I went to watch it with my bi girlies and yes we went for Reneé and only Reneé but we stayed for Auli'i and Jaquel, they carried the movie!

Obviously Renée drew everybody in, but if people didn't know Auli‘i was amazing already (singing and everything else) they've been missing out.

I consider it as a part of Mean Girls Extended Universe rather than a musical remake, especially when the creator of the OG movie, Tina Fey, wrote and produced this one as well.

Lisa Frankenstein was so good! I wish I could rewatch it but it seriously made me panic and I couldn't go to sleep for like an hour after. But it was sooo good.
Mean girls is coming out next month in 4k and is rereleasing a limited edition 4k pink case. I bought two so I can put Barbie in a proper case. Still blows my mind Barbie only got a pink case in i think Canada.

I watched in theatres with my friends and we went as the mean girl characters (I was Janis ofc bc i’m the fruit of the group) and I was tryna contain myself whenever Renee appeared on screen bc I’m not like fully out js everyone kinda knows . Anyways I just was like hypnotized and was trying to act normal even the i was squeezing on the inside

I went to the theaters and loved this movie sm. It is hilarious and love all of Renee parts. It was its own individual thing.😂❤
Definitely a case of a movie where the sheer charisma of some of the actors papers over a lot of the weaknesses in the film. I mean if you just read the screenplay Janice is possibly even nastier and more manipulative than Regina and 'I'd Rather Be Me' is so ridiculously hypocritical and self-serving a song it would do a Disney villain proud but Auli'i just ate the role alive and made her quasi-likable.

I quite liked this adaptation despite the OMG being more iconic. I did love the musical numbers and to me Regina, Janis, and Damian stole the entire film!!! I really do wish we could’ve heard Damian do Stop, but I was glad he at least got his boyfriend. Yes the bathroom scene was deleted in the original, so I was glad they kept it. My favorite songs is obviously Revenge Party, Apex Predator, I’d Rather Be Me and all of Regina George’s songs especially I Want To Watch The World Burn.
