I am hugely thrilled to hear not only u observe the actual lux measurement, the light retention overtime, the actually wattage, AND I am very thrilled to see the real kelvin temperature measurement as well. This is what we are waiting. And it’s all thanks to u man. ❤️🔥❤️🔥👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 I truly wish that if I can subcrice to u multiple times 🤣🤣🤣🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
My favorite thing about the Diode Dynamics SL2 PRO is that they should fit under most vehicles dust caps and retain some heat inside the housing for the winter time. I'd like to see some manufacturers put out 3000-4000K color temps!
My favorite thing about the diode dynamic SL2 pro is , the tst led chip how it have the positive and negative connector at the top so the led chip can manage the heat properly., and the fan at the top .
My favorite thing about Diode Dynamics SL2 Pro is their Quality and their reliability. I can always trust they will work out of the box and provide an excelent light pattern.
My favourite thing is that this is an integrated unit with less failure points and lifetime warranty, AND that the chipset is even closer in dimensiins to the halogen filament. It will better ensure that the beam pattern is in compliance as designed by the manufacturer.
When I did the Auxilam H11 test I touched the heat sink and it was pretty hot, and I was thinking to myself wish that heat can be sent to the front of the housing. But I wonder if all that heat sent to front the LED chips won't last long? Or produce poor light output?
My favorite thing about the diode dynamics - SL2 pro, is the real observation about the color temperature measurement and the construction of the led bulbs that they put in. Because it’s very very intriguing and super satisfied that they put so much effort into this. As a Lasfit enthusiast, this brand is indeed the best. That’s my honest opinion from me to Diode Dynamics: 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
I like these comparisons, I would like to see someday that these bulbs are tested on distances as well, if it helps you see better at night driving as well.
Take a look at my spreadsheet at carlightreviews.com/headlightspecs and review/compare the data based on the categories that are important to you. That should help!
My favorite thing about the Diode Dynamics SL2 Pro is that they are already in my car, replacing an SL1 pair with one fading bulb. The lifetime warranty will be much appreciated.

Would it be possible to get a test on dual beam bulbs that have the high and low in one bulb? I have h13’s and I feel like the same bulbs that I try after watching your videos have a bit different performance. I know it varies from different housings and such but I feel like there might be some differences between the performance of a single beam and dual beam bulb. For example between the bulbs I've tired some use one led chip for low and the other chip for high beam. Other led bulbs use one chip for low and both chips at once for high. It makes the spread really wide when they use both at once.
I might be late for this, But MY favorite thing about The Diode dynamics sl2 pro is that it has an awesome cutoff line, allong with the easy plug and play system Mind you I have all there products on my F150 and never had I problem with any of them, KNOCK ON WOOD
Greetings, can you review on any 4500k LED light. Imo 4500k colour temperature LED works best at both dry and raining season due to warmer colour temperature but not to warm to affect the aesthetic and the brightness.
Love your content but surprised to see you conflate temperature and total heat output. A bub in theory could be 1 million degrees and put out 1 watt. Conversely a bulb could run at 150° and output 300 watts.
I am not relating heat and wattage together, I am only listing the observed measurements of each category, one after the other. Or did I misunderstand your question? If so, tell me more about your thoughts. Thanks!
There's a few factors to that. It really comes down to compatibility of the reflector wit the light that is being replaced. The other aspect is how well the lights are aimed. Even a old worn out halogen can blind oncoming traffic if it is not aimed correctly.
My favorite things about the Diode Dynamics SL2 is that it was made in the U.S, which means the spec are 100% real so you’re not getting scammed and they don’t throw outrageous numbers. It is built well and will definitely last you a while, it has life time warranty.
A few years ago Diode Dynamics Sent me a letter to surrender my SL1 LED's and offered to send me a brand new HALOGEN bulb to replace it with. I had since sold the car so there was no need. They said the DOT came after them because their bulbs were too bright and went beyond the maximum number of lumens permitted.
4:50 The price is $199.95. The price should be in your title. I would have known immediately this is not for me, and I wouldn't be annoyed with you right now.
It seems many of their cheaper bulbs are just Chinese bulbs with tweaks. Like the 7443 switchback, which I was unimpressed with. The white was nice and bright but the amber was barely as bright as the halogen and the color was a bit off. Same thing with some of their other 7440 and similar series bulbs. But it looks like their more expensive stuff is more impressive, but personally, I find the LASFIT to be as good or better for much cheaper.
@@Josh.Davidson Lasfit, Auxito? Auxbeam, and even Morimoto 7440/7443 switchbacks with built in resistors and a cooling fan (except Lasfit without a cooling fan) have the brightest led bulbs in its production. I mean we’re talkin between 24W-30W per bulb. Price is between $38-$60 a pair.
@@Josh.Davidson actually. Lasfit T3 wasn’t as bright as the old T2. Because people find them too bright. And it’s super soft bright amber. And they product 24W 2000 lumens each.
