The only boss in Hidden Palace is Knuckles, so that can mostly be excluded, and Doomsday would fit most as the last boss, since he's the only boss that you have to fight as Super Sonic. So 17+ (10x 2)+ (3x 2)+ 1= 17+ 20+ 6+ 1= 37+ 6+ 1= 44. Sonic CD has 7 zones, each of which can only have 1 boss, so 44+ 7= 51. So a game that contains the bosses from all four classic Genesis 2-D Sonic platformers would be a boss rush consisting of 50 bosses and then the boss of Doomsday, presumably right after the Death Egg Robot.
They should let you finish the game how you want to (so no time limit) and maybe they should add a online leaderboard to see who can finish it the fastest but then again its just a hack

Death Egg Robot is just hitbox annoyness. Silver Sonic and Oil Ocean can be easily tricked. The Sonic 1 bosses except Labyrinth Zone is easy, (Even final!). Sonic 2 have:Easy first boss, easily tricked second boss, easy and easily tricked third boss, easy and easily tricked fourth boss, easily tricked fifth boss, easy sixth boss, easily tricked seventh boss, If-You-Have-One-Ring-You-Will-Easily-Defeat-That-Boss-Rule eighth boss, If-You-Have-One-Ring-You-Will-Easily-Defeat-That-Boss-Rule ninth boss, easily tricked ninth boss and finally the annoying hitbox final boss. I hate classic bosses because i suck at them but the only reason why i hate chaos 4 is because he has way more HP than chaos 0, there is no homing attack spamming like egg hornet, you cannot do double damage with light dash/maximum heat knuckles attack like chaos 6, instead you have a long and boring fight like you will later with the egg viper if you are fighting him as sonic and with the egg walker if you are fighting him as tails
so far you got the bosses from 1. 3:00 spring yard zone 2. 4:14 labyrinth zone 3. 6:27 starlight zone and 4. 8:00 scrap brain zone also known as the final boss
Foxy the Pirate bear the first time i beat it i did this: 1-when robotnik enters the robot, the robot will be still for a few moments so hit him there 2-wait for him on the left 3- when he is about to rocket into the ceiling he'll be still, hit him 4-wait for him to come down (still on the left) 5-when hes about to come down, spindash to the right 6-when he finishes shooting his arm-spike-thingies you must fastly go over to him and hit him when he's still 7- wait for him to go down on the very right 8-again he'll be still so hit him there 9-repeat until it dies I know it's a lot but when you get it down is preety simple
