The current younger generation has been indoctrinated from the time they were in elementary school. That's why so many parents are going to school board meetings and demanding that the schools remove C-R-T, identity politics and anti-American propaganda from their curriculum. It started in colleges and universities, but over the last decade or so, it's crept it's way into high schools, then middle schools and now elementary school. The powers that be are working to take Western society down from the inside and because we never suspected it, they've made significant headway.
Black lives matter, but so do every other person in this world. So all life matters.

So this was my thinking before I took the time to understand it. It really, really should be called “Black Lives Matter Too” but leaving that too out has caused massive backlash as everyone reverts to the “All lives matter” comeback and miss the true point of the message. Add the “too” and it makes more sense.
Black lives will matter a lot more to everybody when black people stop killing each other at higher rates than anybody else kills them while blaming everybody else for the deaths of black people.
Some black lives matter more than others.
For example:
Black on black murder; doesn't matter.
White on black murder; matters.

My two siblings and I grew up out in the countryside in a neighborhood that was ALL mobile homes and went to the public schools with the lowest income kids/families. All three of us are now living very comfortable upper middle class lives now…to the point that I have been able to retire at 45. Thats clearly a capitalist state.
My sister is a VP of a division of Citibank and my brother is the GM of a Restaurant/Bar/Marina/Hotel…again, all from a mobile home community.

Your on the right track, but there is a huge benefit to trading with other countries. The key is to require what economists call a "Balance of Trade". Meaning the value of all the goods imported into a country equals the total value of goods that a country exports to other countries. IOWs a "Balance of Trade". This results in lower total costs for goods that would not occur without trading. The problem is the US doesn't do that. It's continually running huge trade deficits with its trading partners. Which is beneficial to those other countries, but completely detrimental to this country. Without getting too deep into economics, this can easily be achieved by allowing each countries currencies to freely float. Allowing currencies to float against each other via market forces without goverment manipulation would prevent trade deficits from occurring automatically.

@@Hawkcam1996 If you build more products in America, does that not tend to reduce trade with other countries? Since the intent would be to use those products in America primarily. Not many other countries will purchase American made products priced much higher than other countries can produce those same products. So wouldn't shifting back to American made products have the effect of reducing America's trade deficits? Which is certainly needed BTW. But just so you know, those American made goods are going to cost significantly more to make here than overseas. Are you prepared to pay significantly more money for American made products you currently purchase from other countries for much less? Most Americans aren't. They are already complaining about significant inflation. Americans are in no way prepared to pay even higher prices? Ergo the trade deficits will continue and America's wealth will continue to be stripped away until it is forced to do change due to economic force.

No, it doesn’t. Because then we *export* instead of mainly importing. Trade is a two-way deal, buddy. This is how the US used to handle trade, by primarily exporting. But over time, we shifted from being an exporting country to an importing country. Not because it was better for our country. But because companies realized they could get cheaper labor overseas. That’s a big part of why our economy has been going downhill for decades. A country can’t survive if its people don’t have jobs because all the labor is in _other_ countries. You want to know why the poverty rate is so high? Because people can’t get jobs due to so many jobs not being _here._ Inflation is not a factor if people actually have jobs. Having jobs here would not increase prices. That’s a ridiculous argument with no merit. The value of the dollar has *fallen* due to government overspending, not because of non-existent American jobs. And why would other countries not buy American made products? They did *before.*

Everything Charlie said was spot on, but it's concerning he said he thought it was a wonderful thing that people burn alive in Asia to make his clothes? I repeated that just to make sure that's what I heard and it looks as if he agreed that he thought it was wonderful. I have to disagree. People making those clothes are practically in slavery because they only make like a few dollars a day vs what Americans would make here. It's not good for them nor is it safe. It would also give Americans more job opportunities if they made the clothes in the U.S.
