Yes, I do recall the 1980-'81 season! Some of it was delayed by an actors' strike- and several new series weren't introduced until December 1980. 1) "ENOS" was a spin-off of "THE DUKES OF HAZZARD"- and it ended after one season. Sonny Shroyer was lucky: he insisted that if his new show didn't work out, "Enos" would return to Hazzard County- and he did, for the rest of that series. 2) "LADIES' MAN" also lasted one season. Betty Kennedy {4:29} later married the series' executive producer, Herbert B. Leonard. 3) "SECRETS OF MIDLAND HEIGHTS"- one season. 4) "FREEBIE AND THE BEAN"- lass than one season. 5) "MAGNUM P.I."- the *one* new series that "stuck to the wall" for the network that season. It lasted eight seasons, and made Tom Selleck a "STAR".
And still to come that season- because mid-season replacements are plentiful, and often the backbone of successful seasons to come- "PRIVATE BENJAMIN", "THE TWO OF US", and "CHECKING IN" {the last featuring Marla Gibbs; an attempted spin-off of "THE JEFFERSONS", it lasted four episodes.....yet she had the same kind of deal Sonny Shroyer had....and "Florence" returned to "THE JEFFERSONS" in the fall of 1981}. And "NURSE", which lasted a season and a half.
It's the Cross of Lorraine (French: Croix de Lorraine), known as the Cross of Anjou . It was a shared ring worn by Magnum,Rick,T.C.& Michelle, taken from their time in Vietnam. What's you're issue, doofus?!

Don’t forget the 4-minute sales piece that wasn’t used for air.
Wow, the Magnum PI theme with a crucifix?

This was a film deteriorated copy.
