planning to take a train to ayutthaya right after arriving to BKK airport. how do you get to the terminal by public transit from BKK? and how much time would it take? thank you! :)
From Don Mueung Airport to Krung Thep Apiwat Station, it takes only 17 mins by Red Line train. More info here: ruclips.net/video/uU5kxwaDAAE/видео.htmlfeature=shared
Thank you very much for sharing this information, I haven’t been to this train station yet , this will be very helpful when I visit Thailand again.
Thanks for watching krub. Main services have just started in Jan 2023, so we are all new to this huge station. I was mesmerized by the size, design, and facilities of this central station. One think is that it is linked to Don Mueung Airport too! Now, it is much easier for us to travel to many parts of Thailand and many areas in Bangkok.
Love to hear my favorite sound track ❤😅
Me too! Thank you so much. I'm back :)
@@ArtThomyaJourney yes finally after few months, but I haven't visited Thailand again 😅😅
@@IanPaulSaligumba Hope to welcome you back again anytime.
this is a much better railway station than kl sentral in malaysia in terms of connectivity and integration with different lines, especially the mrt and monorail lines in kuala lumpur.
with a few electrified double-tracking projects taking place in thailand, it will be a much faster and more comfortable journey for those taking long-distance trains including the songkran festival travel rush. let's hope that the electrified double-tracking project will happen all the way to hat yai and eventually to padang besar in the near future. hence, we can take either the ktm ets or komuter trains to go around malaysia like penang and kuala lumpur and eventually to singapore once the double-tracking project to the causeway city of johor bahru is completed. it will be even better to go down to singapore once the new rapid transit system (rts) connecting johor bahru and woodlands in singapore completes.
Thank you so much for sharing wonderful information. We truly hope that ASEAN will be better connected via railway system shortly. Travelling from Thailand to Malaysia and Singapore will be more pleasant with sceneries along the way. 😃
This was interesting, the station looks very modern and comfortable.....and I like the food court, nice vid Art👏
Thanks, Marc! The station is huge. I like that the food court has local shops from small provinces in Thailand like Ranong. Now, it's easier to travel around Thailand and around Bangkok.
@@ArtThomyaJourney maybe I can catch a train from Bangkok to Udon Thani to see my fiancee family?
@@remarc69 Yes, you can. Enjoy your trip!
@@ArtThomyaJourney aahh, thanks Art🙏

Thank you so much. My team and I are delighted to work on this project. Hope it will be helpful for all travellers ;)
Enjoyed this informative summary of the connections and facilities that the new station offers. The station itself is an attraction in its own right with its immense scale and slick design. Looking forward to visit and perhaps board a train to elsewhere in Thailand. Thanks and have a good one Art! 👍👍👍
Thanks so much, Kevin. I have been excited about this new terminal and can't wait to explore my home country by train more this year!
