Too many to list..
.. just a few suggestions for anyone reading this who are unfamiliar with him and would like to hear more 🤘🏻
I totally am
in my opinion the only other guitarist that is better than Buckethead is Steve Vai and that is with out a doubt. When it comes to who I get stuck listening to it would go to Opeth.
Buckethead is the alpha and omega of six string sting. Unrivaled. It's not even close.
I wanted to give a thumbs up for this comment but it currently sits at 69!
That made Rich so happy. Good job Fam thanks to anybody else who requested these. So happy to see love for Buckethead
#Buckethead (Pike 65) Hold Me Forever "In Memory of my Mom Nancy York Carrol"
Seconded!
I concur.
BucketHead is a wizard with the guitar. Very unique. ✌
BUCKETHEAD will change your life!!!!!!!!!!
Seeing him in two weeks! I'm so f'n giddy!
Going to see him Sunday.
Got to see him back in march, the show was amazing! I gave him a lightsaber for the toy exchange. The show was life changing to me and I'd gladly see him again!
I'll make this simple. Buckethead Pike 65 ( Hold me forever ). It was written for his mother who passed. A lot of emotion that you can feel in that one. Worth a listen
Probably my favorite song by him to play on guitar. Literally fun to play technique-wise, but also very emotional.
Buckethead is a virtuoso of the instrument. One of the best players. His music catalogue is huge and covers a variety of genres. For another side to his playing I recommend listening to #buckethead #padmasana.
Btw: he's making that sound with a kill switch. It turns the signal from the guitar on and off.
I have his signature model😊✌️
@@kentaprestberg7524 lucky bastard lol.
Great song, terrible song to react to
The red button is a kill switch. It just mutes the output. The amount of coordination and precision needed to use the kill switch like that is insane. Plus with his freaky long fingers, he can play things literally physically impossible for most guitar players.
BTW, talking about playlists, I have a ~22 hour Buckethead playlist, just the stuff I like enough to listen to daily. He can go anywhere, for how long he wants. Acoustic, melodic, delicate, rough, dirty, borderline chaotic.
And his guitar is actually a baritone one ^^
You guys should do a weekly buckethead video 😁
Yes i second this notion😁
Yes! A thousand times yes!
Daily*
#metalchickpick buckethead - pike 65!!!! Please!! His best song by far
His best and most emotional work
Final bend of the labyrinth and Bozo in the labyrinth.
Yes!!!!! Buckethead is amazing
Buckethead always=Subscribe😁
You're awsome! Thanks for... everything. And... thanks for everyth... that you play Buckethead for me, and others. Big B is my religion. I even got his Les Paul signature model... with 2 killswitches... Kel *blink blink*😉.
Warm fat hugs from Sweden😊❤️🇸🇪
I got the signature model too :) Absolute mint condition apart from the yellowing/aging.
#Buckethead - Nottingham Lace (great solo at the end)
#Buckethead - Pepper's Ghost (several tempo changes)
Aurora, Colorado
Damn @20:30; she already knows what's coming next... The gestures... Total victory at 21:27.. Now that's sheer love!
Each and every time I listen to Eerie Canal I have this reaction as you had. It is incredible and a mix of emotions as well. It was one of the first songs I heard from him a few years ago and there are so many others of him and very different styles. He is an exceptional artist and a great gift for all of us.
Saw Buckethead a couple of years ago in a similar club for New Years Eve. Didn't need any fireworks other than his fingers flying over those frets!
I found Buckethead on YT in June last year, I had never heard of him before. Soothsayer live was the first song and I was hooked. #Eerie Canal is a stunning tune, or not, I can't quite sit still when listening to it. #Glacier is another BH tune that is so beautiful it brings tears to the eyes. JR 🇸🇪 And I have to add #Celery, #Hold me Forever and......, the list just goes on.....
Awesome, some Buckethead 🤘 need some more great guitarists on the channel.
Rich, Buckethead had you gripping your face. Welcome to the club! 🤪🎸🍗🤘
Glad u guys found Buckethead! Check out Soothsayer and both of you will be amazed.
Antonio Monteiro thank you so much for your comments, we reacted to Soothsayer a few nights ago. It is listed on our Buckethead playlist.
Thanks for rockin’ out with us.
Oh, my bad. Going to watch it right now :)
They didn't react to the live version.
Hes on tour y'all really should go!!!
Brian Patrick Carroll is a legend. His guitar playing takes you to another universe. He’s a genius. Hands down the greatest guitar player. I honestly only listen to his music and I still believe I am missing a few albums over the 8 years listening. Mesmerizing.
#Buckethead - Pike 65- Hold me forever. One of the best guitar works ever!! Great reaction!
New to me...one more reason I love yall..broadening horizons....Mr Ed has been lead to the trough and he drank it..Helllo Wilbur!
I can’t wait until you do Buckethead’s song “I Love My Parents”! Such a good lullaby for me! It’ll help you fall asleep! Beautiful music!
I saw Buckethead live around two years ago and it was hands down the best show I’ve ever been to. I LOVE eerie canal as well. That whole pike is fantastic actually!
#buckethead Thank You Ohlinger's 🇺🇸
One of my favourite pikes is Pike #52 (Factory)
Yeah. The newbies got all genres at the same time when listen to that master piece 😊🙏
@@kentaprestberg7524 I haven't even listened to them all myself yet lol
The most important was #BucketheadPike65HoldmeForever. It's honestly his best and most emotional work
Yeah ... I’ll keep recommending Buckethead Scraps 2 29 96 #Buckethead Scraps Live 2 29 96 . Raw and Pure
Shredding with soul
OmniNihilist perfection! Lol
That performance gives me goosebumps
SeptemberSeventeenth fn great
Shout out to Bucketbots and Big B fans. We saw him in Dallas on March 9th and were flying to Michigan for the April 27th show. Followers know his brilliance and though it seems a shame he hasn't gotten the popularity he so deserves, but he likes it low key and we the fans have him as our little musical secret.
bucket head is not human! everything string his fingers touch are a gods gift to all his fans! i love bucket head!keep reaching for infinity bucket head !we love you!
With every new vid I go through library of music I’ve heard in my head..... between me and all your other fans out there y’all are in for an incredible musical journey. Metal is hard, nasty, ugly, soft, and beautiful all at once. I’m happy to be a pat of this with you guys!
Need to watch a whole Buckethead show and break it into parts. The stuff he does between songs makes the show even better🤘
I love to see peoples mind being blown by buckethead, its great. Hes truly the GOAT
Wow.... that‘s the first artist/song of your first time reactions I didn‘t already know and it‘s awesome. Thanks for showing me! Greetings from Germany 🤘
Just in case you were wondering bucket’s signature Les Paul has two arcade button kill switches. Paul Gilbert was one of his guitar teachers
If you are curious about Buckethead, there is a guy on RUclips that goes by "Buckethead Disciple"; he does videos that cover many aspects of BH. In one of them, he quickly covers all of the 275 pikes. He makes some very good recommendations. #Pike51 is excellent. One thing that you don't get from the videos is how tall he is: the guy goes about 6'5". Also, if you ever get to see him live, bring a toy (chicken, robot, action figure) for the toy exchange. Sometime during the show he gets a bag of toys and hands them out.
Can;'t believe he only charges $2 an album as well
Thanks to whoever suggested this, there's so much Buckethead music I don't know if I'd have found this on my own, Eerie Canal wow!!!
You guys got me sitting here in my bed alone jamming to all your videos and rocking my head back and forth and just living.
I fucking love you guys.
Buckethead is one of the many national treasures of The United States! When I found his music a few years ago, I was blown away. I still am today. Just yesterday I listened to "The Sleep Book", one of my favourites, and slightly different than Jordan. His music/art has so many sides, and he deserves all the recognition he can get!
Again, greatest reaction vid of all time. Kel jumps on the train from opening bash. Rich stays conscious to analyze what is happening until Buckethead literally alien beams Rich's emotional being to another plane. Please don't ever take this off RUclips. It will live forever.
That is so nice of you to say, and such fine words for us to go into our weekend with. Being together experiencing this amazing artist and his band and have the music and moments come together is what life is all about. Thank you so much for being with us, and being such a bright light in the world.
We won’t ever take this off RUclips. It’s settled!!!
KnR❤️🥰
@@Kel.N.RichReactions Thank you. Bucketheads comments sections indicate that people credit this artist for both metaphorical and literal lifesaving and therapeutic effect. A couple years ago Buckethead gave me two overwhelming experiences with Worms For The Garden and Hold Me Forever. Had to weep (common in Bucketheadland) as the ceaseless and impossible solo in Worms made me understand, wordlessly, how I have underestimated and shortchanged myself in life...always keeping things too safe and too tight to my chest. No more. I hope everyone gets a flash of that kind of inspiration someday no matter what vehicle it pulls up in. For me and many it happened with this artist and songs like Eerie Canal. Peace.
I love you guys. I don't suscribe to just anyone. That shows how good your hearts are, i just know when i am with people who are like that, i can sense it ❤ i love people like y'all
You said it Rich, why haven't I heard of this artist!! Its funny.. dude walking down the street with a bucket on his head and a mask.......call the cops! Throw him a guiitar = mind blown.so much to listen to with BH!
The really amazing part about him playing with killswitch is that you push it when you DON'T want the sound to be played, effectively playing in reverse. Try mimicking that while listening to Jordan again and you'll find yourself pressing the button when it shouldn't.
More and more buckethead please that's to good for ears! 🙏
I love you even more!❤️😊🇸🇪
10:32 bro your reaction and response is so right. Lot of people get turned off by the bucket, and never give his music a shot. But you straight away understood, it’s just letting the music speak for itself. Doesn’t take himself too seriously. Great vid, love bucket :] 🤙🏼
His live performances are the best. Video or otherwise. Soothsayer live incredible.
The celler yawns by buckethead is a wild metal masterpiece.
#Buckethead #painintheask
Ah Buckethead. Where to even begin with this versatile guitar god. With such an enormous catalogue there is really something for everyone to enjoy. I will list some of my favorites that I think you should check out:
- "Hold Me Forever (In memory of my mom Nancy York Carroll) - Pike 65" --- If you are up for it, this 30 minute album sounds like a single epic song that is a must-listen for any Buckethead fan. In this he has so many various melodic solos, while still managing to tie it all together. This album really shows off his creative and musical skill. (28.37 min)
- "Padmasana - Electric Tears" --- Electric Tears is one his more quiet and emotional albums, containing no drums at all. I think Padmasana does a fantastic job at showing a side of Buckethead that many people do not see. No shredding or high tempo solos, just him and his guitar doing amazing, emotional storytelling. An absolute personal favorite. (11.39 min)
- "For Mom - Colma" --- Colma is the first Buckethead album I ever heard and every song on it is a gem to me. He made the album for his mom when she was in the hospital, recovering from colon cancer. The songs are more down-tempo, pleasant and joyful, although you can feel the sadness he must have gone through as well. For Mom is a prime example of that. (5.10 min)
- "Nottingham Lace - Enter the Chicken" --- A Buckethead classic. Excellent live version here: ruclips.net/video/vYxrdrzmuUw/видео.html
(Very) honorable mentions:
- "Leave the Light On - Pike #66" (13.06 min)
- "The Homing Beacon (Tribute to Michael Jackson) - Electric Sea" (6.53 min)
- "Worms for the Garden - Pike #26" (18.36 min)
- "Sail on Soothsayer (in memory of Aunt Susie) - Decoding the Tomb of Bansheebot (6.29 min)
- "Fourneau Cosmique - Pike #274" (11.49 min)
These are just few of many, but a good starting point :-)
This guy knows his Buckethead.
I'm a fu**ing MALE from Sweden and i'm 53 year young. And you are gorgeous... and you're channel is the best!
100% male. GOT IT. CHECK! Thanks for being pretty f'king clear dude. And thanks for the Buckethead GIFT!!!!!!!! Later..
Kel-n-Rich: That sound Rich asked about at 7:50. He has a pickup killswitch installed as a button at the rear of the guitar. When you press the button down, the killswitch is engaged and the signal to the pickups completely drops off UNTIL you let go of the button. Do it really fast with heavy distortion and power chords, and it sounds incredible. My buddy installed one in his guitar. It's really fun - almost like drum pad tapping on your guitar except the sound drops out.
Buckethead is an absolute maestro on the guitar. So glad you guys are reacting to him.
Hi Guys I’m new to your channel and I just wanted to say that I think it’s absolutely awesome! I’ve been a fan of Buckethead for so long now. To Say his incredible is only the beginning! I remember introducing a friend of mine to this instrumental and listening to the whole piece he looked at me and said....God I think I need a cigarette now and I don’t smoke! We sat their speechless for a while and then I said to him....you see this is the effect his music has on you! It takes time to take in what you’ve heard or what you’ve witnessed when he plays! The emotional value that comes from Bucketheads playing is without equal! His technical ability coupled with the life and soul he gives his instrument is just entrancing! To me I believe him to be the greatest I’ve ever heard! A pure heartfelt musical genius!
Greetings from Nottingham U.K. Great show
A Lot of people slagged Chinese Democracy but I love it Buckethead kicks maximum ass...
You look so good togheter, i wish you all the happines in the world... and buckethead is the best ever in my eyes anyway
Claymation Courtyard (Pike 51) is one of his best Pikes.
imo the best part of pike 51 is definitely disintegration mirrors. holy moly what a legend
i was listening to eerie canal for the first time and this is definetly my favorite new song
#Buckethead - Padmasana or Swomee Swan. You might expect from the songs you've reacted to that he is primarily a shredder but he has so many ambient and soulful tracks.
Kel, Rich, from watching your reactions, I can tell that you are on a journey together. It isn't about reacting to music on your channel, but about your search for where creativity resides. The absolute best tip I can give you (unless you have a question) is a composition that is a bit too long to react to, but, if you listen to it together, without external distraction, can take you to a place where you can understand......if you give yourselves over. Brian Carroll, aka Buckethead, created a 20 minute composition that will rock your world, and absolutely transport you. The first half is melody transposition, exploration, and re-integration. The second half, settles into a driving beat, in which the Bucket performs a 10-13 minute solo, exploring at least 34 techniques, effects, and styles. Please, as a matter of exploration and understanding, turn off the lights, hold each other's hand, and listen to Pike 65 (Hold Me Forever). You will never be the same. This takes a little courage, but I see that in you two.
#BucketheadLookUpThere #TristatesIllinois it is just literally 21 mins of amazingness from Buckethead; one of my all time favorite songs too!
The Goat.
you guys are great) keep watching Buckethead, he is a genius)
Patrick Brian Carrol (Buckethead) is an incredible musician is multi instrumentalist, former guitarist of the band Guns And Roses, should react to Guns And Roses Nightrain Live in boston 2002 with buckethead
Personally, I can’t think of another human that can do That. Our Bucket is a gift to mankind. 🤘
More buckethead!!
Soothsayer live. The one with the title"the most emotional" in particular.
"Another 8 bars..." LOL. Welcome to Bucketheadland.
We need more Buckethead!!!!!
#buckethead Blind Cyclops 🇺🇸
Hey guys. ✌
MORE BUCKETHEAD LIVE!!!!!!!!!!!
#buckethead Plastination Station or Sketches of Spain (For Miles). I think Kel will really appreciate the latter especially. Also a note for Rich, at the 20:40 mark of the video... that's what Buckethead does best. He entertains you for awhile and it slowly gets more complex to the point you dont think he could play any better, then he f****n unleashes on you out of nowhere!
#buckethead Inward Journey 🇺🇸
Also, you`ve now only listened to his more "shreddy" stuff. He also has Blues, Jazz, Progressive, Metal, Ambient etc etc. The music of Buckethead is limitless and anyone can find something he likes somewhere on those 300+ albums....
So glad you guys got to this. You already have some requests from me so I will be a little quiet so others can have a go as well :)
#buckethead Magellans Maze 🇺🇸
Buckethead is the Paganini for the electric guitar.
@twosetviolin
you can only play a song like this with a free, big and open heart
I Love your Reactions! They are pretty Spot on ! For the Future more Buckethead. Hold me Forever. This was for his dying mother. This song is over the top with Emotions. Interworld live version, Look up there the album, Patrolman live version, Siege Engine, Earth Heal Herself, Too Many Humans, Animal Instinct and Claymation Courtyard to Name a few.
Check out, A Beginner's Guide to Buckethead by #BucketheadDisciple.
Good vid. Love Buckethead.
You should listen to the interview he did. He’s such a nice/calm guy. . Brian :). .He explains the “bucket”, also that he battles alot with anxiety, back problems. And he has a Heart condition, that’s why he dont “move” alot, when he performs :/ love that guy!
Jordan was also on guitar hero as a bonus tune.
omg shades of frank zappa. this is truly an amazing performance!
Buckethead plays like EVERY instrument....even if it hasn't been invented yet. HE PLAYS IT, AND HAS MASTERED IT.
The guy is a FREAK of nature.
@20:30: Time to buckle up; nothing beats that moment in Eerie Canal where you think he's almost done. Thanks K&R, X
Buckethead its amazing
Hi ! Here's some suggestions picked out of the maze of Buckethead's 300+ albums : "The light in the fog" (pikes 99), Flat Feet (pikes 87) "Chickencoopscope" (pikes 149)
By the way, nice reaction, and cool channel too !
Kel said it best in your previous Buckethead video "The fuck'n skill!".
Pretty sure that is the baddest guitarist on this planet !
Bob collins. He sure is. Baddest greatest! 😎🤘
#Buckethead The robot who lost its head, Buckethead - Flea Market, and Buckethead - Whitewash (this version ruclips.net/video/8akmP6Sjv2o/видео.html), and Buckethead - Patrolman. The dude has over 300 releases, you could spend the rest of the year dedicated to him.
Buckethead is not from our world he has graced us with his gifts from a distant galaxy lightyears from here.
Buckethead!!!! Yes!!!!!! 😍😍😍😍😊😊😊😊😊😊
Nice Blend😎😎😎
Hey guys. I have been a fan of Buckethead for 8 years now. Try pike Fire Flyer Meteor. He’s out of this world. Enjoy!
I live by the Erie Canal and it is Eerie.
You Lucky bastard! 👍
I still can't believe he has 300+ released albums!
