Because if i remember correctly this required two controllers. One that shoots and the other to walk around. Imagine holding one controller in one hand and using the pistol or another controller to shoot. It sucked because you had to move and shoot at the same time. Also if you had a friend steering or shooting, it would be difficult to communicate what ur both looking at. One would stray away from where you needed to go or if you werent paying attention you would miss shots.

I remember being absolutely TERRIFIED by this game as a kid. Specially the third boss fight with the two "T-rexes", I never finished it. I didn't had balls that age, even God of War was pure nightmare fuel for me.
Rail shooters should really come back. I can't think of a more fun time than having a light gun and being able to play shit like this again. Area 51, Time Criss, etc. All of those old arcade shooters with the fake guns as controllers kick so much ass.
