Release to ground roll in 4 minutes 20 seconds, that's one hell of a sink rate from 4000' agl!!!! Awesome flying, especially the inverted down wind leg!
@@webbevents Yeah i know, it still amaze me, i have flown extra 300 and steen skybolt, the extra was like 360 degres a second, but the steen skybolt was close to this. and the tolerance with the long wings, just wow the things you can do with the power of the sun
Very poor airmanship! No look out turns prior to commencing the sequence straight off the tow! That flight is all about the pilot and not the trainee/student! 🤢
Hi Graeme. I can't speak for the pilot, but I'm sure he had everything covered. This was purely a joyride for me. End of the day at the Interservices Comp. The glider went on to perform a pyrotechnic flight that evening, if I remember rightly.

was an awesome flight. CFI, aero instructor and display pilot. I was in good hands
Great video, interesting to follow these maneuvers from cockpit view in the fox. Scary low altitude work though...
thanks for watching. Yeah, all my normal circuit heights went out of the window. Pilot is Chief Flying Instructor and Display pilot. Awesome ride.
What a great vid thanks for sharing 👍🏻👍🏻
thanks for watching
Lowest aerobatic maneuver - 350 feet. Is it legal in UK?
it rolls like a fighter, damn sailplanes have won, i will start flying soon.....
This glider is designed for aerobatics. Normal gliders don't roll quite as fast.

too true Markus
You dont pull the airbrake during the final curve, thats a dangerous game to play with a plane that has its attitudes
