Flavor Flav pays tribute to Adam Yauch from the Beastie Boys at the beginning of the Public Enemy concert at the Metro, Sydney Australia on 11 May 2012
@@columbusohio72 soo true if you strat first ! In France we have a tradition of music with poetry same as hip hop flow and that from Middle Ages ! Show respect to MCA and shut up
I could go on and on, but to be brief, so many people have said it, and I hear nothing about good things about MCA. He just seems like a great soul. He cares about other people. I've been a fan for decades. If you listen to some of his lyrics you can tell he is a great guy and not just faking it.
@@jakepaulismyhero6603 He converted to Tibet. Raised awareness. Started changing lyrics about old songs involving disrespecting women. He apologized years before it became a thing for artist to even get what he meant. He and and the rest of the Beasties worked with security to prevent rapes happening at shows esp. post Woodstock 99, he worked with touring artists to make sure certain songs weren't disrespecting. Read an interview that he even stopped killing bugs in his home and would set them bck outside. He was still a NYC smart ass but he was real and had a genuine heart. He was sick of the Licencsed to Ill songs and lyrics in the 80's. Was already thinking ahead. Not everyone evolves in life like that sadly.
whats up with flav billing himself as PE when chuck d and terminator x are at home? i busted my ass to see "PE" in prague and it was flav and his "cousin tony from chicago". wtf is that. thank you, Adam Yauch.
Why is it funny seeing white people in the crowd for Public Enemy? Beastie Boys--especially MCA-- proved there aren't any barriers; the barriers are only in the mind. Flavor Flav doesn't seem to care, nor does anyone else. It's all about the music my friend!! Plus, the fact they are there shows their GREAT taste in music :-)
Thank you ADAM YAUCH, BEASTIE BOYS WILL ALWAYS BE THE GRANDFATHER'S OF HIP HOP
That would be africa bambaata and that class. Learn the history of hip hop.

Flavor Flav. Still the hype drink. We should all take a big sip (metaphorically speaking, of course).
MCA was a greaaaat guy, not just with music.
Why do you think that? Personally I think he was an amazing artist.

MCA called out the bullshit in todays world
