I think the nerf sling fire is my favorite over all blaster of all time. The reason for which is that it is a sentimental reason so when the sling fire first came out my grandfather bought it for me for Christmas and one of his very many passions was playing with nerf blasters. And he had this big huge nerf collection of like 80 blasters which we would have fights with them all the time. So almost one year ago the doctor found out that he had cancer. And the last nerf war we had before he passed was with the sling fire so that is why it is my favorite blaster because one of my last memories of him was him tagging me out with my sling fire and that is why I love it so much because I love him.

On my stock Slingfire, I put some metal tubing into the barrel, and it actually increased accuracy and power by some degree. It was even noticeable!
Hey Xavier, do you play call of duty black ops 3? If you do or don't, then would you make a slingfire functional model of an Argus?
I don't, but I looked it up. Honestly I think a Sledgefire would be a better base blaster for that build.

Very nice! Someone on etsy sells an upgraded priming handle, have you seen that? If I ever thrift a slingfire I'd like to attempt a brass breech and spring upgrade, that would be a really fun superstock primary.

I found that the worker spring kit made the slingfire jam a lot more than stock. Have you found a way around this?

I must advise getting metal gears for the sling fire. Even when stock it only takes 1 to 2 wars before the gears are worn down to a point where the gun is barely usable

For your barrel break idea: how about you 0ut two panther tanks in it (i think bobo did that once). Good performance sith a barrel break.

Hello Captain I love the video and I am lining up modding a slingfire for a steampunk wildwest cosplay. Wanted to double check as the Worker Brand barrel kit for the slingfire is not the same it is much shorter. Hope you might be able to enlighten me on where the barrel kit might have come from? You did mention ETSY but was curious about who the maker of the barrel kit might be. Keep up the amazing work.

I saw a video about pistol jockey/shield combo and now I wonder if The Slingfire would be a good combo/sniper to help the shield/pistol jockey?
I had a slingfire but it just locked up one day and I never found out why. I even disassembled it to find out, but NOTHING

I don't get why the missprays were an issue. I would have worked them into the guns back story as residue from a corrosive fluid that got sprayed in those spots while the weapon was in use on a mission.

EPIC! If only we could lose the magazine & magwell! Make it look properly like a Remington underlever! Also, I personally find that the stock could do with being a little longer.
I would LOVE to see a hyper real version of this!
Or you can make a internal magazine you load from the side by cutting it up and making it able to load that way

The one gripe i have with the slingfire is that the stock is one part and cant really makkes it harder to paint

ETA: I finally got all of the stuff to do this upgrade as well as metal internals and an increased spring. The result is fantastic! The Nerf Winchester lives!

You stabbed yourself with a screwdriver u say.... Just use super glue it used to be a wound healer
I do this for deep cuts. This was not deep enough to warrant that.
Oh but do use super glue in some cases
Hey cap I have a huge challenge for you. Take two stock attachments and glue them back to back with one upside down. Then attach two kriss vector stocks and call it a modular batarang

Don’t worry cap I’ve cut myself like crazy before too, all ya need to mend yourself faster is some bag balm, it’s useful stuff, and maybe some gaws and some duck tape, works well enough for my college, minus the bag balm, I bring that stuff

Nerf should make a 2-shit magazine-fed blaster with a pump action or lever action loading mechanism
I will buy the kit, ditch the priming lever and cut a groove in the shell for a home made mettle priming bar (no lever action) and add the strongest spring it can take (the barrel is for accuracy to balance out the power, for more accuracy) and shoot accufakes for additional accuracy. paint blue and orange to bring in public. add a 3x cheap scope, a real sniper rifel

so the little lock up may be the screw on the prime housing oiece for the lever, but thats just my thought. it also could be the same problem i had, when priming the gun. i had to find a way to replace some of the gear bits that pull the spring and the little orange piece that grinds on the lever itself. again that was my thought and my problem with the gun.
this looks like a "lugchester" luger + winchester, very cursed combo but its cool

Honestly, I think this is really thematic for HvZ, because it seems like the kind of thing where you'd walk up to your porch, gesture it threateningly, and yell at the zombies to get off your lawn.

I've actually had some luck with the Buzz Bee Double Shot. If you fix in the shells and run brass though them, it works quite nice.
Pair it with duel modded Hammershots and the Zombie strike machete
One thing my brothers slingfire shoots rly slow the dart is not going deep it the barrel so the dart gets fires but the air does not push it far
