    I'm from Europe and most cars over here (also mine, VW Group) are with an H7 socket.

    How do these LEDs work in a reflective housing? Wont they blind incoming traffic since they are not in a projective housing?

    • @diodedynamics
      @diodedynamics  4 года назад

      That's correct! These were designed to mimic the halogen filament location, so it provides more light output to the road where you need it, without causing glare to oncoming traffic. They are compatible with both reflector and projector housings. Check out the video below for more information on using LED bulbs in reflector housings!

    I was gathering my cart to purchase my sets of lows and highs for my 14 silverado, until I noticed high beams are not offered. I regularly drive with my high beams as I work 2nd shift and live in the country. Being that color temperature varies from brand and company, I do not want two types of colors when I flick back and forth. Any options available? I really like that you are USA built. I would like to support that, and the quality it comes with. Please let me know.
    Thanks!

      Hey Steve - we do not offer a high beam for this specific vehicle due to a fitment issue. Overall, these bulbs are very universal and work in the majority of cases, with some rare exceptions like the Silverado.

    My eyesight has been marginal since birth. With experience and careful defensive driving habits I have not been in an accident for decades; HOWEVER companies like yours do not consider how you are affecting road safety! Continuing to "up the ante" on lumens is so very cold in the service of greed. Wish there were ample regulations to put you out of business. I encounter these blinding headlights often and when it is raining it makes it almost impossible for me to see.

    • @diodedynamics
      @diodedynamics  7 месяцев назад

      We're sorry to hear about that. Here at Diode Dynamics, we separate ourselves from other brands by focusing light output only where the driver needs it. Our SL1 LED bulbs were engineered, designed, and tested in house at our headquarters in St. Louis, MO to mimic the filament output pattern to that of factory halogen bulbs. You won't find that in cheap LED options. One common mistake many LED users make is improperly aiming their headlights, making driving challenging for other drivers around them. This is out of our control, however we do have a video on how to aim your headlights to meet DOT standards. you can find the link to that video below.
      We pride ourselves in making the driving experience better for our customers, while not hindering visibility to other drivers. Thanks for checking us out!
