I have spent four beautiful years of my life in this beautiful country! I miss every second of it. Serenity, calmness, peace, loneliness was my only company!
Finland is much more than just Helsinki and Lappland. Last summer i visit in place called Koli is very beautiful place, especially in summer. Im finnish, but Helsinki is 1 of the last places where i want to visit. I appreciate more places like Pielinen(koli), Päijänne, Saimaa, Hossa, places in Lappland and Kainuu, etc. When im on vacation i want to see beautiful nature of Finland.
Hats off to Exposa for the tastefully straightforward and well-executed documentary. Makes me long to revisit Finland, a most wondrous place. Can anyone shed some light on the lovely song at 16:20? So very beautiful and ethereal. Kind regards from the USA.
looks so idyllic serene n wonderful full of nice people n beautiful women no wonder the Finish people are so easy to get on with relaxed kind n honest respect for you all
Kajaani is North of Helsinki,as I have visited Finland top to bottom. I played this video portion over and over. The narrator says it is located south? Am I hearing things?
Not only did Vaasa have to move it’s port to the west, so did Kokkola. Why? Because the Sea has been continuously receding for many centuries. It’s because of the effect of “ice-age rebound,” which, since the heavy overburden of crushing glacial weight no longer exists, the land is sort of “un-springing,”and literally rising. Finland is growing along its coast at the rate of 6 or 7 square kilometers a year. ....so if the sea is rising in the tropical low islands, it might be the fault of Finland!🥴🇫🇮😳
It has been said Finland is The mostt lutheran country in the world . Two statet's religion in Finland. LUTHERAN church and orthodox church, but mostly ppl belong to Lutheran church.
how many orthodox churches are there in finland? I have seen one so far and I have been to Finland about 14 times so far and i go there twice a year....
Oh boy, this episode must be full of wrong information. xD Forexample town of Kokkola: Katarina's square is not only to keep dead people in those buildings durin winter in old time. It is a plague victim GRAVEYARD 1710-1711. And the boat shown 19.10 has nothing to do with Crimean war that boat is a danish fishingboat Krunni and was used as a pub at marketplace in 2002-2008 and no longer excist. The real british Crimean boat is kept in glass room at England's park and it is not sailingboat but more like huge rowboat and full of bullet holes. I am also very surprised they told nothing about the cities like Vaasa, Tampere, Jyväskylä and Oulu etc.. And of course Kajaani is not in south of Finland. xD Mostly this episode is about long gone buildings, churches, parks and ruins. I wonder who's written this rubbish?
Finns were not fascists. Finland was between a rock and a hard place and defended their freedom and independence. Also Finland drove Germans away in The end. Also Finland retained it's independence and freedom. Finland was never a communist country.

Hiking in Finland's national parks is a nature lover's dream.

You'd swear this was shot back in the seventies. As is the same with all of the clips I've seen thus far.
+John Wagenvoort Not all of it was from the 70's, we did not have the fast ferries Helsinki-Tallinna then.

Out of the million things to do in Finland, they mostly talk about the Churches. *sigh*
what is that song, starting from 1:10?
Please! Подскажите прекрасную мелодию на 16:10
Darude-Sandstorm
Killer-Toni No! No! No! Another music! 16:10 - its melody!!!
Саша Щ. Да да,я пошутил.Но я не снаю ету мелодию.
The narration is good but the historical facts should get it right. Thanks

Why do you always have to instill such obnoxious noise into your videos. Why not some calming, soothing music if you have to put any in at all?
This music was terrible lol
The music is completely inappropriate. Sounds like music from 70s or 80s porn movies. What are they thinking? Totally ridiculous!
very annoying musoc
Wait, Finns were fascists, together with Germans!!! Is this new history growing?
They don't like to talk about it
They don't like to talk about it they also say that they won the war against Russia
@@shalommalca2125 It was not Russia. It was Soviet union. By The way Finland retained it's freedom and independence. That is a victory.
@@cinderellaandstepsisters I don't know why you call it Freedom when you need to go to the police to buy a bus ticket
