My Dart is ordered, thanks yet again for the advice..To all who fly, if you are reading this message, and you've not subscribed to Painless 360's channel... hit that button now .So much good stuff in every video, and so many to look back at. If you are thinking about it, Painless has most likely already reviewed it.... :-)
Love this! Your videos as insanely helpful. I started watching your pixhawk playlist to help setup my first ardupilot quad. Now I've subscribed and find myself wishing I could afford all the stuff I see on you channel.
I have the nano talon and I absolutely love it for FPV. I've beat that plane up so hard and it looks almost new still. Very efficient flyer, but if you're saying the Dart is even more so, I'll get one of those too!
The dart is super compact, flies great, and flies for ages on a little 850 milliamp hour battery pack. It's my go-to fpv wing just for having a nice flying fpv experience....
I feel like adding my 3 axis gimbal + action camera to one of these (250g total approx). Since the dart is several hundred grams lighter than the orbit, how about using the orbits 2208 motor and bigger battery to offset the gravity balance? Seems like it might work.
Hi, Great review, as always ! As a plane begginer, I realy like the Nano Talon, I found it realy smooth and the flight time is realy "relaxing" compared to my quadcopter xD Do you think about upgrading them with APM or an Inav systeme in the future ?
Great video! And you have helped me loads! So thanks but could please answer this question for a beginner! In none stabilized mode What rates and expo would you use on the nano? I keep flicking the switch out of stabilized mode and quickly get out of shape!
Expo is a very personal thing but 20-35% on ailerons and elevators with 10-15% on rudder for tricky models. I would set the radio up so you can’t ‘accidentally’ come out of stabilise too ;)
I"m actually looking into dabbling into fixed wing eventually. I am in the process of moving from radiolink to taranis. I was eyeing the qx7s but ran across a few forums stating the x9d is a better choice for fixed wings. Do you have any videos or recommendations about this?
Something about the sliders on the side but it was only 2 sites that mentioned this. I will get the q x7s based on your recomendation. Is the opentx version for the qx7 similiar enough that I can follow the x9d telemetry guide (yours) as a set of guidelines to set up telemetry? Also I just want to say THANK YOU FOR THE VIDEOS they are always informative and to the point. , I'd be a patreon if I wasnt a homeowner. However it was your video that taught me the basics of configuring and wiring a drone from my FLIP32 to my current DYS F4 AIO Board. Now I can wire almost any FC with just schematics and get them in the air.
I'm torn between the Nano Talon and the Orbit wing. I want a long range smooth flying fpv-hd camera flier. I have experience with brushless quads but no plane-wing experience. Please do a comparison of the Talon vs the Orbit. Love the great reviews.
Yet another great review I have just ordered myself a Dart as I too like a good flying wing. If you are interested Lee I have a friend that makes wings he has a very good following out in the community I can put him in touch with you if you would like that just pop me a message and I will sort it out all the best
Really enjoy your videos! Could you tell me what the minimum sized airplane would be for the FPV.Blue system? Also, are you planning to review the Nano Goblin? Thanks again!
If you buy a dart make sure you either laminate it or tape it because my dart broke it motor and tail off mid air and KO itself it needs to be beefed up so it doesn't come apart Sadly not as god as I though And it s not that I can't fly been fly line of sight 25 years
can someone give me advice on my first drone build? I am using the s500 frame and a seriously pro f3 flight controller. I need advice on motors, props and escs. also a battery that will last for at least 15 minutes with your suggested parts. plz help lol
+Ismaeel Ali please take a look at the 'quadcopter building for beginners' series, I've also got a series completely about the seriously pro F3 flight controller too, and I also have a series called 'introduction to remote control' that covers all the things you need to have a look at to make this setup. Best of luck with your investigation and build.
No idea, I've not tested it. The full sized Talon is a very capable airplane, and can carry an awful lot of weight. This smaller airframe is the same kind of design and should have a relative capacity. Best of luck
This review was so good I bought them both..
Thanks for the comparison of these two planes. I have seen much on both and they seem to be very popular planes. Happy Flying!

Thanks for posting this comparison! Great info!! Happy New Year to you and everyone you care for!

+marc coffey lots of it gets given away monthly to Patreons. Happy flying!

A remake of this video with the 250g Dart vs the Drift would be awesome!
Interesting idea. What specific things would you be interested in?
Following your video I just ordered the Dart that I will fly with my TBS Crossfire on FPV.
S700KY_FPV how did you hook it up to the crossfire
Great comparisons all of which I agree with. Now all you have to do is add the Orbit and compare all three. :)
Your wish is my command :D ruclips.net/video/PgmrHH7C230/видео.html

Nice review ! seems im going with Talon
Check out the review of the Orbit in the 'Fixed wing' playlist before making up your mind.. :D

Maybe, but they fly so well now that all us be adding is an OSD and RTH.. hmmm.. maybe! ;)
New iNav wing series will be starting in a few weeks - you can preview the first video here:

Great video as always!!. Is there any difference in noise? Talon looks like it might be a bit quieter

No idea why someone would think the QX7 wasn’t good for planes..
Something about the sliders on the side but it was only 2 sites that mentioned this.

+sptrader if I get one I'll look at that. I'd suggest getting a beater wing to practice on in the meantime..

Dart every time

Which have the highest carry weight limit?
Talon..
Painless360 how much?
Can it carry fire ext ball?
