how to connect low beam lights
Just plug in the light hardness that's attached to the headlights. It connects to the original plug that came with your truck. There is no need to figure out what's the high and low beam is. Now, if you're talking about the light LED strip that the original headlights don't have, then that light strip does not have a high or low beam. That's just an extra light that you can use as daylights or add its own switch separately. If this doesn't explain your question, can you be more specific?
I been looking for some it’s real hard to find any nowadays
I found some here, but there are only two left amzn.to/37pj8jT
And here are some more from a different seller amzn.to/2Jnaaet
@@RandomVlogTime thank you! do you know if there’s any Clear Corner ones out there still ?
You know what? I didn't even paid any attention to the signal lights not being clear. I just looked around, and you're right. Seems like they sold out everywhere 😕.
I need a how to video on installing that led wiring harness
I have another video on installing an LED switch in the vehicle. It wasn't these lights, but on a Toyota. You can buy an LED wire harness amzn.to/38fzZDW. Hope this helps.
There’s different kinds of headlights back up on stock now
The headlights I installed on my truck, they usually fly off the shelves. They either don't make enough, or they just don't stock it as much. And when I searched on the internet, no one else seems to sell them. 🤯
Hey Brother, I have a question. I bought model HL-SIL14 -BK-B-U for my Silverado. My headlights have 4 black and red wires on each headlight. Do I just run all 4 wires the same way you ran just the 2 wires? Thanks man
So there're 4 black and red, meaning that there are 2 red and 2 black wires (4 total)? If you're trying to do the same thing as me (making the daylight light up with the strip light in the middle), then you have to make sure you follow that same red/black wire coming from the daylight socket. I can't remember if you can actually unscrew the rubber going into the headlight housing that prevents water from going in, but I would try to do that to make sure I use and follow the correct wires.
@@RandomVlogTime I appreciate it ty very much
Those lights looks clean 😍 but I’m not much of a fan on the led strip
They do have some without the LED strips, but I liked them, so decided to go with them. Thanks!
RestoreVivifyTransform can you link too where you got them ?
@@5.3david17 where I got the ones with LED? Sure thing. I got them from Amazon and it's in the description under the video. If you're on mobile, you're going to have to click on the down blue arrow under the video, and it should be there.
Hey so I was wiring it up the same way you did, but the headlights don’t work when I put it into automatic but they do when you turn the headlights on manually
Did you use the same light bulbs as the ones I used? It may be the light bulbs. My fog lights used to work automatically if I left them on. When I replaced my fog lights from stock to LEDs, I had to turn those on manually every time I needed them because the automatic stopped working after upgrading to LEDs. Not sure if this would help your problem 100% on your daylights though
How did you Upgrade your regular headlights bulbs to LED
You just have to purchase them. No need to do anything else, but to plug the LED's into the sockets. You do need a resistor to upgrade signal lights. There are some LED light bulbs out there for signal lights that you don't even need the resistors anymore.
Craig Your Hellish Bokeh LED
Can you tell me if you’ve had any problems with your headlights?
I actually got a new Chevy. During the time I owed that truck, the only problems I had was one of the LED turn signals (white) was about to go out. It was flashing in and out. Other then that, no other problems.
You only put the LED lights for the top whats the link for the high beams please?
You're right. I Forgot to add that on there. The link is amzn.to/2nCBHhC. It was a little more expensive, but I really needed something that would be bight enough to my liking. It also might say that it doesn't fit the vehicle, but it might be because of the headlight housing itself. I can't remember if this is the one that I had to plug in backwards or not, but I did had to plug one of the lights backwards. By backwards, I mean that I just had to flip the plug so that the connectors would be switched. The clip ended up on the opposite side so I just got some electrical tape to hold it in place. Don't panic like I did when it didn't work lol. The negative and positive on the light bulb itself could be switched. it could of been a different light, like the fog light, but I just can't remember witch one it was. If you would like to go with something cheaper, they might have other options with less lumens.
What kind of bulb you used for projector LED low beam?
I belive that the low and high beam were the same bulb. The 9005 from the description
Hey where did you get the turn signals I really like those
Sorry for the delayed response. I got them from ebay, but the seller that I bought them from no longer selling them
Where you orden i can't find like those i like it
Unfortunately they are very hard to find. You do have to check often on the link below. Sometimes they do add some to their stock, but they don't last long.
Hell Yeah bro looks good! You made me motivated to buy these for my 14 LT Silverado 👍 Looks good bro
Can you wire the led strip to park light
Yes you can. All you have to do is find out which wire goes to the park lights with a voltmeter. Attach the positive wire from the LED strip to the parking light instead of the daylights, and that's it. Just be sure that you don't attach the wire to the turning signal wire because it will not light up until you turn on your signal lights on. Your LED strip will also be your turning signal lights if you do that. There are 3 wires going to the parking lights. One is for ground, one is for your turning signal, and the third one is for your parking light.
Ok thanks alot
i have the same headlights but want to change the signal lights from yellow to clear like urs. How can i do that?
Unfortunately, if the outside cover/plastic is already amber/yellow, you'll need to purchase a new set of headlights with the clear outter cover (the whole housing headlights). Then you can buy the amber/yellow light bulbs. But if I understand your question correctly, there's no way to cut out the amber to clear on that specific section of the headlights.
I jus got this but with the u lights on each bulb housing with the led strip I got the h1 led bulbs but they just don’t shine as bright as I know leds suppose to do u know anything to help ?
What was the lumens on the bulbs you got?
Hey bud what did you find out in regards to which wires you connected the register to?
I'm not quite sure as to what register you're referring to. Can you be more specific?
How did you remove the clamp that it has to put your own led lights for the low beam?
Are you completely removing the clamp that presses down the light bulb? If that's what you're doing, then use some needle nose pliers and grab the clamp (one side where the wire goes into the hole), and push it out. It'll require some surgical strategy, but it should work.

En el Amazon, pero siempre se venden bien rápido. Puse un sitio en la descripción abajo de video, pero siempre se venden bien rápido
Did they come with the glossy black look? All the aftermarkets i see are just matte and i need glossy like this to match.
They came already glossy. Some of the images sometimes look matte black, but they are probably glossy. I would ask the seller directly just to be sure. They may even have the ones you want on a different listing. The ones I got with clear signal lights instead of amber, are very hard to find in stock. They become in stock from time to time, but they go pretty fast.
See i dont mind the ambers, im really just lookin for the black glossy to match the grille because i busted my bottom lens this morning and i guess you can't just simple replace that without replacing the whole housing or melting the seal 😭😭 appreciate it though.
No problem. But I would definitely ask the seller, or read the questions that other buyers already asked. Your question might even help other buyers that might be having the same issues.
where you get the black front grill from
It was vinyl wrapped
What LED’s did you use for your low beam? I’m having issues getting mine installed. They don’t seem to fit that stupid silver bracket where the clip is.
It's been years since I've worked on this truck and I honestly can't remember the difference on the daylight/high/and low beams location. Some of the items in the description have also changed by themselves not matching the right title of the item I posted many years ago taking you to a totally different bulb, compared to the links. H1 were daylights, and 9005 were high beams. But because I don't own this truck anymore, I can't tell if the high beam and low beam were on the same bulb, but from what I do remember, they possibly could. The only way to tell is if you test them yourself since I can't do that anymore. Once you find out which light is the one that changes high/low beam, then be sure to purchase the one bulb that changes from high to low or vice-versa. In sorry I'm no help on this part anymore 😔.
What kind of fog lights you get with this set up ?
I honestly can't remember the brand and I forgot to add it to the list, but it was something similar to this: amzn.to/2ZscZzC. It may or may not be the same ones that I used since it's been a long time since I installed them, and I don't own this truck anymore.
Did you intentionally wire the signal lights to be on as a running light as well? I’ve been planning to get these for my truck for a while but why are the signals on before and after signalling?
The only thing that I did to the signal lights was added a resistor to prevent hyper flashing because LED light bulbs were installed. If you're referring as to the light strip, that was connected to the daylights. Your regular signal lights stay on (amber) when you're not using your signal lights (OEM). When you turn your signal lights on, they turn on and off to signal. These LED lights that I installed on the headlights alternate from white to amber. When you're not using your signal lights, the lights stay on as white (as compared to the stock amber). And because these after market headlights are also clear where the signal lights are instead of amber, they'll light up white. After the turn signal is engaged, the light will switch to amber from the white. Not sure about other states (they should be the same) but in Texas, you're allowed to have white, yellow, or amber for your front turn signals. I hope I didn't confuse you, but to make it more simple, the turn signal light bulbs alternate from white to amber when the turn signal is used. Also, because it was night time during this video, the headlights will be on including where the turn signal is, and this is why you probably said that the turn signals were on before I actually turned the signal lights on. They're always on when the headlights are turned on. And they'll flash when you turn the signal lights on. Hope this clears some confusion.
@@RandomVlogTime Thanks a lot! That made perfect sense.
Thank you
Where can I get those?
It seems like everyone is out. The only ones that I found were with yellow/amber signal lights, but not white. I'll keep checking, but they seemed to be hard to find nowadays. Don't know why
Did water get through?
Water never got through. I traded the truck in about a year later after doing this aftermarket headlights. During that time, I didn't have any issues with them
@@RandomVlogTime what did you end up using to keep the water out? I just bought them and they should come in sometime next week.
At first, I was thinking of using some electrical putty from Ideal Industries since I had some from a previous project, but I ended up not applying anything on it. Plumbing putty should work too if you do end up putting it on there. I figured that if water gets in there, it might get in from somewhere else where there's no seal like the one that comes with the cap. So I just put the headlights on the truck, and hoped for the best. No water got in there so I guess I was one of the lucky ones that didn't get any water in them, or maybe the reviews that made it on there were just the bad reviews. Unfortunately, most of the time only the bad reviews make it on there, but I was personally happy with those headlights.
@@RandomVlogTime what type of LEDS did you buy that would fit, I really don’t want to buy HIDS
I bought the ones from the description below. But any H1 and HB3/9005 will work. The HB3 or 9005 will be the same as the ones that are currently installed on your truck, so if you do a search for your headlights, it will say that they fit (bottom ones). However, if you do a search for the one on the top, the H1 will say that they'll not fit on your truck. These custom headlights use a different light bulb on the top (H1) compared to the ones that came with the OEM headlights. So if you do a search for the model and make of your truck, it'll say that they don't fit, but H1 LED's will.
Love the look of them ! Trying to do a similar set up on mine had a quick question are the led headlight connected to the resistors or just the blinkers?
The blinkers are the only ones connected to the resistors. The reason for the resistors, is so that you won't have hyper flashing when you turn on the blinkers. Without the resistors, they will blink really fast, and in some cases, they will not work. There are other light bulbs that the resistors are not required because they're built with the required internal resistance, but I got these ones because they're a lot cheaper and wanted to show the process.
@@RandomVlogTime okay thank you I appreciate it !
Any pictures on this headlights lamps in a day time? Or a video that would be great (lights on of course)
Unfortunately, I don't own this truck anymore. The only picture I did take was the one at the very end of the video. The lights weren't on though.
Those lights make it look like a 07-13 at night, should of put a day pic
Thanks for watching! If you watch the video all the way to the end, there's a picture taken during the day.
How did you like the lights
I've always liked that round silver Oracle light on top so I like then a lot. The LED stripe that runs down the middle is still going strong without issues. The only thing that started to go out is one of the turn signal lights. But that's just the LED bulb so it'll just have to be replaced. Turn signals are great and I like how they change colors from bright white to yellow. Also, because I replaced the regular light bulb with LED, it seems to be less bright at night, but you can still see down the road. My fog lights actually help tremendously when I do need to see better. Especially when it's pitch black outside and I live out in the country.
RestoreVivifyTransform thanks for the reply I might buy these
RestoreVivifyTransform have the same issue with the low beam led lights at night how hoping you had any pointers to make him brighter?
@@J.G361 maybe get something with higher lumens? My fog lights usually work great in assisting with brightness.
you have the signal light link ??
The link in the description under the video has changed for some reason. If you click on one of the links below, it'll have other options close to the ones that I installed. The specific headlights that I installed are very hard to find for some reason. They're out of stock most of the time, and when they do become available, they get sold out very quickly.
