They did make the t rex accurate in the prologue making it feathery. But then again, bringing back creatures from the past who had been extinct for millions of years cannot ensure that they could make it accurate so rexy is still valid

Scientists who've checked 'bone growth rings' in fossils have found that large canosaurs like Giganoto/Carcharodonto/saurus got to about 50+ years of age before they died, while Tyrannosaurs (I'm not sure if they mean just the Rex or the whole extended family) seemed to never have gotten older than 25 years old, probably due to the rather high risk lives they led--especially males who needed to impress big alpha females with their status, by probably doing something really stupid.
I love how her story came full circle. Her ancestor lost to the giganotosaurus and in the end she defeated one. The jurassic Park franchise was based on her the entire time. She was always the star in my eyes!
I was hoping she would defeat the giga on her own and have her die from the blood loss. I know she is old but man it would be an epic fight since she had more experience than the giga.
Rexy is my favorite, followed closely by Blue. I know some people were pushing for her to die in this film, but when it looked like she was dying, I started crying like I did when they killed the brachy in fallen kingdom. I’m so glad she made it to the end.
I agree with you this T-Rex will always be my favorite of the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World movies. As an adult 25 yr old woman I get chills and legit cry everytime she appears on screen yes even in the theaters, I've balled my eyes out in front of strangers lol.
@Syed Hussaini Those were against raptors after that she fought against dinos of equal size to her so it's only natural she'd get pushed around a lot more and harder and she's definitely not used to being the second fiddle of anything if anything her stubbernous is what allowed her to win.
Totally agree. Of course she is old in this one, so I can understand if she's not as strong as before, but still, can't do too much damage to the face of the franchise.
I'm glad Rexy's survived the whole Jurassic World run, and now she has a chance for a real family, maybe even a child of her own with Buck if Doe is willing to help her out. After all Camp Cretaceous shows Rexy still has strong nesting instinct even though she's never been pregnant. I guess that's one reason why Fallen Kingdom had her roaring at a Lion; she's the dinosaur equivalent of one.
She’s probably way too old to reproduce to have a baby Plus the JP Rex’s mate for life, Rexy mating with the buck would either have to be by force (the dinosaur equivalent of Rape) or The Male leaves the Doe for Rex (the dinosaur equivalent having an affair) But either way the Doe would kill her and exile the Buck thus even if she ended up Gravid, the unborn babies would die alongside their mother Rexy would need to find another Male T.Rex if she wants a mate for reproduction, it’ll have to either be Junior (The Son of the buck & doe) if he’s in the Biosyn sanctuary or and this is my opinion a fully feathered T.Rex from the Cretaceous prologue that Biosyn clones

Rexy is the iconic dinosaur that made a whole generation love her and get into dinosaurs. I honestly dont think I wouldve been fascinated [and obsessed] by them if it wasnt for Rexy.
Rexy meeting the Buck and Doe at the end of Dominion was so heartwarming. She'd gone three decades alone and then she finds others like her. The old girl really is the GOAT. I'm curious about the baby Rex from TLW. He wasn't with his parents at the end of Dominion. He's either dead or eluded capture when the Nublar and Sorna dinosaurs were relocated.
@spawnagain113 they confirmed it wasn't him. There were also some physical factors that didn't add up between the two, mainly coloration. So no, the sub-adult killed by the Spino wasn't the son.
@@25Erix the Spino killing the Rex in JP3 was such BS anyway. yes the Spino is technicly bigger but it's not as well built. even on screen it looks silly.
@@briandavion You can thank Jack Horner for that. He was never a Rex fan and believed size was everything. Never mind that a Rex skull was designed to crush bone while a Spino skull was evidence of its fish diet.

I think Rexy was my first childhood movie hero and my love for the first JP movie took me on a great journey of finding other cinematic movies featuring prehistoric creatures whether it be King Kong, The Valley of Gwangi, The Land Before Time, and of course, the Godzilla series. I just really loved dinosaurs and I've carried that fascination with me into my mid-30's now and it all started because of her.
Will forever be my favorite from the franchise, I'm glad they didn't kill her and I'm also glad she got a happy ending. I hope we see her return in a future JW project even if it's just for a quick cameo. Long live Rexy the true queen of the dinosaurs.
I have loved Rexy my entire life, I sobbed my heart out in the very packed cinema when I thought Giga had killed her. I'm so glad she survived and finally found a family of her own. I really hope to see more of Rexy but if not, I'm happy and content with her ending.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but she didn't find a family of her own at the end of Dominion, she just saw 2 other T-Rexes, but T-Rexes aren't super social creatures like that
One of my main concerns in Dominion is that Rexy would get killed off, and I was crushed when I thought they did it for a few minutes. But she's truly a tough old girl... what I like in particular is that when she's facing an opponent younger than her and doesn't have that advantage herself, she fights smarter and takes other advantages wherever she can get them. I'm glad she made it to the end and will hopefully enjoy the rest of her retirement in relative peace.
The first Giga and Rexy interaction in the forest over the deer carcass is my favourite part of the Dominion movie. It is the most natural when it comes with two apexes not killing each other, just a bit of a scare you off and let it be.
agreed. there was SERIOUS push back when JP3 came out and they tried to turn the Spinosaurs into the new "Mascot" people LIKE the Rex. and frankly while there are bigger dinos, most aren't as well built as a rex.
Rexy, the undisputed Queen of JP. Whilst I think they downplayed her in Dominion to create dramatic effect for the Giga it was still awesome to see her with the two other Rex at the end.
To be fair, she's old for a Rex (estimated 40 year lifespan on average in the wild). She wasn't so much downplayed as she was showing her age. She's not as spry as she used to be and her two real opponents (the Giga and the Indominus) were much younger than she was. Both also had a size advantage. Had she been younger, she probably wouldn't have too much trouble.
@@25Erix plus the Indominous was a freak of nature and a savage brute who killed for sport, and Rexy's 1st round with Indominous was merely a territorial dispute to her, but after getting back up for round 2, she knew it was a fight to the death since I think she was fueled by rage and adrenaline to eliminate her foe. She may be old, but a tough old fossil and will do whatever it takes to prove she's at the top of the food chain
I’m can’t believe she’s really old around 29 years old she fought her life like a Jurassic veteran…. She will always be the queen of Jurassic Park..🥹 she is my favorite dinosaur of all time and it’s somehow I can’t stop crying
Rexy is absolutely my favorite dinosaur! T-Rex is iconic and every time I see her I’m filled with the same awe that I had as a kid. So thankful she gets to live a happy and peaceful life the rest of her days. 💜
Nice video! I'm so glad Rexy has her happy ever after. She escaped Jurassic Park, survived some raptors, lived on nublar with a tooth infection, captured for jurassic world, escaped jurassic world, almost got killed by the I-rex, killed the I-rex, survived a blowing up volcano, lived in california for 3 years, survived an apatosaurus tail whip (which might I say is rather impressive.) Got transported to the Biosyn sanctuary, survived 2 Giganotosaurus attacks and is finally at peace with Buck and Doe Also, weird thought. If Buck and Doe are named after deer gender, then why isn't the junior rex called Fawn, (a baby deer).
It didn't kill the I-Rex, it was helped by Blue and it was finished off by the Mosasaurus. I-Rex was about to give the killing blow to Rexy until Blue came back to help out. So if anything the legit kill goes to The Mosasaurus bc it jumped out of the water to eat the I-Rex. I-Rex would have won had Rexy and Blue not gotten I-Rex near the water
As a mascot for the franchise, I'm kind of sad that she's always in some sort of underdog status where she has not yet beat an alpha threat by herself, solidifying that she is a powerhouse. She's gotten help from Blue, Theri, and humans alike. A part of me just thinks that they don't want her to be such an Alpha but a symbol to what John Hammond always wanted her to be. She definitely does have her moments, and I'm always happy that she never dies yet always has battle scars from every movie she has been in as experiences she's gone through.
Am I the only one who didn’t see the ending battle of dominion as a team up? The Therizinosaurus didn’t really seem to get a choice in the matter as it was just dragged into the fight, it looked more to me like Rexy taking advantage of a situation. Hell the theri probably had no idea what was going on considering that it’s blind!
@@texasroze2371 its most likely just a constant in the species in the Jurassic Park universe. However if it’s just this one individual I presume it lost a fight pretty hard, in-fact thinking about it considering how open ended the Camp Cretaceous season 5 ending was, I like to think that it possibly lost a fight with the spinosaurus which could very much happen and would make sense canonically
Agreed Rexy has shown to be smart and also T Rex was one of the smartest dinosaurs to live so she saw the Giga was distracted and unprepared while noticing the Theri's claws' position so she had a plan of what to do to win
@The Megalosaurus King As Easy as those claws went throught the Giga, makes me think that Spino would also lose. Those Claws are DEADLY. Tho anything is posible. But even if Spino winned, it would be heavily injured. The Theri is of those dinasours that any predator would think twice to mess with.
Hugs with lots and lots of kisses for Rexy. I love her more than I can ever try to explain. I can't get enough. While she's very tough on the outside, I just have the inate sense that she has a warm and sweet heart beneath it all. I see red when people talk bad about her and I let my voice be heard. Nobody disrespects my Queen and gets away with it!
After all shes been through, its comforting to know she'll live the rest of her days with a new family. By the way where junior, I know hes an adult by now but I hope hes in the valley too.
I’ve had a love of dinosaurs all my life. Absolutely amazing that such creatures ever existed! My childhood favorite was the Stegosaurus, as an adult, that hasn’t changed. That said, Rexy is and will always be, the most iconic dinosaur to ever exist in cinema. I was 7 years old when i seen Jurassic Park debut back in 1993, an I will NEVER forget when she first stepped out of that broken paddock.
I’ll always Maintain that the scene where Rexy breaks out of her pen and we see her for the first time in JP and the scene at the end of JP when’s she’s roaring and the banner falls in front of her are without question 2 of the greatest scenes in all of cinema history
It’s going to be sad when Rexy passes away from old age, but that’s how life works, I hope we have enough time left to see her sacrifice her life fighting another villainess dinosaur.
I really thought that in this film they would write out a perfect but sad, natural causes due to her age type send off. Her in the woods, laying a nest of some sort, drifting off, maybe Ellie and Zia helping with vitals of some sort, homage to the trike scene and of course Zia’s background as a paleovetrinrean (sp?) somber JP theme, sunset golden hour sun rays through forest tops. For me that would’ve been the most heartbreaking moment and true end of Jurassic Park/World saga. I’m happy that though the films have ended, we’re allowed to still have the fantasy of the world alive in us and that she is alive as we saw in the film. ….. also Colin first and foremost said that he would not kill her off. Even before production lmao
This is awesome 😎 I was 10 years old in 93 when Jurassic Park came out. I am now 40 years old and still love this franchise. Things have changed but still brings me back to my childhood
In the books she had a juvenile with her, I guess they didn't want to have two giant dino puppets. She might have been just as memorable if they'd followed the book. The boat and water fall scences would have been awesome.
Now Rexy has become the most iconic Tyrannosaurus rex, or better, the most iconic dinosaur in all Jurassic Park franchise, her name now is a legend, the first carnivore created for the park and the longest-live one
I wish I could love this video. Rexy is my favorite dinosaur of all time. I'm a BIG Jurassic Park fan. It's my favorite movie and movie series. T Rex is the best dino. This was very informative and fun.
Your next video should be about the Spinosaurus. It is also the last living legacy dinosaurs from the Jurassic trilogy with a big mystery lore about it.
I feel like people havent talked about spino. It too is near the end of its life. People often think its evil when really its just an animal. Nature isnt mean or nice. Its indifferent. And spino, though being controversial and overshadowed, I think should have the same fate as rexy
The Carno has had appearances in Camp Cretaceous and in Dominion. The Baryonyx also got appearances in Camp Cretaceous and Fallen Kingdom. And the Allosaurus was in Fallen Kingdom, Battle of big rock, and got mentioned by Ben in Season 3 episode 2 of Camp Cretaceous and I think it was in Dominion.
Long live the Queen Rexy! Hope she gets to rest easy and isn’t killed off in some stupid careless way. Hope she gets to live with her new family and rest peacefully. Rexy is the reason I fell in love with the TRex!
Ever since my dad showed me the first Jurassic Park when I was 3, I have always loved Rexy. She’s my favourite, I think it’s because of her timeless charm of being the first dinosaur we see in the series :)
When I was a kid, I could genuinely do her roar to the perfect t at a ridiculous volume. My aunt's and uncles would ask me to show everyone. She started my love with sci-fi. And loved every single second she was on screen. Long live the Queen of the Dinosaurs.
Rexy is definitely my favorite dinosaur of all time, not just in the Jurassic P / W franchise. I hope to see her in future movies. Maybe they can spin it on genetic manipulation being used to prolong her life to limit the number of T-Rex InGen needed to create, i.e. saving money.
Yes Rexy is my favorite and I’m so glad she didn’t die. I hope with whatever comes next she’s actually not in it and gets to just live life I think this was a good end for her. What do we think happened to the Jr Rex from the lost world? Do we think he’s at Biosyn too?
Correct, it was "Bull" who died or killed by the Spino in prime., but let's say for now that the Jr rex is going on a journey by itself. If ever we see that bad boi in a next JW movie, I'd be beyond hype if it also looked badass, I wonder how old is that rex now.
I remember getting choked up in the theater when I thought the indominus rex was going to cause a repeat of JP3, and then the cheerful screaming I let out when her and the most unlikely of allies (a raptor) turned the tide. Then at the very end, when you see her scars from JP1, I couldnt help but start bawling as I realized it was the same rex.
Check out the entire story of Blue’s life!

Nerfed? Or aged?
@Syed Hussaini Those were against raptors after that she fought against dinos of equal size to her so it's only natural she'd get pushed around a lot more and harder and she's definitely not used to being the second fiddle of anything if anything her stubbernous is what allowed her to win.
Totally agree. Of course she is old in this one, so I can understand if she's not as strong as before, but still, can't do too much damage to the face of the franchise.
@Syed Hussaini this
She was always quite old, she wouldn’t be able to fight similar sized dinosaurs in her late twenties or thirties
She’s probably way too old to reproduce to have a baby
Plus the JP Rex’s mate for life, Rexy mating with the buck would either have to be by force (the dinosaur equivalent of Rape) or The Male leaves the Doe for Rex (the dinosaur equivalent having an affair)
But either way the Doe would kill her and exile the Buck thus even if she ended up Gravid, the unborn babies would die alongside their mother
Rexy would need to find another Male T.Rex if she wants a mate for reproduction, it’ll have to either be Junior (The Son of the buck & doe) if he’s in the Biosyn sanctuary or and this is my opinion a fully feathered T.Rex from the Cretaceous prologue that Biosyn clones

One of the most famous T-Rex in the Jurassic series. Quite a veteran T-Rex, and Rexy is still going strong.
I think the TRex intro scene in JP is some of the best CGI ever, the lighting covers just enough to make it believeable even today.
I'm glad she made it to the end and will hopefully enjoy the rest of her retirement in relative peace.

c’est vraiment un très beau retour sur l’histoire de cette Rexy, MERCI , THANK YOU !

Also, weird thought. If Buck and Doe are named after deer gender, then why isn't the junior rex called Fawn, (a baby deer).
