For those that do not know, weapons are also in tiers (basic, calibrated, refined, advanced, and superior). Those higher tiered weapons will outclass these items.
Not the last two legendaries. I am at NG+ 5 now and every vendor only has advanced weapons at this point. The last two rifles are nuts. Absolutely insane. Nothing beats them.

@@hung8969 Story ends at new game plus 10. You are required to reach that. It completes the cycle. You become the Hunter.

@@rayosborne8617 Yes new game plus is infinite. I have seen people at 15 and higher wanting to upgrade all their Tempel Powers. This is incredible bugged right now. You might be even required to do that. I am not bothering with this. Bethesda expects you to do 230 Tempels. That is absurd.
The 1911, still iconic after what some 400 years in the game timeline :) sounds about right ! Its my favorite pistol in the game thus far (15 hours in, Level 18)
i got a really good legendary old world shotgun from doing the freestar board missions. one of them had me talk to an npc nearby who then had me go kill an outlaw named Tawny Adams on Gamma Vulpes 4-a. it has furious, crippling and demoralizing. without even any shotgun perks it deals over 400 damage.
I managed to upgrade a legendary Urban Eagle pistol I found so that it does 200 physical damage and has armor depleting rounds. It also has hitman and anti personnel perk so I can one shot everything even bosses in very hard difficulty.

yeah, i found advanced urban eagle at lvl 5 or something somehow, it lasted me entire game. Had to upgrade it manually though. Still havent found another one yet, let alone a legendary one.
There is also the Syndicate Enforcer, an Epic Wakizashi. Has Lacerate and Berserker, which have a ton of synergy. 54 base dmg.
Where I'm tired of using my legendary UC cutlass
I would like to point out that by playing on Very Hard, there are tons of Legendary weapon drops. But there are good Blue and Purple options that drop all the time too. Especially if you fight against leaders like ship captains.

I just got the ember and let me tell you the quest line is a long one be prepared to put in the hours to get it lol but so worth it
attention, if you want to use disponded assasin for the whole game as its amazing etc. DO NOT get it at the begining, come and grab it when you are at higher level as this one's damage is depended to the level when you complete it. for instance, i did it while i was lv9, my assasin only has 67 as its single shot damage, and the author has 127 shown in video. i got one lawgiver from lv30 enemy, which has about 240 single shot damage, fully upgraded it gose to over 300, so the assasin is greate, but do not grab it to early, as otherwise it has super low base damage and you can just use it as a decoration after a short while doing missions or exploring
Doesnt matter though the hard material rife is the best sniper in the game and no videos have really shown it because it’s hard to get. It’s shreds the despondent assassin
i just got the despondent assassin at level 10 at it has only 32 damage, does the weapon damage scale of the level u have when u complete the quest?
I like the video so I can come back and do the quests when I have time to game. The sniper looks fun I'm excited!
as far as best sniper, during one of the first side missions you can get where you have to go to the well, I can't remember the mission name but that's not how you get the sniper. there is a shop down there with loads of great weapons and one of them is an old world sniper just like this legendary one but its base damage is 127. This gun outperforms the legendary one even with all the perks on it. steal it, its great.
if you have the coachman you could modify it to have hornet rounds and make it high powered it would destroy anything easily. of course you could modify it further but ground battles are won as long as you put 12 levels into science and focus on the coachman.
I had a frenzy weapon and it does what most games do for frenzy. It has caused enemies to attack their allies.

@jorraptor Do you need to be on a certain difficulty to get the calibrated version of the XM? I keep getting either the base item, the "modified" version or the "suppressed" version. Been save scumming but no luck.

Honestly the way ng+ works in this game kinda pushed me away from going into ng+. Spend 60 hours on a story just to have everything taken away is kinda meh

You should add the unique weapons the mysterious trader sells (starborn trader)
There’s also a mini gun in a small tent and fire abandoned camp on one of these first moons you land on
The best endgame weapons are advanced mag (anything.) Magshot, for pistol, magsniper, magstorm, heavy weapon, ect. There is one, or more, for each weapon type. They will always say mag at the beginning and advanced is the highest level version.

When you first find the Hunter in the bar at new Atlantis, his unique rifle is in his inventory... with some levelling and skill points in pickpocketing, could you not just take it from him then and there?
I mean.. at level 1 pickpocket its clearly in his inventory..

Do weapons/suits/etc drop at their own level/base damage across the length of the game or does a weapon drop with more damage if you get them when you level up?
Higher tier weapons seem to drop as you level up
There are no levels. There are tiers and rarities. Same gun of next tier does more dmg. Regulator heavy pistol does 50 dmg. Advanced Regulator heavy pistol does 100. Drops do seem to be influenced in some way by your level and enemy level also by what difficulty you play. Rarity governs how many "enchants" you get. Legendary rarity seem to have one unique enchant only for that rarity. Named guns seem to always roll with specific tier, rarity and type of enchant.
I just did that quest today you can also take The Datura ship as your own 🎉
Just wanted to pass on my appreciation to how you guys are handling spoilers so far. I just had to block another creator I was following for a bit because they started putting clear spoilers in the titles of their vids.
Wish we could take down all news articles that spoils everything regardless of the subject (video games, films, comics, etc) for a least a month after release.

actually there is a chance you can get all three, when your in the final fight and go down the elevator there is a crap ton of loot in front of you and in one of the crates you can get lucky and get the legendary melee he’s using. this is not a guarantee tho

Got a legendary pain blade with the rapid and corrosive perks, it’s actually a viable weapon now.
5:48 i got it on a legend pistol and had it tigger at least once if not twice, enemies will attack their allies, not sure if they attack u or neutral parties

4:36 - Yeah...also...don't forget to drive away in her gorgeous ship. It's my home ship now. Huge upgrade from the Frontier. You persuade her to give you to pistol but if you kill her you get the ship. Faster, bigger, sleeker, more power, better weapons, loot and creds on board, interior defensive turrets. Need I say more?
You can just sit down and fly away in her ship after you persuade her. She doesn't stop you

Bro I’ve got a poison, double damage Bridger. I named her Thump Thump from Fallout nv. 283 attack with rank 3 heavy, plus poison and double making it almost 600 damage 😂

For your current play through they may be good but remember on NG+ you start over without any weapons, gear, ships and credits.

@@requiemagent3014 So there's not much point in putting a ton of effort into base building and the like until you reach max level as it'll all be reset..
I both love and hate that...
Because having to do the same base building again and again will get annoying and time consuming and getting your weapons back up will take less time due to perks but will still be annoying, especially if you have to farm an enemy until it's superior...
But also it keeps progression mainly fresh which I love and it encourages experimenting as in NG+ you might start with totally different weapons to before.
Tldr: I have mixed feelings about this. 😁

You can get unmitigated violance if you "kill" the hunter during "that mission". He'll meet you in space and give it to you

Its a common weapon lol. It will show up at traders around level 15-20. It’s not even good lol I sold mine.
Honestly I think staying in normal game looks way more fun than just go to ng+ , doing all quests, lvl up and get more ships in a old fashion way instead of getting an op armor and ship.

You also practically lose nearly every bit of progress from your playthrough aside from ur skills like. Kinda sucks to play for 100+ hours hoping for new content to go to NG+ lose all Armor/Weapons/Items and resources/ quest progress/ resource scan data every ship you own, practically everything but ur levels and skills. seems like a roguelike @@bravexheart7

yeah , its not always suppressed. same thing happened to me and that's why I came back to this video. seems like the weapons are more randomized than anything.

You get them at the very end of the game and it’s based on a choice you make. He mentions this at the very end of the vid in a spoilers section.

Soo far saw only a single dedicated EM gun. Some guns can be modified to fire non lethal EM rounds but dmg sux.

It’s a bethesda game. I automatically assume I missed all the best stuff. I just play how I want and then use mods to get what I want. I hate having to follow guides for dozens of hours just hoping to not miss something.
