I have the PS2 game but I want to figure out how to make my PS2 play Japanese games so I can buy both the grand prix games that have all the characters from the show@@jordonjohnson8346
Imagine an ultimate muscle reboot with actual wrestlers voicing them. John Cena proves he’s a good voice actor, though I couldn’t see him as Kid Muscle. King Muscle maybe…
A lot of characters in Kinnikuman are parodies/references to real life wrestlers (Kevin Nash/Kevin Mask) so I wonder what a Kinnikuman version of John Cena would be like.
Anyone ever wonder how the spinning toe hold works? Edit: Thanks for all the answers people. I guess I was expecting something a bit more logical from this series.
Hyper-extension; basically bending a joint close to the breaking point without breaking it. And he's doing it with all the joints in the opponent's leg.
crash course: kinnikuman designs were all submitted by japanese residents, gold lightan has existed prior to the golden mask arc so it wouldn't be a coinsidence if the design of sunshine was inspired by gold lightan, they are very different characters however.
This was made a few years before "Galactic wrestling", but had a create-a-wrestler function. Galactic wrestling introduced grapples for when your foe was on the ground as well as "burning inner strength" for altered movesets, but no wrestler customizations and wastes of space such as "Chojin Kid" who was just Mantaro in another costume.
***** If you're talking about Galactic Wrestling about the "wastes of space" then the alternate characters were because of the manga which saw characters alternate appearances and move sets as the series progressed, for example, there was Sunshine as he main his debut in the Devil Knights arc, and then there is Sunshine Supreme from his tag-team formation with Ashuraman during the Dream Tag-Team Arc. Speaking of Sunshine, though, not long ago he won his first match in a long time against the Perfect Origin #7 - Singman, in the Kinnikuman Resurrection Manga.
1 year before Galactic Wrestling, GW also added pinfalls, ground grapples, survival mode & mask hunt, and deathmatch ring options such as concrete and ice rings as well as barbed wire and electrified ropes.
That's a bit naive. They didn't look at the roster and say "we have extra space, let's add the same characters again". Characters don't make themselves, they'd need to make models, skin them animate them, do voice-overs and then balance the new characters. The clone characters would have been added regardless of weather or not you had more unique characters like Hydrazoa, Dead Signal, etc...

I think he's basically twisting the ankle.

The Hurricane Cross Slam should be in more fighting games. Enough of this powerbombing business, Hurricane Cross Slam is where it's frickin' at.
Ah yes. The ancient Chinese "Great Wall Drop".
2:21 Ultimate muscle 😂
God this brought back memories. Thank you so much for this.
The skull wrestler looks like Skullomania from Street Fighter EX
I'm very sure Skullo was based off of Kinnkotsuman/Skulduggery since the original series began in 1979.
Dude.... Best game ever it was super fkn epic!
"Here we go!"
This game is godlike
Wwe should take notes
lol they tried to make the spinning toe hold epic
I hated that guy that just kept saying "There it is" or "here we go
Thats James from Pokemon
4Kids did the dub
Meowth is his partner and Meat is Pokemon announcer/narrator
the ending was awesome
MUSCLE SPARK
i know this game it was awesome when i was a kid
How to special move tag team
Did this game come after or before Galactric Wrestling? Because I remember Galactic Wrestling had way more characters.

Lord Proteus
Nah, I mostly mean that Chojin Kid was a waste of space since his moveset and vocal cues are no different from his default.
