This generation of Silverado came with two different headlight styles, a reflector headlight or a projector headlight. The new Morimoto XB LED projector headlights fit both! @@randyknafel5951 I have led light on my car no one ever flashed there light at me it's all about how you adjust your head lights if you adjusted the like there supposed to be now one will ever flash there light at you. Yes there are people out there that install high powered led and hid light but don't adjust there head light and yes it irritates the hell out of me when people do that get them adjusted right and you will be fine.

Unfortunately I missed the alignments of my car headlights. Most not even if it were all of them about the virtual alignments non talk about realignment the horizontal line...could you helps us with that in a future video?!

yes just figured this out the most hard & expensive part to the 2014 -15 to 2016- 19 LD is the hood Don't wast your time on used hoods, the junk yards want just as much as a GM dealer with body shop price!

Have these installed, they are awesome! Only question I have to way to completely black out my lights because the DRL stay on.

The DRL will get power with the DRL Fuse Tap harness in your fuse box. If you do not want the DRL on, you can unplug this! I recommend keeping it installed however for visibility to other drivers.

They look so nice but would look much nice with a clear deflector as supposed to an orange one, and maybe without the bottom led strip to better match the 16-18 models. I wonder what it would take to create some myself 🤔
You can definitely swap the reflectors if you find clear/smoked ones - just keep in mind Morimoto uses amber side markers for DOT reasons.

These are definitely brighter than your V4s in that headlight, and will produce more usable light output!
These are more expensive then some of the headlight housings on the market because these actually come with LEDs all sealed in the housing, and are covered under a 5-year warranty! They are some of the best housing on the market as of right now, much better than those cheap eBay options!

They are required to be DOT approved, that is why we have to have them.
What about 2015 Heavy Duty applications the chrome strip on those trucks are solid and about 3 inches wide top light projection beam bottom light is open reflective, is there a head light kit for those

Not when installed per the instructions. You could always wire up some sort of separate kill switch for the DRL!
Been combing your vids and website like crazy, but i need something similar but for the 2010 year 2500hd LMM. Duramax/ Allison crew cab 4x4 Chevy LTZ. I already have all the high-end LED upgraded bulbs from you guys, but i need new assemblies since mine are damaged by the sun. Any information you could send me would be great!!!

Correct me if I’m wrong... the low beams turn off when you put your turn signal on? So you lose light when driving at night?
Those low beams will stay lit when you turn the turn signal on, but the DRL will turn off when you use that turn signal! Shoot us an email if you have any other questions! Sales@HeadlightRevolution.com
The difference is drastic i want to convert to LED on my car. What items do i need to buy if i want to change my Audi A3 2011 sportback headlights from HID Xenon to LED lighting?
I hate to say it, with those headlights in a street application, we will not be able to recommend LEDs. I will only be able to recommend you HID replacement bulbs, as those are still street legal if you have them from the factory. Can you install the lights without wiring the DRL? Im not a big fan of the DRL, would rather not have it enabled.
You should be able to do that, but you will have the DRL on dim when the headlights are turned on. The turn signal will still totally work with the DRL fuse tap not installed!

I have these now and was wondering which bulbs are used in case they go out?
These headlights do not have replaceable LED bulbs. Morimoto offers a 5-year warranty on these headlights to cover any failures.
I have gtr ultr 2's in these headlights will this morimoto headlight be brighter?
This headlight will be brighter overall, thanks to those multiple LED projectors! Not to mention the fact that you never have to fiddle around with installing or removing a pair of bulbs for anything in the headlight!
In every picture and video of these new headlights, the bottom high beam projector is on with the top low beam. What do these look like during normal driving without the brights on?? Does the bottom led strip light up even when only the top projector is on?
All of the LED projectors are lit for both low and high beam, and same for the DRLs! The DRLs will dim when you have your headlights turned on. Let us know if you have any other questions!
@@HeadlightRevolution Thanks for clarifying that. One more question. I have a leveled 2014 silverado with LED bulbs in stock reflector housings. I have adjusted the lamps as far down as they will go, but the light is still way too high. Do these new headlights have any more downward adjustment than the stock headlights?
These will have roughly the same adjustability as the factory ones, but the LED bulbs may be causing flaring in that reflector housing, and that may actually be what is flashing oncoming traffic. The LED projectors in the XB LED Headlights will produce a much better beam for you, and should not be bothering oncoming traffic at all!

Are you able to turn the DRL off with the switch or do they come on and stay on with the key?
They do come on with the key, and then they will dim when you turn the high beam on!

You would definitely not have to buy a whole set, as they are covered under the amazing 5-year warranty! If you ever have one go out, you would just shoot us an email and we would get that replaced for you!

How come your headlights show the drl's have to be powered through the fuse box what other headlight replacement companies show that the DRL can be powered off of the gray wire running through the main plug . Just wondering why the difference
Most other headlights don't have the unique features like the XBs, such as a DRL that dims when the high beam is turned on and the sequential start-up feature!

Am i the only one that wants to know what happens if one of the lights goes out??? I know they are LEDs but anything can fail. Being a sealed box sounds like im ripping the front end of my truck apart again if there ever is an issue, or is there a way to replace any of them?
Most issues can be fixed via troubleshooting, if all else fails then Morimoto will send you a brand new headlight as a replacement.

With the cost of OEM LED housings out there, this is awesome to have since they are cheaper and come with a 5-year warranty as opposed to the 1 or 2-year warranty. These days you could find replacements for cheap. So many people out there ordering new ones because the truck is so common now and selling their old ones for cheap.
