Yes, as much as how much SEGA owes all Sonic fans that kept Sonic alive and encouraging the creation of new games and the movie, but (again my opinion) his work is worth paid use in any game or movie, SEGA could try.
Oddly enough, Eggman's themes always caught me as metal songs especially given his theme of robots and a world of literal metal so I think this sounds exactly as I would've hoped they would. Even though eggman himself is more like a jolly old madman, he certainly used to have a kind of evil charm that disappeared over the years. Pretty good job here.

I find it one of bestest Eggman boss theme! It's really menacing and shows Eggman like a big threat for Sonic and other animals. Also i really like final boss theme from Sonic 1, cause it's sounds like the last confrontation, where you need to give all your strength, agility and skill to end this all.
