That seems like personal nostalgia and attachment to Nathan which shouldn't change your view on the game. Uncharted the lost legacy definitely isn't bad, better pacing than uncharted 4, better setpieces, better finale (although both were similar) better character interactions between Chloe and Nadine than Nate and Sam. And it actually made me like Sam.

Ok so the Lost Legacy was ORIGINALLY intended to be nothing more than A DLC, however NaughtyDog realized they could cash in double/triple if they just sold it as a Game on its own. Hence all the obvious downgrades in graphics quality, and the side story driven narrative.

All that is left is that fool Neil Cuckmann. Imo only those individuals who left could make uncharted at its best. The new teams are good, actually better in most ways than before, I mean, look at how stunning the last of us 2 is, but that is not the point. Neil druckmann watches over these developers, forcing his agendas. I’m glad we didn’t see any in lost legacy, but their future games might have SJW agenda thanks to Neil. Hopefully he learnt from his mistake.

If you've played the original uncharted games then you'll be happy to see Chloe again. It runs the same as Uncharted 4 but it adds in more mechanics, it's a slightly shorter game but only by a couple hours. You'll see a familiar face and some references from uncharted 4 and it's a pretty good story
