    I'm 1960s Galesburg rail fan loved 3 blocks from Q |SF bridge how things have changed! Did you know there was a roundhouse near the new diesel shop location? I found the foundation and pits

      I wanted to make sure I got something from each of the accessible connectors. I wasn't in town long enough to get as much as I'd like, but I think it came out well.

    Lovely video of Galesburg Illinois. I've been studying that for a few years now, and thank you for bringing this to us to enjoy. See ya back on the High Iron. Take care for now.

    I'm surprised you didn't include Peck Park in the video. IMO it's the best railfanning spot in the city, where you can see movements on the Chillicothe, Mendota, and Barstow subs all in one place.

      I did check it out, but from what I remember, there was a lot of growth around the right of way on the Chillicothe Sub that would have made it difficult to get photos.

    You said this trip made the top 5 on ur list, what are the other 4?

    • @bnsf7562
      @bnsf7562  4 года назад +1

      That's quite a loaded question. I've gone so many places to watch trains that I sometimes forget them. Off the top of my head, I would say my trip to see the Big Boy, my first trip to Nebraska, Cajon and Cass are all up there.

      My guess would be some sort of construction equipment.
