I have 408 peach trees . Every year, I put out 3 water buckets by 3 of the trees. The raccoons come in at night and only eat the peaches off the 3 trees with the water buckets. Our local zoologist cannot explain it but it keeps them from raiding the orchard. Go figure :)
Very respectful raccoons, and they don’t have to climb and pull the peaches themselves! ❤😂❤ it’s their way of thanking you for the buckets full of peaches-adorable! ❤😂❤

I still have pain issues but are tolerated with gabapentin and THC but not at the same time. Thank you!! I believe in everything you shared. You are where you are suppose to be at this time in history. The world needs that information. It gave me confirmation about my experiences with my doctors with their insights regarding my care. I am 71and they want to see me regularly. I can now stand more confident when I say no to a procedure or medications. I am an information hog my friends call me this. I am always search for more knowledge, information, and learning. The world needs to hear about our failed and greedy medical system. Again, Thank You. Your wife is wise!

Cherish that beautiful dog you have. I lost my boy on June 27th at 10 years old. He was a boxer/rotty mix that meant the world to me. I’m 43 with a wife and young daughter. This dog was like another child to us. The end was extremely difficult. We don’t get to dictate the terms. I wanted a couple more years with him. He lost coordination of his hind legs after taking an osteoarthritis drug called Librela (relatively new to market). It appears it aggravated an underlying lumbo-sacral disc issue. Beyond that, he apparently had a mass on his spleen. We spent $25,000 in Vet costs and 42 days of home care/therapy before he stopped eating. We were able to restore some function to his legs so he was able to walk again, but in the end the splenic mass metastasized to other organs creating an un-fixable problem. Quality of life meant we had to euthanize. We used an at-home service. Most painful experience of my life. The Veterinary industry is absolutely abhorrent - we went to many! You spoke of the human medical industry a few weeks ago. It resonated. The Veterinary industry is many times worse. If your dog ages and has legitimate issues, you’re doomed. Most helpless I’ve ever felt. Lack of proactive testing, diagnostics, expertise, etc. Went for MRI after hind leg issue arose and he was returned to us with dew claws torn off and right front elbow torn up. That right front elbow would later get infected and was life threatening. It was a cruel, cruel end for a dog that was everything love should be. Changed my perspective on life quite a bit. The randomness of it all. The unfairness. Enjoy your time with Doobie, she looks like a wonderful dog. I don’t want to be a downer, just want to briefly share my experience and remind everyone to cherish their time with their pets.

There are also red huckleberries in the Pacific Northwest. They often grow in tandem with hemlock, and can often be seen growing out of cedar nursery logs. The stems are unique in that they are square and do not roll between your fingers.
If you go back to where the plant was releasing pollen you’ll here a beautiful bird calling. I’m almost certain it’s a Swainson’s Thrush. Nature is endlessly fascinating and the best therapist. Can’t tell you how much I enjoy your videos. Thank you for sharing them. 😊
Out here in Maine we have lots of wild blueberries which are harvested and grown commercially. They are on a different genus from huckleberries and are similar in size and color but a little sweater. Huckleberries are difficult to grow but in Northern Idaho they are many entrepreneurial people that harvest and sell them at markets, sometimes at ridiculous prices.

I rescued a smaller breed (as prior I had 3 Boxers in a row, precious breed) & this little guy I found 5 on after a hike & one one the back of my neck. 😬 outa my mind I was!!! Lol Called both the vet & the groomer to inquire what they were seeing & they confirmed MANY! I had my pup groomed super short & will not go to the canal paths any longer. Such a shame we can’t fully enjoy nature. I am a nature girl 💯 % from a little to present day barefoot over shoes any day! We are outdoors often & on daily walks with daily checks. Of course I knew you would check, it threw me for a loop. 😱 Simply wanted to raise awareness 4 all creatures gr8 & small. Grand Love✨Light ✨& Peace✨ 😘🙌🏼❤️

I used to eat that a lot when I was a kid! It’s sweet and delicious! Maybe the ones you ate weren’t ripe completely, the ones I ate were super sweet, but then again was another country. Can’t you plant the berries where you live? My city is 1,450m above sea level. We have all these wild berries there, and golden berries too, my favorite. I loved the wild when I was a child and still do even though I’m not as much in touch with it as I wish I was. ☹️ Enjoy this wonderful place🙌💕
Love huckleberries. We have plenty of those here in the PNW. My dogs loved to eat them as well, along with Oregon grape,blackberries ,and salmon berries. That would be a great tail for me to use with a walker. Chemo with arsenic really did me in with permanent nerve damage. In a couple of months the beautiful mushrooms will be out. My mother and I gathered chanterelles and pine mushrooms a long time ago. That foamy stuff on a branch has a spittle bug in the middle. Thank you for that beautiful walk. I used to walk thru the woods daily in my beautiful town on the Hood Canal.

Everytime i see a video of someone hiking or walk through the woods i get anxious and concern almost immediately, i really hope its safe outhere because I've read alot of stories that are heartbreaking and cruel during hiking trails. Non the less God bless your soul and All the best with everything.
Bad things happen anywhere inside and out of doors. It's good to be tuned into danger but we can't protect ourselves from everything that might come out way. Goobie is choosing to live life with his dog and experience out of doors rather than having a fearful state and being imprisoned indoors. It's sad for me to see so many people afraid of living life because of what may happen, to me that's not living. But God bless you too!
This place can be dangerous due to falling rocks and ice. I try to be relatively safe. There are a lot of people coming and going at this trail since it is a short one and so interesting to look at so if something happens, there is lots of help. ✌️❤️

I used to eat that a lot when I was a kid! It’s sweet and delicious! Maybe the ones you ate weren’t ripe completely, the ones I ate were super sweet, but then again was another country. Can’t you plant the berries where you live?
My city is 1,450m above sea level. We have all these wild berries there, and golden berries too, my favorite.
I loved the wild when I was a child and still do even though I’m not as much in touch with it as I wish I was. ☹️

Love huckleberries. We have plenty of those here in the PNW. My dogs loved to eat them as well, along with Oregon grape,blackberries ,and salmon berries. That would be a great tail for me to use with a walker. Chemo with arsenic really did me in with permanent nerve damage. In a couple of months the beautiful mushrooms will be out. My mother and I gathered chanterelles and pine mushrooms a long time ago. That foamy stuff on a branch has a spittle bug in the middle. Thank you for that beautiful walk. I used to walk thru the woods daily in my beautiful town on the Hood Canal.
Hood canal is so lovely ❤️ when I die, I would like my ashes to be spread on hood canal so that I can become part of the oysters and clams and fishies there

I love nature walks videos, especially with a puppy! Take a walk in the rain.
Everytime i see a video of someone hiking or walk through the woods i get anxious and concern almost immediately, i really hope its safe outhere because I've read alot of stories that are heartbreaking and cruel during hiking trails. Non the less God bless your soul and All the best with everything.
Bad things happen anywhere inside and out of doors. It's good to be tuned into danger but we can't protect ourselves from everything that might come out way. Goobie is choosing to live life with his dog and experience out of doors rather than having a fearful state and being imprisoned indoors. It's sad for me to see so many people afraid of living life because of what may happen, to me that's not living. But God bless you too!
This place can be dangerous due to falling rocks and ice. I try to be relatively safe. There are a lot of people coming and going at this trail since it is a short one and so interesting to look at so if something happens, there is lots of help. ✌️❤️
