Thanks for giving me faux-nostalgia for a time I wasn't alive in this video, and thanks again for sharing! I'm excited to see comments regarding a possible recapture of this video to fix the audio issues present in this already great piece of history! If anyone watching wants to see this same crossing in 2020, I have a full day up on my channel at ruclips.net/video/u3U-J57ZdpI/видео.html - I also have a day there in 2021 yet to go up!
I remember when Mike Haverty reintroduced the red and silver Warbonnet "Super Fleet" scheme in 1989. It started with a few FP45s, then came the new fleet of GP60Ms in 1990. (they were the first locos with ditch lights that I've seen).I read that the Super Fleet was not to be mix with the general yellow and blue fleet, yet here we are five years later and the GP60Ms are already in general merchandise service.
Man I Miss These 90s Train Bro But Yea We Need To Change Too Because There Will Nothing Will Stand With You But Only One Which Is The Memory That Stand With Us When We Want To Remember Something That So Cool That We Make But Yea Im Still Respect Some Train Company Like CSX Still Make Some Heritage And Who Want Like Same Scheme Yea BNSF Is Thw Great Because They're Mostly Have Patched Train Ahh Yea I Miss These Old Days
@@officialrailfanomar Yeah, I didn't work last Thursday. We worked the evening flip job on Wednesday night (327-338-337) because the inbound crew wasn't rested due to 322 breaking down that morning.
This is great but the audio is seriously messed up unfortunately. It is clipping and distorting like crazy and seems to be a full 1 or 2 seconds later than the video. Hopefully the level issue isn’t with the original source material, as I would enjoy hearing the audio of those fast ATSF intermodals!
1990s Railfan Hz is frequency, if you do that you’ll be raising or lowering the pitch and speed of the audio. What you are looking for is gain/level or dB. Which editing program do you use? Most editing programs have an audio meter that will show you if audio is clipping. Best practice is to have the audio as high as possible on the meter without ever clipping at the peaks.
I wish I was around back then.. So much companies to see, so much power, and such.. Golden ages of Railfanning. Sadly the days will never be back because of Modern GE’s soaking up the fame.
nice Sharing. Great video my friend.👍

Nice to see even late into the '90s Superfleet' era of ATSF, consists could still be a nice mix of almost anything. Great video as always.

@@wolf-walker The executive paint job?, you mean the Grinstein green on BN?
@@wolf-walker Yeah, that's was the Executive Scheme which appeared before the merger, on the SD70MACs. Also, on those BN F units.
Nice to see the old yellow bonnets, war bonnets, and even some green BN stuff! Even some good old, Conrail blue in there!
Yes, hard to believe they are gone now.
I miss those green C30-7s burbling along on coal buckets
Yeah, that's the same feeling I had putting this video together. They were a refreshing contrast to the dominant BN fleet of SD40-2s .
Amazing content, great video!
Thanks!
Nice video of 90s, greetings!!
We need you back 😢
Nice video mate! Greets from a romanian railfan🥳😉👍👍👍
Thank You!!!

Crazy race between you and K94 today!
Yeah, we were neck and neck down to the Powell signal. (I replied the other night, not sure what happened to the comment, maybe I didn't hit reply.)

Yeah, the audio is too hot. I'll have to experiment with recapturing the AVI file (Hi8 tape), and lowering the audio Hz setting to see if that helps.

I use Virtualdub to capture and Premiere Pro for editing.
1990s Railfan Ok, then yeah there is definitely an audio level visual guide. Lower right corner, it’s the two vertical bars.
@@amtrak706 Found it! Audio is in the red, and I've found I can keep it in the green by lowering db.

Thanks for commenting. While I was filming at this time, I was dreaming of the 1960' s and all the variety and cool Railroads I missed.
