I spent a week staying in a cottage in Kirkland, just by the place you probably parked your car. Cross Fell is a great mountain to climb. We had lunch in Greg’s Hut, making good use of “ the shovel” hanging in the porch. I don’t think I’d be brave enough to go up there alone. Respect.
@@RhysGarrard Went up today and someone had taken a new one up on the 10th. Left message in there and mentioned your channel ;) It was pretty winterish on the top today, foggy from 600m up with very reduced visibility and fog was freezing from about 700m up making it look like it had snowed and quite windy. Well wrapped up and I like the weather so enjoyed it immensely. Party of three coming in to the hut just as we were finishing lunch to get to the top, great day. Keep up the good work.
@RhysGarrard I just looked on the map app and can see where you are what a beautiful part of the world mate! I haven't ventured that far out yet but next year i plan to head that way for sure ✌️🇬🇧
Great video !!
Glad you enjoyed it 😊

Glad you enjoyed it and thank you 😊, loved this little trip 👍
Great video, I'm planning to pass by there quite soon so will get a hardback ruled book and leave it if one has not been put there already.
Fantastic! I won’t make it back for a while, will be great to have a log book in there. Normally love an evening of reading all the stories in there
