Fantastic flavor. I made this today. I've never had a cake turn out so well. Light and fluffy, perfect balance of sweet and tart and the lemon and raspberry are perfectly complimentary. Since I'm an empty- nester now, I made 1/3 of the recipe and made a lovely, small size, perfect for two. My husband loves it too. Thank you for giving me the skills to be able to make something this special.
Susan Moellmann secret here is adding fat to the flour, blend, then add liquids. have read about this method before.

I made this cake last night and it was beyond amazing!! Flavors of lemon & raspberry together takes it to next level ..
But I want to point that the presentation didn’t look like in the video bcz when you fill the rasp in between , the cake slips which makes hard to layer the frosting on top & sides. Tried to even freeze it in between but didn’t help much. So, I gave up on decorations & enjoyed the taste 😁. May be if anyone have had success on that can share the secret ..

What is the flour you use? I know it's a cake flour but I would like to know the name if posible.
It's most likely Swan Down cake flour. That's a brand of cake flour that's very popular to use.

I could hate to bite into a lemon seed or seed part, they are very bitter. when I do this recipe, i think i will use candied lemon slices. thanks for the recipe!
I was thinking the same thing only wanted the raspberry seeds removed.
What’s the purpose of mixing the flour in with the raspberries ? Should I do that before adding any fruit into the batter? Thanks!!
