- (OSRS) Today I set out to get the fastest 1 to 99 Magic on my new Oldschool RuneScape one defense pure. Then once I got 99 Magic I tried out a gamebreaking PKing method combining the best and most expensive staffs in OSRS.

The gold isn’t the problem it’s getting the people to go to clan wars. His breaks between quests during the recordings, questing speed, + taking time to actually have a party after everyone congratulated him... no offense to this video I thought it was great. But this record could be shattered for sure. Even without clan wars I bet.

This is just like me starting a new build on Dark souls.
Im pretty sure you can do this faster with house portals. It is never worth it and hyper expensive, but I think once you have the ticks down, you could change a portal slightly slower than casting a barrage spell.
Changing a portal would require swapping between 2 destinations and grants you 5 times the spells experience amount for a number of runes equal to 100 casts. Its also very click intensive. In theory, arceuus spellbook and standard spellbook teleports are your best options since unlocking the other 2 spellbooks require doing quests that require magic already.
At lvl 83, barrows teleport gives 450 and kourend teleport gives 410 experience when directed. If you cast at the rate of 1 every 3 seconds (idk if u can quite hit that rate) you could get 516k exp an hour. Even at 1 every 4 seconds you should be hitting higher rates than bursting.
You also unlock ape atoll teleport at 90, and coupled with barrows teleport youd hit between 427k and 566k exp an hour with 1 redirect every 3 or 4 seconds.
Like I said all theoretical. At 90 magic the cost per xp is around 52 gp per xp and 90 to 99 magic would be around 400m gp. Each redirect is I believe 5 clicks minimum (may be able to lose a click if u only have 1 portal but i doubt it) and I didnt do extensive testing due to the insane pricing, but it may be worth looking into for a magic world record.

A good method to train is to burst Dust Devils. You get great xp/hr and you also get a lot of the money back. You can also use an alt to pick up the items to extend the trips. The devils aren't aggro, so you can even use a lvl 3
