What a wonderful gift to elderly at a nursing home. Having worked at nursing homes, I can tell you that the residents are so grateful for gifts. Many don''t get company and this will make them feel very special, and loved. I know your grandmother is looking proudly down smiling at you right now saying, that's MY Grandaughter !

This is amazing! I’m currently crocheting squats for a charity called knit a square where they collect squares then sew them into blankets for kids in South Africa. It’s a great and easy option if anyone wanted todo anything similar!

I love this Katie! ❤️ Those are such lovely and generous gift bags. Also, I just wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss. I started crocheting this summer after losing someone very close to me and it has been the most wonderful hobby. I did something very similar to you, by taking a sad situation and doing something good with my time, and made about 35 winter hats to practice different stitches and learn about adjusting patterns for sizing. I just donated them to a local family service center! 😊 Crocheting really does so much good in this world! ☺️ I love your channel and I am really enjoying seeing what you make, keep it up! ✨
