- What tires am I gonna get? Well, when in India I am getting Indian Tires! Haven’t heard of Vredenstein tires before and I have no idea how they’ll perform or how long they last but I guess we’re gonna find out together. First things first tho, putting them on and that’s always a little bit scary in a foreign country obviously. I am also trying a new motorcycle navigation app that so many recommend to me: bit.ly/Calimot... (they even gave me a free 30 day code for you: marc30) Let’s see how it goes and how I get through the traffic in Bangalore today ;) ps. Going to watch a Bollywood Movie at the end 🤪

Bro I recommend tata power and jio pulse charger app for you ev bike use It not in google maps
You should have tried MRF
I love Calimoto. I use it for 6-7 years now.
Have you been talking to Teapot One? 😂
Do Not use the very twisty option!!!!
It’s a good app 🏆🏆🏆
Marc, I think your front tire is turning the wrong way if you compare the profile with your back tire.
Vredstein was an dutch brand hq in Amsterdam which was bought by Apollo which is an Indian company....so now it became an indian company with dutch origin....
I thought it sounds Dutch 😁
its not an indian company, its still a dutch company with their technology patents and R&D happening still in netherlands. Its just that they are now manufactured in India. The Dutch company is a subsidiary of Apollo but they still count as a company from netherlands that is now owned by an Indian firm
@@exelrode Royal Enfield is now an Indian company, so apply the same logic hear.
It’s just like a JLR owned by TATA but no intervention in the brand whatsoever!
@@MithunBeats Eicher motors
Vresdestein is a Dutch company which has been bought by an indian tyre company called Apollo tyre group
Alright, now I know 🙌🏼
Hi Marc,
If it helps put your mind at rest Vredestein make excellent tyres for cars and bikes, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with them at all!!
In the UK most of the top tyre providers offer them as an option and they’re right up there with the best with solid reviews.
You made a good decision my friend and should now relax and enjoy your new rubber!!
Stay safe buddy 👊🏼
19:25 True man We Are already Frustrated from this different Charging Ports , we need one General Port.
19:44 point to be noted EV makers . You said it right and instead of competition companies should collaborate to ease things when it comes to charging plugs and availability of all plugs in one charging station
Yeah it’s the biggest mistake everyone does!
@@MarcTravels 💯 when competition becomes prestige issue business man will forget what the customers needed the most
The government needs to regulate that. Select one universal plug like the USB or the Fuel nozzle.
I think in the USA that have made it compulsory for all manufacturers to adopt the Tesla charging system.
as said before, competitors are forbidden to collaborate, this may lead to cartel authorities raising fines against them. this has to come from the government as official standards.
Vredestein was a Dutch company but is now own by Apollo of India. A well known brand especially for winter and classic tyres.
Alright, I thought the name is Dutch
Everyone is so interested in your tires, I'm sure they'll be fine. Me, I'm MORE INTERESTED in your movie date, she was beautiful. I hope you guys had a good time.
Haha 😂 we had a fantastic time ❤️
Bruv which movie date??

I had Vredestein bicycle tires in the 80s, and if I remember correctly, they were also a pretty big player in car tires in the 80s and 90s. According to Wiki, they were taken over by the Indian manufacturer Apollo Tyres in 2009
Alright, thanks for the infos! Appreciate it 🤙🏼
Vredestein is a Dutch product and a perfect product that came into Indian hands years ago.Good choice, I hope you enjoy it. Greetings Herman from Holland
I thought it sounds Dutch! I think they’ll do well☺️🙌🏼 cheers mate

It is royal Enfield thunderbird 350cc but is modified!!!! but this model is discontinued. The tyres you got is actually from Netherlands Vredestein tyres!!!!
Yeah I thought the name is Dutch
Mark, now you feel like family, and it feels so natural to hear you talk about your day while travelling in India. India has become your second home indeed. Lots of love and massive respect for all that you do ❤.
Great to hear ❤️
@Kumaradarsh893 you are correct. I saw him 2 months ago him in Bangalore. Today he uploaded video in which i am there
@@risugaming257 where?
The motorcycle at the beginning is a Cast Iron 4-speed Royal Enfield, with the gears on the wrong side as per the original British design ... it's been modified into a cruiser, which's a great look at what Indians were doing with their Enfields pre-2008 ... most of them have been restored back to original condition as these cast iron models are now highly sought after, hence it's fortunate that you were able to see one in that form, cheers 🍻

Tyre Grip is converging inside in front tyre. grip should spread outside while rotating. be careful in wet road while riding this allignment. water tens to collect in middle while leaving less surface grip/friction. Allign red and white stripe with the same direction in belt.
Hey Marcus please remember that every new tyre has factory shine, which means your tires will not have 100% grip until you've done a couple of hundred miles.
Yes I be careful ☺️
Awesome video Marc, thank you for sharing and appreciate your efforts 👍🏻

Yes this is big issues, it is very sad that every company has its own charger port. Government should pay attention And do something
Yeah asap!! That’s just not the right direction!
In the USA all manufacturers will have to fit a standardization of the J3400 NACS connector, hopefully this will be adopted Wordwide.
Said it before, will say it again... loving your india videos Marc, they are excellent. Superb balance covering different content, riding, people you meet (you devil :) ) and the gorgeous Indian scenery. Been with you since the start, just missed you in Wales (was going to offer you a place to stay, but you had to leave early), and stoked to see you fast approaching 200K subs. MRF (Madras rubber factory) tyres are what most of indians trust. They lasts longer and provide good grip. I usually do trips of 250 kms and use MRF
Would be useful if there was a universal adapter that can be used on different chargers?
It would
Vredestein has been around for many years! I was fitting them to cars in the '80 when I was a tire fitter for Motorway Tires. But they only do truck tires these days.
Yeah Apollo tires bought them I just learned
@wordreet I bought some 4-seasons Vredesteins for my car 2 years ago buddy. They were awesome!
In India the best bets are MRF.Very reliable tires ..not sure if they make your bike size ones
Vredestein tyres used to be top notch back in the seventies, haven't heard of them since then. But the name Vredestein surely rings positive bells in my ears.

in ladakh, best time to visit depends on the requirement. If you want the best road conditions and colours then september- october is the best time. If you want adventure and stuff then now is the right time to go, monsoon gets a bit tricky at times cause of the extensive amount of rainfall in lower Himalayas however once you cross baralachala pass or shinkula pass depending on the route you take it’s a rain shadow region after that.
