@@CleanWithConfidence Hello I tried to rub a little scratch out of my stainless fridge using a mild compound now it caused a lighter hazy spot can that be reversed?? Thank you 😪
I have neglected my stainless steel fridge for a while, and decided to clean it real good. Now at first glance it looks brand new; but there are several spots that I didn't manage to get rid of... Is there any trick for that? Tried pretty much everything in the video, those small spot and drips won't go away. Is it possible for the stainless steel to get like, permanently stained if not maintained regularly?
Just subscribed because of this video!!!! So thankful for you explaining the different finishes….. going to look now and hope you have the same insight for cleaning granite!!!!
Another couple of tips, check your warranty before using anything other than mild soap and water. Finger print resistant finish is a clear coat so be careful not to scratch the clear coat. Icons can be removed on cook tops so never use oils on the icons as they will loosen in time. Make sure your cloths are free from any dust and don't wipe food crumbs gently lift them.. dragging crumbs will scratch the surface.
These are great for grease and finger prints, but we have a built-in water dispenser that has left hard water marks on the stainless steel finish. Advice?

I use baby oil to buff up the appliances after in my customers home.. they all have older styles so not sure about the new stainless. They think I can do magic 🤗
Yes it can be fixed. You just need to clean it off the polish that didn’t work with a wet microfiber cloth and some dish soap, then try a different polish 👍
Okay..thanks for keeping it simple(products to use) BUT Please someone tell Me, please-how can I determine what direction to wipe(I cannot tell, it seem simple enough but I don't know..I don't want to ruin my fridge surface). Thanks.
Will this work on a stainless kitchen sink? One drain is spotless while the other one is really stained over. Started about a month ago. Have tried a couple cleaners to no avail.
The only thing worse than cleaning stainless steel appliances is cleaning glass shower enclosures and" squeeging" them after EVERY shower. Why or why do manufacturers do this to us, probably because most people who are doing the cleaning are women.
I personally dont like stainless appliances. They became popular because the advertised they wouldn't rust and were supposed to be easy to clean. The reality is most if not all stainless appliances are clear coated so that makes everything different and difficult. If you wind up scratching it your in a world of hurt because now you have a scratch in the clear coat. If you try to compound and polish the scratch out you wind up with a shinier spot to deal with. You cant use any abrasives because of the clear coat. Your basically screwed! Best bet is to only wipe it down with a mild cleaner and hope and pray the clear coat never fails. Now should you have an old stainless steel refrigerator that is out of warranty and the finish looks bad. Take some bar keepers friend and a rag and polish it with the grain until the achieve the desired shine. But there is a downside . Once you effectively remove the clear coat and are actually polishing bare stainless steel you will have to do it regularly because even know its stainless steel it will oxidize a little because manufacturers dont use the best stainless steel. This is why they clear coat it from the get go. Your better off getting a regular painted refrigerator. That way you can just treat it like you treat your car paint. Keep it waxed regularly and if you do get a scratch you can buy some paint polish and buff the scratch out if its not too deep. Oh and if you buy a finger print proof one ,God help you! The finger print proof ones come matte clear coated. If you ever get a sratch or anything stuck to it that requires anything other than wipeing it off it will become very obvious with either a dull spot or a shiny spot that will be there forever!! Good luck out there!
I use isopropyl disposable wipes on my brushed nickel door handles in my home. Each bedroom has em, and the bathroom. So they get an alcohol wipe every couple of days. High-touch, high traffic door handles. Anyone else here do the same?
