Scammers deserve to be named and shamed. They ruin so many peoples lives just because they can’t even get a legit job so they decide to steal from hard working people
This happened to me when I was 26. I met a girl on a dating app and after talking for a few days, she sent me a nude and then asked me to send one. I did so, and then she asked for $500 and immediately threatened to send the picture to everybody on my Facebook friends list. I told her to go ahead and do it and then blocked her and luckily for me she didn’t! I feel so sorry for the people who have fallen victim to the scam and it ended worse than my experience. People who do this are absolute scum! Especially younger children fear the bullying and harassment if it were to take place. Please people never send a nude out! It’s not worth the risk
I've had it numerous times it helps to break their power by making it clear u don't care who they send it to. They use to say they would send it to all my FB friends I just laugh like most r family I haven't seen or talked to in over 10 yrs idgaf
This almost happened to me when I was 18. We talked for a few days and they said they'd send me nudes if I sent them nudes. Being a horny kid, I sent them. Immediately after sending the picture, I realized it was sketchy so I just told them "Hey, I'm sorry. Your profile seemed a little sketchy so I just found a dick pic online so that you would send me a nude of yours. If you're a real person, I'm sorry. If I knew you were a real person, I would've sent you a real photo but I assumed you had just done the same thing as me". They blocked me immediately without threatening anything. Before they even had the chance to threaten me, I told them I scammed them and they realized they couldn't do anything with the picture
Not to mention both anxiety and paranoia for the people who got scammed by people like this and fear that one day the scammer will post inappropriate pictures of them on the internet.
@@okami-chan9772 oh absolutely. I had my nudes sent around after a boy begged me for them when I was like 13 (No father figure + wanting to be liked + low self esteem = easily manipulated) and then at 18/19 I was forced into internet sex work and I know my videos and photos are floating around out there and it makes me feel dirty. This happened to me back in the day on myspace. The person threatened to send pictures to my parents but i laughed and told them my parents walked in on me more than once and the picture i sent the scammer was more tame by comparison. I never heard back lol

This happened to me when I was 12 and I remember thinking my entire life was over. They threatened to send it to all of my family and friends on Facebook. Including my parents full names, as a young child I was scared shi*less. I'm glad this is being brought into the light as this has been a big issue for over a decade
Swear to God once my son is old enough for the conversation, I will make it beyond clear to him that there's nothing absolutely nothing he could do that would ever make me not love him, or that we couldn't get past. Especially something as minimal as some nude photos. I'd take any outcome or consequence over my son taking his own life. Literally, every time. Shits beyond heartbreaking.
Something for you to add to the conversation, if you feel it's appropriate: It's a really amazing feeling to be able to yank the rug out from underneath someone who's trying to extort you, and to turn the tables on them and call their bluff. Some time ago, I had a pretty wild fling with a young lady who had obviously planned to use me as a conduit to acquire huge piles of cash, whether by exploiting a relationship with me, or by blackmailing and extorting me with threats to publicly release details of what we got up to. I'm not at all rich, but my family is, and that's obviously what her sights were set upon. When I got spooked by her increasingly erratic behaviour (she *_really_* couldn't handle her drugs...) and started trying to back away, she got angry and sprung her 'trap,' with escalating threats about telling everyone I knew about what had been happening, and demands for money to buy her silence. After a week or so, it was clear she was really starting to enjoy her 'power' over me, and was relishing the thought of squeezing me for money for the foreseeable future. I can still remember the expression on her face, when I asked her when she planned on coming and telling her stories to all my loved ones. I offered to arrange things so everyone would be there, and asked if she wanted me to introduce her. "By all means, come on down. Share all of our dirty laundry with a room full of strangers. I'll help you tell the story. What time will you be arriving?" It was fckn glorious. Tell him, blackmailers don't hold the power, it's the people they're trying to victimise who are really in control. You can end their game with a snap of your fingers, and bring their whole scheme crashing down. Yes, there might be consequences, but invariably they'll be far worse for the people trying to extort someone, than for the intended victim. $500? Really? I live in Washington state, visited Arizona Scottsdale a stripper roofied me and stole $7000 (everyone says go to Cash App go to your bank and claim fraud) I did all that it didn’t work I just had to bite the bullet.
Morgan & Morgan revolutionized the industry because they have a website that you can access on your phone? Sounds more like them catching up with the times.
Even though this isnt related. The second story reminds me of Amanda Todd. :(
Didnt think the first 2 seconds was from Inside Edition! (Watch that show almost everyday!) 📺
Anyway and that's why I don't use Snapchat! (and Tiktok!)
Scammers disgust me they very rarely face justice since most are either from Africa or India and pay off the police now if only interpol could make arrests
Snapchat still exists!?
Where i come from no one uses snapchat since like 2017
made it just in time...
Greed immorality it will end humanity we are just doomed
Stolo on the lolo, posted to social media...
did everyone clap at the end of Chloe's scammer story?
Nah let’s talk about the teen. He must have the negotiation of a god how did he haggle a SCAMMER from 5k to like 145. That’s like buying a 100k car for only 5k
If I tell you an acorn is worth 5k and you haggle it down to 145 which of us is the sucker?
am i weird that if anyone tried to blackmail me with my nudes i would not care in the slightest and just say go for it
I’m glad I don’t use this app I don’t trust it
Honestly don't know how people don't spot catfish or fully fake profile it's so clear
I know the guy in the thumbnail in real life
The thumbnail pic, looks like a murderer who was convicted in the UK.
I knew just from common sense to never give money or send any pics when I was on AOL chat rooms. Like dial up back in the day this was common sense. Hard to feel bad for people over the age of 12 that don’t know better
Screw it a little embarrassment isn’t that bad ppl need to get over it an they won’t have power
This happened to me before
The YTber I like is talking about extortions. Then his sponsor: "We're here for your no matter what /wink/, free of any charge until we represent you, but PLS send us everything about you, your medical records included, from you phone beforehand uwu!"
I❤ this world. Thank God I'm leaving it soon...
/quasi-satire, LOL, except no, LOL/
Schizo
@@ok-nt7pvHi, voice nr. 12!
Huh? Out of all the sponsors to get upset about, this is a weird choice.
@@silent_pete Why? Because you haven't heard about them until now or something impressed you in the advertising?
Sorry, I can get over sh1tty knives, Scottish forestry damage and Legendary Shadow Raids... but this one irks me. It affects humans, you know?
Okay but.. They kinda *need* that info if you're suing somebody. Most lawsuits are over injuries or other medical related stuff
Thank to AI now those new victim can say,go ahead sendit,i can say t's a A.I Generated
I had that happen to me once, and it showed them like typing out a message to my mom and I took the risk like a savage and just blocked them.
Bro i just wanted to message my friends
I think the best way to combat this is to have everyone that has even the smallest desire to send a pic, work on their body until sharing it would instead be a positive. it looks like my comments keeps getting deleted.
I could never stay alive if I fumbled a billion dollar opportunity
