

Nuclear power is the cleanest, safest, most efficient form of energy. China is building 23 reactors today.
How many victims of nuclear accidents do you think agree with that?
@@forestdweller5581Do you understand your question isn’t a counterpoint to the factual statement? I’m genuinely curious.
@@forestdweller5581how many iron workers that died from molten metal think metal is a good idea?
How many people who have died from a lathe think industial machines are a good idea? How many who died by fire think cooking is a good idea. You're an idiot arent you?
@FuhqEwe
So Kirk is worried about battery disposal....what is your take on radioactive waste disposal??
And as far as the other guy's comment...you know what he meant.
Nuclear power is safe and clean.....until it isn't.
@@johnpeters9793 Are you arguing that nuclear power is not the cleanest, safest, most efficient form of energy that we have available?
If so, then tell me what is cleaner, safer, more efficient, that we currently have access to, and provide the citation for it.
Anything else is an irrelevant non-sequitur and a waste of time.
If you concede that it is the cleanest, safest, and most efficient at this time, then your response is pointless.
Host of this clip, I don't know who you are but you are amazing. I do hope you keep this up and that we hear more from you.!!!! Keep up the good work!
😂 Thanks for sharing! That was a BRUTAL spanking...lol😅.❤😊
The student raising his hands because he thought he won the argument shows he was doing it for himself
There have been studies about Bigfoot too.
Thanks for the updates
"Where do we get the cobalt required to make the batteries." *Crickets*
"How do we dispose of the incredibly toxic batteries with a lifespan of under 10 years." that's a strawman question, because it doesn't agree with my argument!
Seriously, creation always has a production, manufacturing, and resource cost. If he can't even understand that, he's got no buisiness debating Charlie.
The conditions should include no cell phone usage to ask google. If you have a question, then do your homework ahead of time.
He doesn't even realize that the green energy companies are owned by the oil companies lol
tesla needs new battery after 7-8 years $15,000 and the whole car is a piece of junk in 12 years.
WHY do we jump off the cliff, with an "answer" before we weigh the options?
That's why I bought a nice used V8 Cadillac for $5K US, runs perfectly (2 years now). The car was so cheap I don't worry much about gas prices.
Environmentalist IS FULL OF BS
Not all and not always. There are many honest ones that care about nature and want what's best for it, nothing wrong with that. We do pollute a lot - take for example the huge amounts of plastics in the oceans that kill many species, that's something we should try to reduce, no? However, the climate people simply do not know facts, and don't want to talk about things like energy required to produce electric batteries/cars, or rare earth magnets.
Just how much can WE change Global Warming?
Let’s do the calculations!
Have you ever asked, “How much global warming has there been since the START of the industrial revolution?"
Ask Google, Ans from NOAA: “1°C since 1750? So how much change is that a year in °F 1.8F/272 years = 0.0066°F /year
How much is actually caused by the USA?
OK let's ask Google, Ans: 27%
So the USA has caused (27%) * .0066° /year or .0017° F /year.
Have you ever asked what is the half-life of CO2 in the atmosphere? Ans: 120 years
WOW!! By using NOAA’s historical records after reaching NETZERO in the USA, the MAXIMUM change expected in global warming is -.0017°F /year
And it will take an additional 120 years to realize an actual reduction of -.00085 °F
Now Ask: what's the cost to reach NETZERO? Ans: $4 trillion a year for the next 30 years or $120 trillion.
How did you go to the club???? Elec or gas. You still used fossil fuel
The earth and Mars temperatures have been rising same , degree for degree so how is this man caused?
That's interesting, where can I find more on that?
I have no problem supporting the research to find batteries that don't use cobalt or other dangerous or rare ingredients. But subsidizing companies to actually build inferior products will only lead to failure.
Have you ever asked have weather station thermometers ever been calibrated?
Temperature cycles in the glass bulb of a thermometer harden the glass and shrink over time, a 10 yr old -20 to +50c thermometer will give a false high reading of around 0.7c
that was a "drop Mike get out of there moment" 😂
Cudos for using an before an h!
That guy's name is Gob Ling 😂
Charlie Kirk debate someone older than 19 challenge - impossible
He literally does that all the time.
Too much human activity. Activate the Soylent Green machines!
The answer is Congo but there non-cobalt based batteries are catching up - and you can treat the environmental damage causes to mine the cobalt to be one off as the batteries could be recycled (although not at 100% efficiency but am sure humans will be able to develop the technology to be more efficient over time)
Charlie actually did a shit job with this "debate", and that's coming from someone who does not believe fossil fuels and emissions by humans are are ruining our environment
How so?
EVERY DAY.
Love you Kirk!
This kid's mother tells him that he is the bestest and smartest boy in the world and he believes it. I'm struggling to understand the commentator here and it bugs the hell out of me..
The ? Is were do they get the cobalt and how do the get the cobalt its the next generation from 3rd world countries 🤔
Have you ever asked what is the half-life of CO2 in the atmosphere? Ans: 120 years
viva Charlie::-)
How about blacktop, solar panels are black which builds heat and what about evolution.
@4:20 It seems to me that people interested in the climate change would be interested in what Carl Segan informed Congress what his thoughts were back in 1985. Well, at least the one that can comprehend what he has to say about it. Good luck with that.

A quick search shows lithium batteries are very recyclable...../shrugs.
What? You are not living in real world. How many cell phones are disposed each year? How many pieces of those disposed cell phone lithium batteries are recycled?
It must have been a very brief "search" ....no, they are not.
Lithium is literally a non-renewable material.

Please specify any actual evidence that confirms this kid's claims to be fact. Its so easy to desrtoy college kids
no dude it is not a mining question it is a completely relevant question because to do more wind and solar you need batteries. because wind and solar only produce direct current. while fossil fueled turbines produce alternating current. to make use of increased wind and solar you MUST have more battery storage capacity! this is basic energy production 101! you are the one who can't answer questions!
Most wind turbines actually produce AC. They are insanely expensive however and require a lot of energy (to produce the materials from which they are made, and then to make them) and take few years to pay for themselves.
