I always thought a better ending would be Turok left on the planet, surviving and thriving. They put so much emphasis on his heritage that I figured he would go back to an older way of life at the end.
This was such a good game. I bought it from a local department store that put it on the shelf a few days before the actual release. I'm pretty sure the people that were playing online were devs when I booted it. Too bad they never made a sequel.

I have to say, this is probably one of the scariest and most badass interpretations of the T-Rex I have ever seen, only falling short to Jurassic Park's T-Rex. I really love how massive it feels here with it's heavy stomps and sluggish movement. Definitely sells the idea that this thing is dangerous and will smash you like a bug or chomp you into two if you aren't careful enough. The facial design is very unique too. I like the monstrous teeth, and of course the "scar" covering one half of its face is super badass. I wish we got another Turok game with modern graphics and gameplay, I think the right developer team could give a remake of this game the proper justice it deserves
I don't usually find T-Rexes scary and such, or dinosaurs in general. But this fucking fight had me shitting myself 'round the clock, just knowing she can insta-kill you if you stand in the killzone in front of her for too long, and that she is always on your ass so you pretty much never *leave* the fucking killzone. Such a great game, but man was it hard for little 10 year old me.

This is my favorite Turok iteration and my favorite game. I loved the 64 version but this one made more sense and realistic in a sense and they kept a lot of the original concepts of the older turok games. his native american heritage, the dinosaurs enemies, the human enemies, most of the weapons
I was a kid when this game was about. I had played the classic Turok like crazy on my older PlayStation 2 and this game honestly molded me once it came out for 3. This knife fight as a child was intense since you can’t tap as fast with your little fingers but after the back and fourth I drew a animalistic roar I never thought I could do until I fought the trex. When my brain worked how to formulate a plan and once I beat the trex I had felt extremely accomplished cause even as a kid I understood it was an apex and thought I whole heartedly could take on a trex afterwards when possible 💀

I was 10 when I first played this game, waited until my older brother wasn't home lol. I never could get very far in it, but one of my earliest gaming memories
the only other scene in a game that remotely came even close to making me pucker up as bad as this was the screechers in Dead Space 2 when you first fight them. however just the fucking rumbling of this Trex running after you around the map no matter how many times you do it, you still feel as if its 1mm behind you the whole way.

@@mendelgrumenelite4331 my problem was with random scripted one shots. Idk how to explain it but a lot of times a death cutscene started even of it doesn't bite me at least once. But normally it bites me and then after 1 or 3 seconds death cutscene starts
This one took me at least 100 tries. I remember going for all the achievements before the eventual death of this game. Wouldn't mind a remaster of this. But first we need all the other ones first and Armorines.
I didn't suffer too much with this one; in my case, it was the water beast. And I'm sure there's no studio out there willing to remake this game or make a sequel for it unless the fans do it themselves.
I don’t think it’s hard now but at the time it came out I thought it was cool. Gunship (I didn’t use the turrets lol, just shot it over and over) into a cool/hard (hard for me at the time) QTE into a really tanky monster with one shots. I hadn’t played a ton of shooters at this point so I thought it was hard. Loved that it was 3 very different phases. Would still probably go in my top 50 bosses!

This was a quite anxiety inducing battle, a great improvement over the fight in "Mother Superior".

Online was the best I absolutely loved the knife fights on it and the toxicity and funny dudes man beat experience I ever had
I couldn't defeat it without cheats on normal, I can't imagine how hard it is on Inhuman
With some practice it will be so easy, just make some distance between you and use a cover when it's close
