Special thanks to Hasbro for sending out an advanced set of the Amazon exclusive Marvel Legends Wolverine 5 pack. When it comes down to it it's three new characters for the shelf, a Wolverine variant I was wantin, and I actually dig the alternate Omega Red more than the first. Totally works for me.

wish they would move to the thicker wolverine claws we've gotten in recent history, or play off the Fox movie wave claws, these thin ones aren't CUTTING it any more.

For Omega Red, the logo on his headband on the old one is easy to paint yourself. On the new one, getting the logo onto his hands is a lot harder. Plus, I prefer the silver tentacles/cables of the older version to the white ones on the new version. I'm gonna stick to the old one for him.
I think they should've had Yukio (w/ sword & throwing knives) instead of Callisto in this set. Hopefully they'll make Callisto for another wave & she'll have alt. tendril-arms & knives as accessories. Mastermind should've been replaced w/ Stryker in religious attire (w/ an alt. Nimrod forearm as an accessory). Cyber should've had alt. hands w/ more needle-like fingertips.
Yeah I canceled my pre-order for this, because I realized the only figure I wanted was Calisto. So I decided when this does come out I'll just buy her seperate from ebay.
I only want omega red, can we find 2 others that want Mastermind and Cyber? I said 2 because I assume nobody wants another Wolverine
@@Lacaframalama Right, you actually had me laugh out loud with the Wolverine line. Yeah I had no attachment to Cyber, the only part of Mastermind I was interested in was his head, because Like Robo I remember him in a suit either with or without the trenchcoat. And I'm happy with the first release Omega Red.

All Wolverines should come with those X Force Wolverine claws. So sick of the skinny claws. They never sit right and are not intimidating at all for a Wolverine character.

The dark eye circles on the mastermind head reminds me of the 90's x-men cartoon Morph from the later episodes, just get rid of the mustache and I think it would work

I did NOT need any more Wolverines, but I didn't have any of the other 4, so I preordered this, I will do a head and hand swap and turn the Wolverine into another evil Son of Wolverine. This way I get 5 Villains. And I always need more villains!
Also, if you get a long coat for the wanted poster Mastermind head, it's actually 6 villains!

My Calisto came with 2 left feet, but that's fine by me, I just included it in her lore. Calisto: the mutant with 2 left feet lmaoo

I’m so ready for cyber and omega red and mastermind is going with my brotherhood even if it’s not the right costume you can never have too many wolverines but I don’t know what I’ll do with Callisto
Im thinking of using the coat from old man logan (from the 2pk with old man Hawkeye) on a loki or moebius body for classic Mastermind
As much as I don't really like getting comic figures (with exceptions), I'm tempted to build a collection of comic book xmen. I already have a couple wolverines, so I think cyclops is next for me.
The "sharpe' finger tips on Cyber's hands remind me of Stryfe's. They look very similar.
Hope they do solo reissues of omega and cyber. Aftermarket omega is still bananas.

Seeing this review had me worried because I don't think I could afford this right now if it was shipping already. Thankfully mines still says Nov 1😂. I'm cool with every figure and i like the set. I think maybe cyber finger tips could be more pointy and I'm good with his size despite knowing Sam Keith draws him more bulky. Which I have seen that criticism about the Marvel legends cyber a lot. I surprised hasbro hasn't used the mohawk storm\callisto body or parts of it to make a marvel legends lila chenny yet.

Wolverine #79 I think has Cyber in it. Wolverine with bone claws after Magneto ripped out the adimantium. I think eventually they ripped off Cyber's adimantium to reinfuse Wolverine's bones.
Maybe the duster jacket from the 2-Pack version of Old Man Logan would work for Mastermind. 🤔
I like the new Wolverine headsculpt. I never like the older ones.
Cyber seems to be perfect for kitbashing into a Batman.
They need to find a way to put a mask on wolverines new heads and use it for more Wolverine figures
I believe the retro carded tan Wolverine would be a better colour match than the Juggernaut wave one(looks like that was the one you used for comparison).

I believe the Hellfire club guys use the SDCC exclusive movie Logan torso and arms. Could be mistaken with the torso, but arms for sure.
I didn't get the SDCC Logan either, so I can't confirm that.
If you got a mobius body could you try the stock head of mastermind on it to have a classic design....

If they were making these based off of reuse they should have put Sabretooth, o MegaRed, Cyber & put Lady Deathstrike in this box that instead of the villains wave and put a different villain in that wave. They could have gave Sabertooth a new head sculpt because he needs one
But Sabretooth is a big enough name to get a single release. I don't see Callisto on that same level.

Detents. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Detent Essentially, the ratcheting or clicking in the joints. Of course, I'm just now learning that I say it wrong, D-tents instead of de-tents, but I blame that on my accent, haha!

Logan: body hair - yup. Our farrier had a full "shirt" of body hair. I thought he took off his white shirt to a black shirt one summer. Mom didn't mind.... 'O'

Loki headswap is a good idea since we don't have a brown trenchcoat. Luis could work as well.

Omega Red, I was never a fan, only lucked into him at my store thanks to someone returning TWO, one day. I was more about the Sauron BAF parts.
Callisto, I kept putting off using a spare Apoc/punk Storm, but now have Rhea Ripley, who I'm also using for Drednok Zarana and her niece.
also: $120 for FIVE figures +accys vs $125 for THREE Excalibur?? That ain't right.
