I love cherries, they are in my top five fruits. Eating them off of the stem is ok but infusing them in a dish like this just takes their flavor to another level. Sometimes, 'cherry flavored' is best. Good job Bonita :)

It is so tasty. I do love the icing dipping down as well. But let it come to room temp if you are making it for Christmas. Plus they freeze good too. Just put the loaf in a freeze bag and take it out the day before you are going to serve it. :) Enjoy Bonita

Excellent loaf - before my diet plan I'd add in some chopped walnuts to the batter for a fine cherry-nut loaf. That cream cheese icing puts it over the top. Thanks for sharing it as I will also be sharing it with my family and friends.

Since your large bowl that had flour in it is empty mixing the cherries in the large bowl would be easier than that little one. You always have such great recipes. I refer to your site when I am tired of making the same old stuff weekly. Not only the recipes but the banter between you and Raymond are an added delight. Please don't change anything.
