I really liked the fact that it's not a random clips of people going crazy and showing off their stuff like other lipdubs. It actually has a theme (apocalypse which is always an interesting subject to make a video with) and it attracts people to keep watching and pay attention showing general SFU smoothly. Nice balance of challenge and the actual purpose of the video, and I really love this video. some people criticize about the lip dubbing, but I think it is not a big problem. GOOD JOB SFU!
I remember being so excited that this lipdub would showcase all the SFU campuses. I remember the filming at SFU Surrey in particular because I work and study there, but I was really disappointed that nothing but the first two seconds of the 10 minute video showed the Surrey campus, and nothing of Harbour Centre or Goldcorp. I love SFU, but this didn't show what we're all about. I appreciate how hard the team must have worked, but it wasn't what I expected.
This project gave rise to our production!

Not to mention I love love love the storyline, the creativity, and all the different elements in your video. This just goes to show that you really don't need a helicopter, a horse, or a special guest appearance to make an awesome lipdub :)

Nicely done, and of course a helicopter wouldn't work. Apparently it rains a lot in BC, so SFU built a nice, undercover gathering area. :)

The cinematography was so good! I loved how unique this lipdub is. The actually lip part of the lipdub was pretty weak, though.

I don't know why students on SFU campus would complain about this video. Burnaby South's Lip Dub is no where close to how fantastic this is.
Heard that filming was a disaster but it looks like it turned out well.

I was super hyped to see this was shot on a $30,000 red camera and this was a disappointment lol
Awesome production quality wow! Was a shoulder mount used or a wheeled tripod? The camera work was both nimble and steady and looked great!

It only took 2 years, massive delays and a release when the lipdub fan over and done with. It's cool with all the school spirit, but the ball was dropped and all the hype died after it was delayed for reasons that could have EASILY been avoided.
first thought SFU is some chinese university, then googled SFU and found out it is located in Vancouver. wtf?
I'm form SFU and go to to UBC Sauder. Btw, Arts encompasses a lot of faculty. One of the major and biggest faculty in arts is Economics and all business students need it. So you have no fucking clue to what you are evening saying.
Also UBC Sauder school is well known across Canada and Internationally, but the Beedie School isn't and that is a fact you can't deny. UBC puts more time and resources into their business school with extensive networks.
Is this the lipdub 2 years in the making? A bit underwhelming.
the idea was obviously to do the mayan 2012 thing... in that case it worked - and the production value was great, the actual lipdub part failed horribly though.
