- Welcome to Turok. Play as Joseph Turok and survive a planet filled with dinosaurs on your hunt to capture the villain and leader of wolfpack Kane.
Summary of this part:
After exiting the base we discover that the bridge is destroyed, upon investing we learn why and then enter a cave system filled with cave raptors. We then teach them catch using a flare like a good dad until leaving them without a father figure. We escape the cave, getting into a few battles and run into a new friend named Reese

I remember stayng inside of the log for like a whole hour just because I was too scared and nervous, I miss playing this game so much, my childhood; these dinosaurs models were wild and so scary, I love it.

I remember the first time I saw Scarface when she attacks those dudes I was thinking how the hell am I supposed to fight that thing lol
I never realized that this was an entirely different dinosaur than the main T-Rex.

I remeber i used to stay in cover in the log or behind one of these rocks just to watch the giganotosaurus/t-rex devouring and roaring at the raptors. Fun stuff

This giga here looks more like a tyrannosaurid although the game had a very accurate model when the game was in early development but for some unknown reasons they made and used this model but honestly this design looks so scary for a dinosaur in my opinion.
Bro for real, this Gigantosaurus looks much sleeker and scarier than the Dominion one. Dominion looks too much like MonsterVerse Godzilla imo

I think in this part of the game it is a giganotosaurus. It looks completely different from the rex. Something i never picked up on to be honest.
Love this mission very very extremely very very much more an also Death Valley is one of the world's most top mission of all times an also has a T Rex in that one. An one of my world's number 1 King of all Dinosaur of all times an also taking on those Raptors also since the Raptors have no chance on a T Rex definitely.
It’s more of Giga snack time than T-Rex snack time in the Death Valley location in Turok.

Yes and its early model design was an accurate Giganotosaurus but the final design is a really scary Trex that has three-fingered arms.

Looks more like Skull Island V-Rex. It has three fingers per claw unlike T-Rex.
Edit: This game in some ways remind me of Peter Jackson's King Kong from 2005. Similar graphics and textures.
what i liked to theorize on why the giga looks like a tyrannoid is because on this planet the giga's try to deceive other actual t-rex into thinking its one them and when they're not looking they ate their child for it exlpains why momma kept her nest in a forest because the giga woulnd't try to go into the forest
