      Would you not think Google FI simply unlimited, with 4 family members would be the best family plan? It is on T-mobile coverage with 35gbs of internet and not deprioritized in the ways that Metro and Cricket both are.

      Granted, I will add that Google Fi doesn't support 5G on iPhones, which is a pretty big downside for iPhone users. Metro by T-Mobile is a great option, too, and it supports all the features.

      Verizon completely screwed up my recent phone upgrade so this a helpful video for me. I ordered a new phone and they sent it to the wrong address because I am on my parents phone plan and they live 900mi away. In spite of being authorized with Verizon, they don't give me any ability to log into the account. I had to coordinate a login long distance just to be able to order the phone because they can't seem to figure out that if I am authorized, my number should come up as an option for 2FA.
      Their online ordering process is confusing because I kept looking for a place to change the shipping address and all I saw was "change service address", the note for which says "this will not affect your shipping address". as I clicked through, I got to a point where I fully expected to see a final confirmation page but it just went from agreeing to the contract to placing the order without any warning the order was actually going to be generated with the next button click.
      The real problem is that they have failed for about 11 years to actually populate the user info for my line with my name and address. My mother's name comes up on caller ID when I call someone. That is annoying to say the least and I think as we use phones more and more for everything, I fully expect it to start causing actual problems at some point. If they had the info right, they would presumably just automatically send the new phone for my line to my address.
      So it was my Mom who ended up placing the call to change the address because we were starting to question whether they actually had the authorization on record. Somehow it went from changing the shipping address to placing a duplicate order. And both were associated with the same line 🤦‍♂🤦‍♂
      I got one of the phones today. The extraneous one arrived at my parents house. Needless to say, when I went to set up the phone, things did not go smoothly. Instead, it just broke connectivity on my old phone and left me without a functional phone with which to call tech support to straighten it out. As a side note, 13 years ago when I had my first Android phone delivered to my house, I am pretty sure I actually had to call in order to activate the phone. Now, in their infinite wisdom, Verizon will not allow one of their new, locked phones with their SIM card call customer service on a toll free number because it isn't activated. How messed up is that?
      Tomorrow I am returning the phone. Both will be returned. I will have them restore service on my old phone and go repurchase it in unlocked form direct from Samsung because after this, I am not interested in having another 3 year contract with them. This whole experience was completely absurd and wasted a lot of my time. I get the impression Verizon is slipping and I don't want to be stuck with their service as it degrades. Verizon customer service just isn't what it used to be. We've been with Verizon for 23 years.

      @@StetsonDoggett I personally recommend T-Mobile but it all depends on where you live for me the coverage is great and the prices are really good, I have 3 lines and a T-Mobile home internet line and I am paying 40$/line and 30$ for the home internet, I have the magenta Max and I would say that's a pretty good price because magenta Max is the most prioritized plan from T-Mobile.

      5G has literally nothing to do with data consumption. the phone will only use as much data as needed to complete a task. someone who only uses social media when off of WiFi isn’t going to use anymore data on 5G than they would on LTE or even 3G.

    I ported my grandmother from straight talk to visible after watching your review about a year ago and joined your party. She is certainly happier with visible, especially at the time when straight talk was some absurd price for not a lot of data based on her use. She was paying over 55 dollars a month and she would still run out of data by the end of the month. She takes advantage of the unlimited hotspot regularly, and before her internet was installed she would regularly use over 250gbs of cellular data per month. Visible has been a great option and I thank you especially for introducing me and many others to the plan.

    I’ll make it simple if you have T-Mobile service in your area go with T-Mobile they’re the cheapest and they have price lock. If you travel just make sure you look at the map to make sure you’re not going to go to a spot that doesn’t have T-Mobile coverage. Also another thing to consider if you are a veteran a first responder go with T-Mobile because you get 50% off plans! I get 5 lines Al unlimited on T-Mobile One Military for $110.

  • @jaymasterflash9396
    @jaymasterflash9396 2 года назад +3

    Att offers 35 for each line for a family of 4 lines for thr lowest plan. And 200 for the highest. And that's on the regular postpaid plan. Also att offers discounts if you go to college, some work discounts (Amazon, allied security, etc) if your military, or first responder you get major discount too. So the highest plan being 85 can be reduced to 61 which includes hbo max and Hotspot and unlimited internet. If your a first responder and you are just a one liner. You can get first net which offers I think 45 for a phone plan and a free watch with a line and tablet. And some prioritize coverage no regular customer gets. I work there. That's how I know. 😬

Prepaid unlimited plans tend to be close or around the same price as postpaid but with prepaid you don’t get streaming bundles, 50% off connected devices, cloud storage, hotspot, and promotions like trade in promotions, BYOD promotions, connected device promotions, loyalty offer for saving on line cost, 55+ Loyalty discounts, and many more. If you truly want to educate yourself on how to save money with carriers then find a well educated sales rep and go over the promotions that are currently being offered.

    US mobile is cheap like all the other scab carriers like metro etc. Get what works in your area from the big providers so you won't have any issues like slow speeds.

  • @CloudPixel
    @CloudPixel 2 года назад

    Btw this may be a video idea you can't really do, but could you go over older plans that aren't available any more that consumers are very likely to still be using? And compare them? I know that certain people really should upgrade but they still think they have the best plans , and some people are being persuaded by the slick marketing and the plans they have right now are great because of grandfather pricing. I don't really know, if that's something you would be interested in but it's a idea.
