Yeah, even China's big city is behind in pollution and bad air quality but Delhi, Mumbai both are on top. Especially, Delhi because of nearby crop burning and vehicle pollution. Farmers are stopping government officers from taking action.@@agarasudhindra1687

I don’t justify burning crops because that’s what pollutes the most there, but I get it why they do it. Farming has turned into a low income business these days, they don’t have machinery or equipments to remove residual plantation. Also people do old school farming in these areas, modernisation has not reached there yet or if it has people are too rigid to accept it

Marc, slipstreaming behind a truck is good for your battery, but really bad for your health. The exhaust smoke from diesels in Europe are all heavily filtered and cleaned through catalytic converters. The Diesels in Asia may not be. Take care of your lungs, move out from behind trucks or wear EN95 mask. You'll be glad you did later. All the best.😅

All the heavy vehicles in India from 2005 have the BS6 STANDARD and required pollution under control ( PUC. ) CERTIFICATE+ In India petrol is mixed ethanol about 5% and 45°C in normal in india so might see black smoke coming from large goods container truck

I put highway pegs on Hoot my Transalp 750, for long rides. You should consider highway pegs mounting them, they have clamps, to Eve's guard bars protecting the battery. You can then move your feet forward, rest them on the pegs and relieve the stretch on the palliator tendons on your knees from your legs being cramped underneath you.
Geez Every fricking time I am so impressed on how well you know your bike's charge and how much you have on your "reserve tank" when you reach zero. I am too scared to learn that on my machine. Best I have done is 5% but never hit zero on it so far. And your stamina is incredible or maybe it's your willpower as well! I am so dead after ~200km.
Bruh, I got inspired by this guy and did a 300km solo trip recently. My whole body was breaking the next day. But the day after that, I felt better and decided that Ill effing do it again. But massive respect to Marc. One whole day continuously riding with almost no sleep and little rest. Cant even imagine doing that without years of getting used to it.
You are brave doing this, amazing to see how a bike with such relatively short range and electric can be made to work on a big trip, where there is a will there is a way! I think it's quite a good idea to just sleep whilst the bike is charging and just do the occasional bed and breakfast, saves on accommodation costs and makes use of the down time whilst bike is charging.

At 29 :52 the hills you see.. are Kymore hills.I have my house exactly there. You were riding through amdhara on NH7 now renamed to some NH32 or something. If not renamed it is the longest highway in India from Kanyakumari to Kashmir.

The farmer is doing this to quickly prepare the fields for next crops but this kills all microorganism that makes plant growth possible. Fire in your field reduces your crop output.
Hey Marc, I am a rider. One of my experience I was riding on the ghat section at night and it was raining heavily. The vehicles coming from the opposite side project very high beam. Since it was raining heavily. It was quite a nightmare. I can tell very well from my experience how you have felt riding on those roads. Yeah, to add on i can completely co-relate how you felt riding an entire night

16:50 Those are mostly farmers clearing off leftover from the earlier crop. That is the worst thing our farmers are doing. The farmer is doing this to quickly prepare the fields for next crops but this kills all microorganism that makes plant growth possible. Fire in your field reduces your crop output.

Hey Marc, I am a rider. One of my experience I was riding on the ghat section at night and it was raining heavily. The vehicles coming from the opposite side project very high beam. Since it was raining heavily. It was quite a nightmare. I can tell very well from my experience how you have felt riding on those roads. Yeah, to add on i can completely co-relate how you felt riding an entire night
I am sure this journey of india will not disappoint you because whoever comes india this country never disappoints but this season is little wrong time to travel because its so hot 😅
